- Daryl (9/5): Perfect location close to everything a new visitor would need and very clean - Location was close to all amenities and walking distance to shops and restaurants and tram stop. Apartment was very clean and stocked well on all cleaning tools and supplies to help keep it clean. Adequate instructions provided to get the keys and to return them again. Very accommodating host who was very responsive and helpful in answering all my questions. Plenty of spare sheets and towels. Level 1 lobby could not be used to exit direct to street. Due to renovations all guests needed to first go to level 2 before taking a separate lift to exit the building which was an inconvenience especially during check-in and check-out times due to the single bottleneck.

There was a lot of convenient supplies in the property including coffee, tea, milk. Pool towels was a bonus too. We loved the terrace with great views of the city and canals. The view of the ocean in distance was very dramatic. Being in a such a tall building it was quite noisy at night and if the wind was strong the patio doors were shaking very loud. Nobody's fault, it's just very high and noise travels. There was some constuction going on the street below and machines were working at midnight! Pillows were weird - very soft and deflating as soon as you put your head on. A choice of hard, medium and soft would be best. A splash of bleach in the bathcroom sink would clean up the black residue, otherwise bathroom was very clean. I was impressed with the cleanliness there and in the kitchen.

Comfortable beds, overall a nice place to stay A lot of banging of different things when the wind was blowing. It woke me up a lot in the night. Being in such a tall tower means a lot of wait time to get up and down the lifts.

- Linda (10/5): Best Luxury Stay in Surfers Paradise - Our host was extremely accommodating. Danny met us when we arrived and helped us take our bags up to our room. We accidentally locked our keys in the room and he drove all the way over to our apartment to open the door for us so we could grab our set of keys. Upon checking out he helped us with our bags again and was always smiling with positive energy each time. We would love to stay at the Q1 resort again with Danny's fantastic hospitality.
- Amy (7/5): Ok location, comfy beds and good amenities. - The beds and pillows were comfy. An ok location. Tea and coffee provided and bottled water was a nice touch. I thought I was booking a hotel room not a residence. Would have preferred to check in like a hotel not get a key from a lock box at the convenience store. Also not have to take the rubbish when we leave. Room was dirty, fingerprints all over the windows. Backslash was dirty too. Dirty mirror and bathroom door ledge was thick with dust. When we arrived the Toilet seat was left up like a guy has just been. If the wind is up it’s extremely noisy with windows and doors constantly moving and banging, this was so annoying!! Broken door handle in main bedroom needs to be looked at.

Utilise the brilliant resort facilities or dine out at the many surrounding restaurants and bars. Spoiled for choice in the unit. Danny and Erin are gracious hosts and leave easily understood instructions for check-in All good.
