Good size The wifi wouldn’t work on the TV.
- Pek (9/5): Comfortable home away from home - Spacious, homely so one can easily cook simple meals. Since it s suited for family it s good for longer stay as you can do laundry that comes with a dryer. We were not told one of the room is locked and kept for owner’s use. Thats ok if we were told earlier. What if someone is staying inside there…
I hope the owner provide fan during summer as the rooms do not have AC nor fans

Close to cafes, shopping and public transport (tram stop directly out the front and only a couple of minutes walk to the train station.) Walking distance to Melbourne Central, Queen Victoria Markets and Lygon St restaurants.
We had a really comfortable stay. Allocated car parking was easy to get to and we were met at the car park on arrival which we really appreciated as it meant not having to find another car park while we got the key.
Very helpful host. An awesome place to stay - We’d definitely come here again. Only a minor thing, but we were asked to take out our garbage before we left.

Very useful to have parking. The check in process. I'd arranged to meet the owner, M, at 3. She messaged me the night before to say she was 'a bit ill' and I needed to ring 'Sam' (name changed) to arrange check in. No apology, no explanation of who Sam was.
I replied to M, asking if Sam could stick to the arrangement I'd already made with M (meet at the apartment at 3) but heard nothing back - M then ghosted me for 24 hours. It was stressful, but at least I was already in Australia, so could contact Sam. If I'd still been in transit from Europe, it would have been impossible - I might not even have seen M's message. Also, lone women travellers don't necessarily want to meet male strangers at an apartment, with no idea who they are or how they are associated with the property owner.
I did meet Sam, he was super-friendly and helpful, so all good. But worrying that I wouldn't be able to get into the apartment and would have to find alternative accommodation at short notice spoiled the start of my stay.
Of course, a property owner can become ill and have to make alternative arrangements, but you need to be professional about it. You can't message someone the day before arrival, telling them that the arrangements have changed and then not reply to questions (I later did get messages from M, so she wasn't so sick that she could not reply). And an apology and better explanation would have gone a long way.
Over all, though, I'd still recommend the apartment to Australians, as the location and facilities are great. But I would not risk it again, if travelling from abroad, as the hassle of a last-minute change in check-in arrangements, with the property owner ignoring messages, is too great.

The location is extremely convenient to the hub as well as the Melbourne Cricket Ground!
The hosts were very accommodating and responsive to the littlest of requests. Our arrival date was on Christmas Day between 5pm and 6pm. The apartment wasn't yet ready for another 40 minutes or so, so had to wait and everything was closed, being a public holiday.
- See (10/5): Very comfortable bed (5 stars) - Very nice and big apartment. Bed is super comfortable (better than 5 star hotel). 2 bathroom and 2 bedroom is nice. Parking is easy. Nothing.
- Ji (10/5): Great apartment! We had a wonderful stay! - It was a great apartment - spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is AC as well as a heater. The host is also kind enough to provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap that are gentle and moisturising. There is even a bottle of hand cream provided! Love the walk-in wardrobe too! The host was also very responsive in her communication with us and even met up with us personally to deliver the key.
Best part about the stay is that there is a tram stop just out front which makes it so convenient. Its proximity to cafes and restaurants is a bonus too. On the whole, we had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Will definitely book this apartment if we come back to Melbourne again. none

- Colletta (10/5): Exceptional - This accommodation is perfect! Just like a home away from home. The host had excellent communication and there were lots of extras (tea,coffee,sugar, condiments, shamp/cond, lots of cooking tools, washing powder, extra linen). Excellent for families as 2 bath/2bed and laundry facilities. The park is just across the road and tram stop is right in front of the building. Secure car parking also available. Highly recommend. Very comfortable.

A free tram zone stop was just out of the front door as well. Only 1 key available for the property to minimal ability to do things separately.
You do need to meet the host to collect your key, so you do need to know your exact arrival time so she can be available.

Our kids were absolutely comfortable and slept really well during our nights there. It is clean with fresh linens, had good heating as well. Our host was responsive and extremely helpful. She was opened to have us check out late. We had an emergency on our last day where we locked our keys in the house and went for last minute shopping. Our host was very kind to send us a spare key despite having a health condition that day. We are really thankful for her help! nil
