TV is squint on the wall and doesn't work because the batteries in the remote control are dead Pillows are soiled and lumpy Only one teaspoon, one wine glass, one large mug - for two people? No privacy from people on balconies opposite who look directly onto your bed - the windows need lace/net curtains so that you don't have to keep the ill fitting curtains closed. They are ill fitting and thin, don't cover the windows. One is hanging loose at one end and we had to use bulldog clips to keep them closed. The shocker here though is the lack of security - a courier had access to the door code so that he could deliver a parcel to a room on the same floor as us but worse than that was the fact that we returned from a day out to find our room not just unlocked, but the door pushed ajar. Turns out that a staff member left it unlocked after delivering some extra teaspoons (but no clean pillows), and it had been that way for some hours. An apology was received but at no point did I ever see a member of management to discuss the various issues that I raised via their messaging system. In the circumstances that would have been the obvious thing to do - send the manager to discuss the situation and make a personal apology on behalf of the business. Showing that you care counts for a lot in this world - a message via booking.com doesn't quite have the same value as a face to face conversation. Please don't try and spin this review - I have photographic and documentary evidence of all the points raised, plus your admission in writing regarding the courier access, and appalling breach of security to our room.

• Barry (7/5): Good WiFi and close to city, small bathroom & fussy apartment door lock - Close to shops, supermarket & tram, only 15mins to centre. Good WiFi & clean room. Good shower & equipped kitchenette. Good for a few nights. Small bathroom, always having to manoeuvre around door was annoying. Lack of power outlets near bed. The door lock to apartment was a bit unreliable, often had to type in code multiple times for door to open. Apartment was still being cleaned when I arrived 30mins after checkin time.
