• anne charlotte (8/5): - L'accès n'est pas facile mais l'endroit charmant au milieu de la nature. La chambre est minuscule & la salle de bain très sommaire.
• Scattolini (9/5): Ubicación increíble, Leandro un anfitrión espectacular, te sentís en medio de la selva estando cerca - La ubicación es increíble, al lado de un arroyo, todo cubierto de plantas y hay lugares donde meterse al agua dentro de la propiedad. Es hermosa, la cocina compartida siempre estaba ordenada, había muchas hamacas paraguayas para estar y era muy lindo desayunar o cenar en el deck que daba al arroyo. Leandro es un anfitrión excelente, relajado pero súper comunicativo y responsable de cualquier cosa que se pueda necesitar. Queda a unas cuadras en subida del centro, pero te sentís a mil kilómetros por la tranquilidad del arroyo y la vegetación que rodea la casa, que es la última de la calle. El colchón era un poco incómodo porque estaba un poco deformado y como la habitación tenía una pendiente ligera a veces nos dolía un poco la espalda al dormir. Había un poco de olor a cloaca que salía del desagüe del baño. Esto tal vez es común por el clima tan húmedo y cálido.

• Christel (9/5): Un petit coin de paradis ! - L'environnement est magnifique avec la rivière au pied de la maison, et le jardin luxuriant tout autour. Leandro est adorable et a même réservé pour nous le transfert Rio vers Ilha Grande. Il nous a aussi recommandé des sorties et excursions, c'était top ! Ill y a peu d'isolation sonore, et nous entendions pas mal les voisins du dessus.

Os quartos são simples e bem equipados, tudo muito funcional. Leandro é muito atencioso e prestativo, nos apresentou tudo por lá e nos deu várias dicas sobre a Ilha. Tem uma cozinha toda equipada que os hóspedes podem usar. Os quartos são pequenos, o banheiro precisava de um tapinha, a porta não fechava totalmente e tinha um forte cheiro se esgoto.

• Adam (10/5): Beautiful and clean spot nestled in the jungle. - The location in the jungle, near the river, was great! A beautiful place to spend time. Walkable to town, but a bit removed. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good WiFi connectivity despite being removed. Some of the household goods and fixtures were a bit run down - but they were all functional.

• Rodrigo (9/5): - Leandro muy buen anfitrión, atento a todo. La habitación chiquita pero limpia y cómoda, anda bien el aire acondicionado, baño normal. Cocina bien equipada y lindo espacio exterior que te hace sentir en la selva. Ambiente muy tranquilo, a pesar de estar a unas cuadras del centro es realmente muy silencioso y lindo.

• Jolanta (10/5): A good quality place to stay - A silent house in a beautiful place full of greenery and flowers. We had the larger accommodation with two bedrooms and it fully satisfied our needs. Do not feel discouraged by the fact that you have to walk uphill to reach this house. The path is not steep, the street uphill is quite short and very beautiful. The experience in this accommodation was excellent and I would stay there again if visiting Abraao in the future. -

Man følte sig hurtigt hjemme, og opholdet var præget af ro og komfort. Et sted jeg klart vil anbefale og gerne vender tilbage til!

A casa fica afastada do centro, o que eu achei excelente pois proporciona um espaço silencioso e com muita paz. Por conta do período de ano novo, a ilha passa por várias instabilidades no fornecimento de água, luz, internet, etc. Eu voltaria em outro período - na baixa temporada.

• Barbara Ellen (10/5): Um.paraíso em meio à natureza - O lugar é um paraíso! Perfeito pra fugir da rotina e do caos da cidade. Mesmo para os padrões de tranquilidade da ilha frente ao continente, está acima no que se refere a gosto de paz. Além disso, o Leandro é um anfitrião fora de série. Recepciona super bem, faz questão de mostrar cada cantinho da propriedade, é super solícito sobre tudo o que os hóspedes precisarem e ainda dá várias dicas pra otimizar a estadia e passeios durante a viagem. Voltaria mil vezes! Não é nem que "não gostei". Não me afetou em nada. Mas, apenas para avisar, a Casa Selva é um refúgio de calmaria e natureza justamente por estar afastada do cais. Alguns minutos de caminhada com subidas (leves) são necessários para chegar. Então, pode não ser a melhor escolha para quem tem problemas de mobilidade. E, mesmo para quem se locomove sem tantas questões, recomendo estar com bagagens mais leves. Por fim, a energia elétrica na Ilha Grande pode oscilar um pouco. Então, para quem for enquanto precisa trabalhar remotamente, vale se atentar. Quem for a passeio, só se joga e aproveita pra deslogar, mesmo.

Léandro met à disposition de nombreux équipements, tels que des hamacs, masque, tuba..

Leandro nos ayudó mucho con la visita a isla y nos organizó una excursión muy chula. Nos explicó todo muy bien en el check-in y puso mucha atención en que estuviésemos cómodos. Además nos ayudó a gestionar una sorpresa de cumpleaños en la habitación. Tanto la casa con Leandro han hecho que sea una experiencia increible. Sin duda la mejor opción para quedarte en Ilha Grande!

• Jean-baptiste (9/5): - Emplacement un peu reculé magnifique jardin avec la rivière et les oiseaux. Il s'agit d'un appartement entier avec cuisine salon et chambres très confortables. Leandro l'hôtel est d'excellents conseils sur les restaurants et tours. L emplacement peut paraître un peu éloigné du centre pour des gens qui auraient du mal a se déplacer.

• Jennifer (10/5): Great location, beautiful surroundings and fantastic host Leandr - Casa Selva is a few minutes walk from Abrao. It’s quiet and beautiful with several different places to sit outside amongst trees and next to the river. We stayed in the room with the kitchen inside and everything was perfect. The owner Leandro does an amazing job looking after his place and his guests. His helpfulness is exemplary.

Soggiorno assolutamente consigliato!

• Faifoo (9/5): Lovely place in nature and super nice host - We had an amazing stay! The host is really kind. He gave us tips about restaurants and hiking trails. It's a very peaceful place in nature, we loved it. It's safe to walk towards it from the centre at night. It's cosy and intimate but has a very big garden. We also enjoyed the shared kitchen. We definitely recommend this accommodation, it's our favourite of our whole trip. The beds are a bit hard but after the first night we got used to it.
• Pascal (10/5): Heerlijk rustige plek met prachtige tuin en erg fijne host - We stayed with our family at Casa Selva in early August. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Leandro and his dog, Maui. Leandro is a warm host who takes the time to show us every corner of his beautiful house and garden. From the babbling brook to the chickens, and from the lovely rooms to the terraces. The house is centrally located yet just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Abraao. This offers the advantage of tranquility and close proximity to restaurants. Besides Leandro being a wonderful host with many recommendations, I also remember the pleasant conversations. We highly recommend the accommodation if you're staying on Ilha Grande. • Soa (10/5): - Leandro ist ein sehr großzügiger und umsichtiger Gastgeber, bei dem wir uns total wohlgefühlt haben. Er war selbst viel unterwegs, auch oft in Deutschland, deshalb spricht er etwas Deutsch und ein hervorragendes Englisch, was in Brasilien nicht überall selbstverständlich war. Übrigens, wenn ihr ihm einen Gefallen tun wollt, dann fragt ihn, ob er Essen vom Burger King / McDonald möchte. Eine willkommene Abwechslung für Inselbewohner:). • Daisy (10/5): Tranquil stay in nature - Leandro was a wonderful host, he gave us great local info and his pets are so nice and adorable - there were plenty of amenities such as our own kitchen for cooking, an outdoor shower, a stream to paddle in and hammocks. Up a hill so prepare to carry your bags but well worth it - thank you!
• Marion (9/5): Superb - It’s such a little piece of heaven, away from the town buzz, you feel really nested in the jungle with direct access to the river and its pools. Leandro is amazing & so helpful. The room is small so be prepared! The bathroom door is one of those plastic sliding one so if you need privacy & intimacy…:) we could hear a bit the people in the chalet upstairs, not a big deal but their phones buzzed in the middle of the night and dropped something heavy on the floor so not fully soundproof but other than this, all good! The google maps pin is wrong so follow up the Booking one.

If you enjoy a calm place, outside of the beaten track, I highly recommend you staying at Casa Selva. Situated in the middle of the jungle, with a river passing just around, It’s the most magical place I’ve ever stayed in while travelling Brazil! Everything was perfect!

The location is stunning. We loved bathing in the private natural pool. Leandro is a wonderful host and gave us great advice and even lent us poles for hiking. Nothing - it was perfect

He is also a local guide so he has great tips and recommendation for whatever activity you want to do on the island. The house is vibrant, surrounded by nature and animals such as birds, even chickens ! The room has everything you need , with a little fridge , and you also have a kitchen at your disposal. It’s a great place for those who wants to replenish their energy in a calm and peaceful setting.
• Mx (8/5): Lovely spot to stay away from the busy street - Peaceful and beautiful place. Lovely dip in the river. Good communications and helpful host. A bit of a hike but not major issue. The room is on the ground floor so quite humid throughout. The design of the bathroom sink is a bit hard to use.
• Miroslav (10/5): Hidden gem on Ilha Grande - Casa Selva is an absolute gem! We are sure that we could not have found a more beautiful and lovingly designed accommodation. Everything about this place was perfect and the location on the edge of the forest was simply fantastic. But the best thing about this wonderful accommodation, besides the beautiful garden, is the host Leonardo. He is a ray of sunshine who tries with all his heart to make everyone's stay as nice as possible. We loved it here and can warmly recommend Casa Selva to everyone.

The owner, Leandro, is an absolute sweetheart and will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to ensure you have the best time on an island he knows so well. It’s a small casa, with everything you need for a few days in Ilha Grande. It is located right next to a river with natural pools for glorious morning swims. Staying there felt like an actual dream ! Could not recommend this place enough !!! -

• Susanagost (9/5): Small oasis in Ilha Grande - A small oasis in Ilha Grande. Siper cute house, sorrounded by nature, including a river where you can have a fresh swim. Amazibg to wake up with the sound of the water and the birds. But the best was Leandro, the owner of the house. He gives you such a warm welcome! And all the information you need from the island (without trying to sell any tours). Together with his lovely dog Maui, you will feel at home with them! There's a kitchen you can useand the room is small but it's clean and has all what you need. Obrigada Leandro! ❤️ The mosquitoes, but that's not their fault 😅

• Lucy (10/5): Highlight of the trip so far - This property was exceptional - felt so cosy and homely and Leandro went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Without a doubt the best hosting we’ve ever experienced! Before we’d even arrived, Leandro had helped us book a transfer to the island and he spent a whole morning with us helping us get a bus back to São Paulo. He also gave us a lot of the history of the island and so many recommendations for our stay as well which really made the whole experience unforgettable. Not to mention all the dogs and beautiful surroundings of the property including our own private river and stream - will be back one day I’m sure :)

It’s so reasonably priced for what you get, and the host only makes it better! It’s very peaceful and quiet compared to other locations we stayed on Ilha Grande, and you really feel like you’re staying in the jungle. There’s nothing to dislike
