Murray (3/5): Quiet and restful - apart from the issues with the substandard fittings, the leaking roof etc. - Location. The sound of the beach. Closeness to supermarket & eateries. The bathroom, recently upgraded by the look of it, was lovely. Leaking roof in front bedroom. Aircon in kitchen not blowing cold air. Deck chairs (wooden) very low and difficult to get into and out of and the legs and arm on one had rotted and was very loose and insecure. Tables and chairs (on deck and in "dining" area all very high, difficult to use and uncomfortable. Loungs chairs very poor. Very low and insecure to get into and out of - might be acceptable to a younger able-bodied person but hopeless for anyone older or less mobile. General lighting levels poor. Ugly old plastic "wind screens" on end of deck really looked horrible. Second bedroom had a double bed (as did the main bedroom) but it was hard up against one wall so a second person using it would have had to climb in and over the first to get in and out. Luckily we had only one person in each bedroom. Whole place at a glance looked fine and clean but the functionality and comfort of the fittings was very poor and let the place down. Plus, the roof leak, from the staining on the ceiling, was not a new thing for the property.
