• Desire (10/5): It was wonderful - So many restaurants near by
• Paul (4/5): They take your money and then hide. - Great location and room was pretty clean, although previous reviewers had problems with cleanliness 'Made Comfy' is a broker selling airbnb space in this and another apartment in the Proximity block via Booking.com. You pay the full fee up front - and THEN they demand a photo of your ID and of you to confirm who you are. If you don't provide that then they will apparently cancel the booking and will NOT refund your money. No customer support at all. Their 24/7 support didn't answer and then hung up on us 4 times. Took the option on the 5th time to "press 1" for a return call that never happened. So suggest you don't lose your key, need a second key, have a flat battery in the gate security tag, etc, etc. Lack of towels, 2 towels? Really? That's the best you could do? No face washers. Guest supplies for maybe 2 days - tea/coffee/ soap/shampoo/etc - don't plan to stay longer. Guest instructions re Wi-Fi, etc available online - not much good when the website doesn't work. Key pick up instructions gives a street address for an apartment block but no information re apartment number, parking location, etc. Overall, the customer support from 'Made Comfy' was lousy and the staff in the Proximity apartment complex had to help us out re parking, etc. They are apparently so used to rescuing folks who are abandoned by 'Made Comfy' that they keep a running sheet of all the extra unpaid work they do.

• Jennifer (7/5): Good value for money - Beautiful view and nice and handy to shops and cafes. Nice little unit with all you need. The couch is very comfy to sleep on! Police station next door makes you feel safe. Secure locked car parking More towels!! We were supplied 2 towels for a 4 night stay for 2 adults, with no facilities to request more, also no face washers. We had to buy some. The dishwasher (we didn't use) was dirty with old food in the bottom.

• Margaret (8/5): It was great.nice view of ocean - For 2 sisters and 3 nite stay we had a towel each…at least 2 towels per person would be good…. We had trouble locating property asked the man at reception in proximity apartment VERY RUDE. Said no he couldn’t help us had to ring main office went out later and lady at reception was very helpful even helped with car space
• Mcrae (6/5): It was ok - Close to the beach and close to some shops, place was clean and a nice kitchen The wifi wasn’t working for a bit and I was promised something complimentary for that but never got it
• Laurence (8/5): Nice break in a lovely area of Redcliffe. - The apartment was in a great location for all amenities, great cafe next door. We liked the property and it was well equipped.
• Sydenham (4/5): Would not stay again, Mould, - Great View from the patio. Firstly to pick up the keys was such a hassle. The instructions to Check in were not clear at all. When we got to the apartment we could not get out the door from the room to the patio as we weren't given keys for it. There was mould on the window sill which was shocking (photo inserted) above the shower is really mould and dirty as there is no room for the steam from the shower to escape. The bed was so hard, my girlfriend and i considered sleeping on the couch at one point. The dishwasher and microwave stopped working half way through our stay, there was no aircon remote for the bedroom, and one night we came home to no power. When we had no power there was nobody to contact it just sent us to an automated line. We ended up resetting the main switch that we located in the pantry. The staff at Proximity Apartments were very nice and approachable but they were not of any help as this apartment is privately owned. It was confusing where we had to park as well, with no simple instructions.

• Lyn (5/5): Passable - The shower was a good size. Not being able to open bedroom window or glass door. The smell as you enter smelt like wet carpet. The pans in the cupboard as were not clean. The backsplash had dirty marks ,unclearn. No instructions for correct parking. The unstable dining table .The bed.very firm,the mattress protector paper thin. I feel the price that we paid did not meet my expectations .Its not how much you spend to furnish it’s how it is presented that counts and respectable quality,not all mix n max pots an plates . Looks like it all came from op shop. The stools unsturdy. The front door unacceptable. Having to go offsite to collect keys. Have stayed in many apartments from booking.com. This by far did not meet our expectations.
• Lyn (8/5): All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. - Location view size of unit. Tv didn’t work although technician did provide an aerial but still not satisfactory. No key to open bedroom door or window
