• Massimiliano (1/5): Mai più in questa casa - L unica cosa positiva era la posizione Arriviamo dentro le camere, le lenzuola completamente sporche, abbiamo dovuto comprare a spese nostre un copri materasso perché era macchiato di rosso, la finestra del bagno era rotta ed entrava tutto freddo, c’erano i giornali per coprire il buco, la pulizia non c’era, e per finire l ultimo giorno abbiamo visto un topolino in cucina, la puzza dei ristoranti entrava dentro casa con tutte le finestre chiuse”quelle che funzionavano”Soggiorno da dimenticare!

• Deborah (1/5): Do not book. Not as pictured. We had to book new accommodation. NOT SAFE - DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. AI used for pictures. This flat smells vile, it is also NOT safe. After we booked and paid they told us staff can enter any time for access to store cupboard. The area is awful and definitely not safe. We booked new accommodation within 20mins and left. Do not be fooled by some reviews. This place is disgusting. Mattresses are filthy. Its like a bedsit not like the photos at all. Smells Unsafe Vile mattresses Staff access
• Harrison (1/5): A huge dissapointment - not as advertised - The only thing that I can possibly say was good about this property was the convenience of being so close to public transport. The property is completely not as advertised. The entire property was unclean. We found mould in the rooms that looked like it had tried to be covered up as well as other peoples hairs over all of the furniture and even literal bed bugs. The property had a terrible smell of damp in all of the rooms and for someone like myself with asthma both the smell of damp and the mould were both affecting my breathing. There was also a window with a rooftop outside of it where people were walking around and could literally see into the property. There is no way I could have stayed there and we didn’t. Owner of the property was no help at all and didn’t seem to care about any of the issues raised. Will leave photos below.

• Katie (6/5): It does the job - Very easy location to get to, housed 5 of us comfortably and kitchen was well equipped. We were told the front door is accessible by staff to access the cleaning cupboard, this means there is no door/barrier to whoever will be accessing the property which left us feeling weary at night especially since staying with children. The property is spread over 4 floors and needs a lot of TLC. Shower would often run low with water and not be that powerful, plus strange smells in the kitchen living area from restaurants cooking below. Tv wasn’t great, satellite resting on a slated magazine rack. Pictures advertised aren’t that accurate, made to look cosier and less cluttered than it is.
• Klara (7/5): - Top locatie!! Er is enorm veel te doen in Brick Lane en de metro is dichtbij. Het appartement is voldoende ruim om met enkele vrienden te verblijven. Iedereen had zijn eigen kamer. Er is wel wat straat lawaai dat je binnen hoort, maar we konden er zeker door slapen. Het appartement heeft een wat vreemde inrichting maar alles is aanwezig.

Zostałam zapewniona, że takową otrzymam po pobycie. Prosiłam ponownie o dokument, po naszym pobycie kilkakrotnie: przez WhatsApp i przez Booking. Kontakt z właścicielem się urwał. Po co obiecujesz coś czego nie możesz spełnić?

• Barbara (8/5): Very good - Convenient location close to all public transport. Was on a work trip so only used the appartment to sleep and did not use the kitchen or other facilities. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the street. Everything I needed for the short stay was there and access was easy. As mentioned in most reviews, Brick lane is a lively lane and two out of the three bedrooms face the street so are quite noisy in the evening. I used the one facing the backyard which is very quiet, so this did not affect me.
• San (7/5): Good location but very noisy at night. Not suitable with small children nor elderly - I location is great. The steps were a bit too steep and one of the steps carpet was loose and can be a hazard especially when you have to carry luggage upstairs. Nigh time is very busy and noisy due to the busy bar around the corner. Sound proof window would be helpful.
• Niamh (3/5): Poor - When we arrived it wasn’t overly clean - hairs on some of the beds, all the cutlery & mugs & bowls had to be fully washed and sterilised. Only one pillow on each bed wasn’t enough. We had one guest that is pregnant & really struggled to sleep the first night as the noise from the street was too loud - the windows need better soundproofing. We asked for more towels on check in but didn’t get them for almost 19 hours. We also had very little toilet roll in the apartment. The apartment didn’t really feel safe - when we checked in we locked the door but a while later the doorbell rang - none of us ordered anything and felt really unsafe. There was the door off the street but nothing at the top of the stairs for protection. The photos sent of the door weren’t what it was - as there is loads of graffiti on it. Also in one of the bedrooms the door handle was broke and wouldn’t close, this was noted in a review in December & still hasn’t been fixed. We paid quite a lot of money & really didn’t enjoy it at all. The apartment is in a good location but that is really all it has going for it.
• Calvin (3/5): Adequate for our stay, but hard to recommend if you have other options. - The location was great. Plenty of food options all around and close to 2 tube stations. We walked from the apartment across Tower Bridge and along the Thames to the House of Parliament, going through Burrough Market. Spitalfields market is also close by. It was relatively clean. Bedding and towels were stained, but in general it felt clean. The owner let us drop our bags early before checkin. The mattresses were surprisingly decent. The bathroom has a constant and persistent smell of sewage. The duvets were very thin. The pillows barely classified as pillows. There was loose carpeting on the stairs, which almost caused a few mishaps. Stained bedding and towels were a bit off-putting. The electricity seemed a bit dodgy - some outlets didn't work at all, others seemed to provide some power but not enough to fully turn on a lamp. Meanwhile, the ceiling lights would faintly glow whenever the lights in a neighboring room were turned on. One of the bedrooms doesn't have a doorknob on the door. There was a key-like thing provided to open the door, which could be moved from the outside to the inside of the room. If you forgot to love it from the outside to the inside when you went to bed, you were trapped. This happened once to us, but thankfully one of us was still out side the room so could open it again. It's a cool location, but also a noisy one. Expect lots of noise up until around 1am and then again starting around 6am. It wasn't significantly cheaper than other options, but when we booked it was hard to find availability for a group of 5.

• Stephen (7/5): A pleasant stay but some drawbacks to consider. - Fantastic location on Bricklane (although may be a draw back for some see the didn’t like section). Clean property. Good sized rooms. Excellent facilities (e.g Kitchen and bathroom). Free WIFI. Good communication from hosts. Would be perfect for a longer stay or working in London. Very close to the tube stop. We stayed on a Friday night and weekend. The street was very noisy and the windows in the middle floor bedroom were not soundproof at all. Earplugs were needed due to the noise. It stopped around 2am but became noisy again around 6am. Being above a restaurant there were some smells from bins in the bathroom in the morning (Saturday morning). Each bed only had one pillow and would have been more comfy if there were two. The beds were also standard doubles (I’m 6ft 4 so not great for me but that’s a me problem and just something to be aware of).
• Lily (9/5): Great stay - Clean and great location Indian shop below so there is a strong curry smell but as the apartment was so clean this didn’t bother us too much.
• Louise (8/5): Very good - Location of the property is exceptional, bang in the middle of Brick Lane. Lots of bars & restaurants around all walking distance. The apartment is above a Bangali restaurant and the food smells definitely filter into the apartment. The apartment was very clean though you could get the smell of musty cloths when we arrived. The bathroom shower takes a long time for the water to drain - nearly overflowed after 3 of us showered! No mirror in the main bedroom. For a trip to London this place is perfectly located. On check out day I was asked to let the next group of people into the apartment so they could leave their bags at 9.55am which I had no problem doing not sure if others would be as accommodating! Left my Kindle behind in the bedside locker drawer and the owner/contact quickly found it and agreed to post it to me which was great and very appreciated! Would I stay again, yes I probably would for it's location!
• Leech (8/5): Very good - The owner was friendly, helpful and the booking was easy. Would recommend. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed out time here, the restaurant across the road were lovely, great food and also really helpful. You could walk or ride into town, but a Taxi ride into all the attraction was about 20 pounds each way. The street was noisy so not suitable for light sleepers, but great for busy fun filled nights. it's above an Indian restaurant so if you are not into smells it's not for you. There is also loads of stairs so not suitable for really young children or elderly.
• Carol (9/5): Lovely apartments, good communication from the owners. Clean and spacious . Great links to get around London. Would defi - The property was spacious and very clean. The location was perfect for getting around London. Plenty of choice for eating out. Great coffee shop just outside apartment. My only critique would be lack of extra blankets for bedding. The apartment heating is really good however one of our party is unable to sleep with heating on and the quilt was quite thin. However it was good for the rest of the group.
• Tania (8/5): Great location, simple but well equipped flat perfect for our group - Very good communication before and after our stay. We were kindly allowed to leave our bags in the apartment early which was extremely helpful so we did not have to carry them all day. It was great having an extra loo as well as the big bright bathroom. Lots of hot water and well equiped kitchen. Overall we were very happy but the pillows were pretty lumpy and the beds could have been more comfortable, not terrible but even a mattress topper would make a difference. Duvet was very thin, was not a problem as we had very good heating, but if you had thicker duvet or blankets people might use less heating!
