• Maja (10/5): 5 star :) - Really recommended place. Very close to the slopes, it takes 7,8 minutes with child. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. For example, when we entered the spa with our child, they immediately asked if we needed a floatie or inflatable armbands. When we went into the playroom and everything was turned off, the receptionist quickly came in and turned everything on for us—just one of many thoughtful gestures. They really paid attention to every detail, both in the room and throughout the hotel. The room was fully equipped with everything we could need—quality bath gel, shampoo, body lotion, mirrors—nothing was missing. Very clean and a little view at the mountain from our room. A wide range of food eventhough we were at the end of season. So cute two huge aquariums in the restaurant - we enjoyed looking at them. The spa center was absolutely fantastic - clean, friendly staff and pretty relaxed. I also have to praise the ski rental—two wonderful people working there, very friendly and helpful. See you next year!

• Anna (1/5): - Well, where should I start—our stay was a nightmare. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the room, and we had to change it. The restaurant had an overpowering kitchen odor that stuck to our clothes for days, making it impossible to wear the same clothes outside. The breakfast and dinner were very poor and basic. The staff were unprofessional, and the rooms were old, extremely worn out, with bathroom issues. The only “positive” was the 10-minute walk to the slopes

• Ruzha (10/5): dreamy ski vacation! - amazing hotel, 10 min walk to Yastrebets ski slope. Food was good quality, spa very well maintained. Overall great expereince. this is the best location for ski trip of advanced skiers, as you end up on the Yastrebts express slope. Its not very suitable for unexpereined skiers, so in such case you may have to travel to the other ski slope areas.

Food was traditional Bulgarian but excellent, great selection, salad was outstanding. Beds weren’t the best. But okay for a couple of days.

• anisoara (9/5): relaxare la munte - Camera mare, calduroasa, micul dejun si cina incluse in pret. Cele 5 stele sunt de fapt 4 stele ca si confort. Zona de SPA bine amenajata iar doamna de acolo comunicativa si gata sa rezolve orice problema. La cina bauturile sunt contra cost. Distanta mare fata de centrul statiunii, aproximativ 5 km, insa se asigura transport in statiune dimineata ultimul transport catre statiune fiind la ora 10, iar la intoarcere ora 16,30.

• Ivaylo (8/5): We like our overall stay in the hotel, but were surprised unpleasantly by heating being turned off - The location of the building is about 5 mins on foot from the Yastrebets ski slope and 10 mins by car from the Borovets ski center. The amenities are OK and our apartment had one bedroom and living room turned to bed, as well as one bathroom and two toilets, which was more than enough. The food was good enough both in terms of quality and quantity. The spa center in the hotel was not properly maintained. The steam room had its door not closing which lead to constant issues with that amenity. The pool and jacuzzi water temp was low (25-27 degrees Celsius), which made them unusable. The who spa center amenities power is cut off every day and turned on again the next day. This causes usage of the center to be available only half the day, as the different amenities are not ready for use in the first 3-4 hours (too cold). The room temperature was controlled centrally, and the heating is being turned for only a few hours in the morning and at night. This whole energy saving process is making the winter stay in the hotel not at all pleasurable.

• Williams (8/5): Borovets hills half term stay. - We enjoyed our stay as a family of 3 Dad and 2 girls, the hotel staff are very helpful and nothing to much trouble. Spa and swimming facilities are superb, restaurant a little dated as we were half board breakfast once again very good however the evening meal was a bit repetitive as we ended up eating in town after the 2nd night. Location if you want peace and quiet perfect,we were their kids half term and quiet except for Saturday. For us taxis worked out pretty expensive every day. Overall pretty good and value for money.

• Dar (8/5): A good value for money - מיקום מצויין עם שירות שאטל לעיירה / לגונדולה וחזרה. ארוחות נהדרות ומגוונות מדי יום . חדרים גדולים ומרווחים. שירות נפלא וצוות ספא מדהים- אחד העיסויים הטובים שעשיתי !!! חדרים קצת מיושנים בעיצוב שלהם. יש בעיה של אטימות החלונות- חדרים קצת קרים מהרגיל אבל המלון סיפק לנו גם רדיאטור נוסף. שירות ניקיון לא וואו- לא החליפו מגבות / כוסות משומשות- היינו צריכים כל פעם לבקש מחדש

I liked how children could use all of the spa facilities too. The room was very old fashioned with regards to decor, which is a shame as everything else was brilliant.

Location was idyllic and didn't bother us to be a bit removed from village as you can ski in and out, take ski bus or use a cab. Bathrooms super clean, nice relaxing lobby and great spa facilities. We had a fantastic time.

• Jeb (8/5): Location was definitely good; food was great; staff was top notch; rooms needed some love - At first I thought it was a bit far away from the town, but quickly realized the value of being a bit farther from the action. Great value and walkable to the slopes. I would recommend for families. Three small changes would make a huge difference: 1) get rid of the old school satin looking bed covers. Go white. It looks cleaner and brightens up the room. 2) get rid of the automatic toilet lids (no need) 3) and invest in new mattresses

• Omi (4/5): Rude spa staff - Nice location, staff at reception where nice. The staff was incredibly rude! Especially in the spa and restaurant.

• IvaA (6/5): Not equipped to be a ski hotel! - The location was great, very close to the slopes. Staff was friendly and breakfast and dinner were very prompt. Good breakfast and dinner spread. For a hotel that claims to be a SKI hotel, it was disappointing to discover that unless we paid extra to store our skis behind the counter at the ski storage, they might be stolen so it’s on us if we just left them at the one small ski rack in the room (not behind the counter). On booking.com it says ski storage included, it definitely isn’t which is false advertising. The resort offers night ski, but the hotel doesn’t tell you they offer shuttle service to the the town chairlift, it’s just printed on a small piece of paper in the storage room and it’s upon request, so I am sure it’s paid for. The ski storage was also only opened until 5pm! So if you stayed in town for some drinks or food after the ski day or you did night skiing, you’re screwed and your best bet is to store your skis in your room. My niece was with us and we wanted to use the kids centre on Saturday and guess what!? No surprise, we had to pay 5lv an hour for her to play there !!?? Again, it doesn’t mention anywhere you have to pay to use the kids centre! Apparently it’s only free during the week, not the weekend. Drinks weren’t included in dinner, which I understand but they could have at least had water dispensers so people can help themselves to water. We wanted some water for my 2 year old nice and they told me I had to buy a bottle of water. Water should be human right, not a luxury you can purchase for extra ££. We paid for our stay and all of the services advertised so it was disappointing to be charged extra for everything. The water in the swimming pool was always really cool at 27 degrees. For an indoor pool and the amount of kids there were, it should be at least 34. The jacuzzi water was always really dirty so didn’t even dare go in there. We asked the hotel staff to fix a light fixture in our toilet because it was flashing all the time, felt like I was in the club every time I went, but no one fixed it. Overall, I don’t think I’d stay again.

• Emil (5/5): Разочароващо - Супер разположение в близост до пистите. Сауната беше на добро ниво. На първо място хотелът изобщо не отговаря на стандарт 5 звезди. Вечерята не е на високо ниво като качество на храната и разнообразие. Спа зоната е студена и ако сте без халат завити едва ли ще се отпуснете да релаксирате, както и басейна, който освен за тренировка по плуване не става за къпане с дете и ако сте с малко дете освен то да стои в джакузито, другаде няма къде да е. Ски гардеробът освен, че предлага малко на брой и недобре поддържани ски има общо 2 сноуборда и отношението на персонала не е на никак добро ниво - бавно, неучтиво отношение. Стаите бяха студени и няма възможност за увеличаване на температурата.

• Claudiu (1/5): Too expensive for the experience, definetely not a 5* hotel. - The rooms were pretty cold, the hotel is far from to the slopes and the shuttle is too small to accommodate all the guests and the frequency is too low. Half board is included but they DON’T OFFER WATER for dinner. What am I supposed to do? They basically force you to pay for water as there is no tap water either. Our waiter didn’t speak english at all (she didn’t even know what “still water” means)

Odadaki buzdolabının sesinden uyuyamadık. Prizler yerinden çıkmıştı ve küçük çocuğum için çok endişelendim. Ayrıca yeteri derecede sıcak da değildi. Yemek saati boş masa bulmak, havuz kenarında boş şezlong bulmak çok zordu. Ayrıca oda hazır olmasına rağmen bir saat erken giriş için 10 leva aldılar, ilk defa böyle bir uygulama gördüm. Kesinlikle otelin bakıma ve yönetimsel bir düzenlemeye ihtiyacı var.
