Guest Reviews
- Paula (1/5): I didn’t like it. - Nothing. The only good thing is that is in front of the ocean. Everything else was in poor shape. For the price we paid, you would think the place is a bit nicer. It’s a very old building in rough shape. They don’t give maintenance to anything. At all
- Jerry (9/5): -
- Angie (5/5): - The property is close to the bus station and has outside seating on the seaside of the hotel. Felt safe and the host/owner is very kind. Property was fine for Dangriga standards. Good for an overnighter but no need to stay longer.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Great location and friendly staff.
- Cora (9/5): Right on the beach, easy to get to from the bus terminal. -
- Bo (9/5): -
- Judith (7/5): A unique little place. - There were a lot of amenities tucked into a small space. Kind of funky, but quaint. Nice setting on the shore. Staff was helpful. Not many places to eat nearby.
- Elena (6/5): Good and clean comfortable stay for one night, but quite overpriced - Right by the beach. Ok room for Dangriga standards. Clean. I know Belize is expensive for tourists, but it felt nevertheless really expensive for what we got. We were given the only room with barely a balcony on the ground floor, could hear the TV from the other room, there was no mosquito net and the room felt quite cramped. Those things wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the price we paid for it.
- Hespel (9/5): -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (7/5): Comfortable stay with ocean views - We were only here for a night, transiting from a boat trip to Belize City, so didn't really get to explore the surrounding area.
We had one of the unrenovated rooms - maybe one of the last unrenovated ones - & it was ok, but the renovations looked good & fresh in our friend's room.
The bar & restaurant next door is a short stroll away & has a good menu & lovely sea breeze.
If you need to adjust the shower water temperature, the instructions are in the room - we didn't see them till we were departing :-)
Enjoyed the ocean view & pelicans zooming overhead, especially when a storm rolled in.
- Teresa (9/5): Best value in Dangriga - The be honest, we were a little worried when we first pulled up to the building. But the rooms very exceptionally clean. And the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, and the view over the ocean was beautiful. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. This is no fault on the owner's part, but the erosion on the beach was very disappointing. I had imagined myself plopped in a beach chair reading a book. But that didn't happen. The beach is gone, so ignore those photos. The view from our second floor room was amazing though! And being a coffee lover, I missed my brewed coffee in the morning. But I guess that's not a "thing" in Dangriga, as I couldn't find a restaurant that served anything but instant coffee either.
- Colin (10/5): Great - Secure compound with guard, place to park the car. Someone always available by phone. The view from the room. Nothing really, it was nice
- Garth (8/5): Would stay again - Location Nothing
- Charlotte (8/5): Great hotel in Dangriga - The property was an easy walk from the bus station and the boat dock and felt like a safe location. The room was clean and comfortable and had a working AC. The gentleman who ran the hotel was really nice and was very accommodating when I had to stay longer due to illness. Would recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Dangriga. -
- Don (8/5): Very good -
- Kiera (10/5): Exceptional - Pals on the beach was an awesome place to stay! Right next to the ocean and close walk to the stores and restaurants! Augustin and the staff were very accommodating! Wifi
- Kori (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shirley (8/5): Very good -
- Gerald (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (9/5): Superb - Great staff, nice location. Room a little small for 3 and pricey.
- Lisa (4/5): Below average - Near the bus station. Nice lady on reception. Fridge useful. Clean. Good info provided in the guest book.
Balcony Bit rundown. No mattress protector so had to sleep on top the sheets.
Weird electric shower with wires everywhere. Got a small electric shock when I tried to adjust the temperature.
No breakfast.
Very expensive for basic accommodation.
Location, although near a beach (of sorts), is in what appeared to be quite a rough/poor part of town. felt a bit scary on my own trying to find food
- Pouget (9/5): Superb - Good location, nice man in charge at the hôtel, has à fridge, and à Nice view Nothing
- Beth (8/5): Very good -
- Teresa (7/5): Good -
- Erin (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (6/5): Basic, clean and economical - Good value, clean, basic necessities. Check-in was a little wait and get help at the hotel door, check-out was easy and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Loved the sounds of the waves just outside our bedroom window. Staff were not present on arrival. Location is what it is, not glamorous, this is an economy hotel that made an adequate stopping off point for one night.
- Aleksandra (8/5): Very good - Clean, quiet hotel right on the beach. Good option when passing through Dangriga.
- Love (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - Air conditioning was excellent and really appreciated on a hot sweltering day. TV had cable and we enjoyed watching an assortment of American sports.
In walking distance to supermarket (10 minutes) and restaurants/bars (10 minutes). In walking distance to port for water transfer to Tobacco Cayes (10 minutes).
The gentleman running the place was super friendly and helped us arrange taxis. The room had a kettle and coffee making facilities. The hotel had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Could do with a refurbishment; paint/furniture a bit outdated. Fridge not working.
- Shelia (9/5): Superb -
- Katt (10/5): I love this beautiful hotel and when I travel to Dangriga again, this will always be my first choice - Everything! The space, the comfort of the bed and pillows: the hot and cold water in the shower stall: the AC; the coffee maker and microwave; the patio facing the beach is my favorite. Watching the sunrise and talking with God made each morning feel extremely blessed. I couldn't stay longer 🤣🤣🤣👏🏾👍🏿
- Mackenzie (9/5): Superb -
- Bill (8/5): Very good - We stayed here because it was convenient for a tour office but found it exceeded our expectations. The property had been renovated with all new tile throughout and it was very clean. For a basic room for one night it was perfect with a nice deck looking over the ocean. Thete was no breakfast and the closest restaurant was done its menu by 6:00 PM. You need to plan to eat early or have access to a vehicle or taxi.
- Jon (9/5): Superb - Very helpful owner. Lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. Nice to have microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Slightly dated
- Hollis (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Robin (4/5): very unhappy with this accommodation - we could hear the sea. the balcony was small but okay Very rundown, hot water was non-existent after 1 short shower, 1 decent chair on the balcony and 1 broken plastic chair, the shower dripped continuously, the bathroom mat was a ratty towel cut in half. We requested another pillow and stopped by the office after dinner, as arranged,to pick it up. No one was there. At 9:45, there’s a knock at the door and it’s the manager with the pillow. The good news is he brought it. The bad news is we were already in bed! We were also disappointed that even though we were right on the water, we couldn’t swim in the sea due to all the silt, a constant condition. Not the hotels fault but it should be mentioned.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (7/5): Pal's on the beach - The property overall was not bad. Close to the beach and some amenities. Nice view. The room/property could do with some upgrade and cleaning
- Kevin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): perfect location right on the Caribbean Sea! -
- Jacob (8/5): Very good -
- Martz (8/5): Very good - Clean
Friendly Staff Workers outside room working on construction
- Edwin (1/5): Na - Na I book a Room when I go there they don’t open the gate for me to come inside and I have already pay for my Room I call so so much but no one answers my call
- Joe (4/5): Disappointing -
