• Bibian (7/5): Goed, kookgelegenheid gemist - Goede bedden, voldoende serviesgoed, fijne handdoeken, netjes verzorgd (leuk detail is dat de bordjes op de kamerdeur qua kleur overeenkomen met de muren van de betreffende kamer) We hadden een mogelijkheid om te koken verwacht. Er was alleen een combimagnetron. Ons zelf overtroffen en hierin wel een pastamaaltijd en gebakken eieren kunnen maken. Meer zat er helaas niet in.

• Leen (9/5): Gezellig weekend in Veurne - Heel attent onthaal met thee, koffie, flesjes water, chocolade, een gevulde minibar, enz. Was heel aangenaam om zo aan te komen! Er is veel plaats, het is mooi ingericht en alles is comfortabel. Je kan gemakkelijk parkeren voor het appartement of in de straat en je hoort de auto's binnen niet. Het centrum van Veurne is vlakbij, mooi en heeft enkele gezellige cafés en restaurants.

• Danielle (10/5): Highly recommend this apartment! - Easy access. Off-road parking available. Beautiful little 2 bedroom apartment with little kitchen area and shower room. All beautifully decorated, equipped and very clean. It did not bother me but it must be stated that it’s on the first floor with no lift (just in case you have problems with using stairs). Oh! There’s a fridge but no freezer part for cooler bag ice blocks, just in case you’re travelling far and need to keep medication cold.
• Ivanfree (10/5): WE à deux pas de la côté belge. - Petit appartement très confortable avec 2 belle chambres, 1 sdb agréable et une petite cuisine/salle à manger fonctionnelle. Proximité de la plage, à quelques km, du centre de Furnes (moins de 10 minutes à pied) et possibilité de se rendre soit à Brugge, soit dans le nord de la France. Plusieurs magasins très proches.

• Juan (7/5): - La ubicación es excelente La cocina es muy básica para una familia, no tiene suficientes utensilios, no tiene hornillas para hacer alguna comida, el horno no es practico, no tiene manteles, papel de cocina, le falta una pequeña sala, o algún sitio donde sentarse que no sea la cocina, es muy buena para dormir pero no para estar allí, trabajar remoto.

• Gillespie (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable and smelt lovely. Veurne is a lovely place. The market square is stunning. No sofa so after the children were asleep it was just my husband and I sat at a dining table for the remainder of the evening.

Ce fut un agréable séjour car la literie est de qualité et il est possible de consommer les boissons dans le réfrigérateur à moindre coût. Du café et du thé ainsi que des bonbons sont à disposition gracieusement Justine est une hôte très agréable et arrangeante Je recommande L’idéal serait d’ajouter une plaque électrique et la climatisation mais nous avons pu avoir un ventilateur et un raffraichisseur d’air.

• Barbara (9/5): Absolutely great - highly recommend. - The layout was amazing. The practicality was there too. With the house, everything was where it needed to be, and without any complicated or unnecessary things added on. It had free WiFi and even a mini bar. Absolutely amazing and if I could give it any more, I would. Would have been nice to be able to use a hob although the microwave was multifunctional.

• Lydia (9/5): Lovely apartment and good base to visit Veurne, De Panne, Plopsaland &c - Score is rounded up from an 8.5 - a 9 feels a bit high, but I think most of our issues were incidental/circumstantial. The apartment was overall very clean and well appointed. The exact location isn't very exciting, but it's definitely convenient. It's a walk away from Veurne's centre and a good base for visiting De Panne (5-10 minute drive). Parking is really easy too. The host was very friendly and incredibly helpful. We had an issue with the plumbing and she was very quick to reply and try to help. She was also very respectful about not entering the property without express permission during our stay - even while we were out. Due to social anxiety, I much prefer stays where I can let myself into the property, but as Justine was so kind, on this occasion I didn't mind that we needed to arrange our arrival this way. The quality of the accommodation felt like very good value for the price. Unfortunately we came during a heat wave and the apartment has no air conditioning. We appreciated the host providing us with two (very good!) fans, but these really only helped in one room. The bathroom especially was sweltering throughout, and as there was no screen on the window, we didn't want to keep it open too much because of mosquitoes. The kitchen was nice to have, but it seems a shame there is no oven or hob - even a single portable hot plate would make a big difference. It felt weird to only have a microwave when there's a whole kitchen/dining room (if small)! The aforementioned plumbing issue was quite unfortunate. In the heat, a proper, cool shower would have been really appreciated, but we were unable to use the shower on full for more than a minute before the floor of the shower filled up and risked flooding. We also found that the blockage caused foul smelling water and black grit(?) to flood up through the shower drain when we used the other sinks. The host did make an effort to help with this when I told her about it - and it was my fault the plumber wasn't able to come during our stay (I left my phone in the apartment so was unable to reply with permission for the plumber to enter). So it feels unfair to mark down too highly because of this issue - but it did make a big difference to our enjoyment of the apartment, and, as the issue was there from before our stay, it's a shame it hadn't been fixed before our arrival.
