• Laura (8/5): - La ubicacion es muy buena. Las fotos son iguales a la realidad. Bien iluminado .. sin ruidos. Super recomendado.... solo algo para mejorar.... El baño queda en una de las habitaciones por lo que debiamos dejar abierto para que los de la otra habitacion pudieran pasar ... incluso en la noche ... lo que lo hacia un poco incomodo y poco privado.

Cristales tan sucios que parecían opacos. El baño estaba en una de las habitaciones y no de forma independiente.

• Denise (7/5): Good central location, great views, quiet - Central location, clean & quiet Initially there was confusion over the part meant we’d booked but it was sorted quickly the staff were very amenable
• Emily (6/5): Room for improvement - We loved the location and front desk staff. Also, the building is cool and the apartment has great light and views. Sheets and towels clean. Nice to have a washer and dryer. The front desk people were not aware of our arrival. Also,there wasn’t any information re the internet or anything else. Fortunately the front desk people stepped in to help out. The apartment was dirty, especially the floors. The dust bunnies and hair clumps around and including in the shower were for the record books. Generally, a bit grimy. Also, the dish sponge was really old and dirty and there wasn’t even a partial roll of toilet paper to get you started. We booked this apartment so that we could cook at home. The stove does not work. The small electric plug in burner doesn’t cut it as you really can’t boil water. The was a microwave. Two plates. The main AC unit doesn’t work but between the units in the bedrooms and the fan, we were fine once we got the air circulating. Lastly, we asked the owner if she could help us store our luggage while we went to some islands for a few days. I understand that we should pay for the service but she charged us quite a bit and then questioned that we did pay when we picked them up. I had taken a pic of the transaction because I had a feeling that she might do this, but honestly it felt like she was trying to get us to pay again/scam us. (It was one her staff from another property that was present to help us retrieve the bags so she wasn’t aware of the link we had been sent by the owner to pay.) I’m not sure about this but given it all, it seemed plausible that she was questioning our integrity or attempting to pull a fast one. We are really good renters and we always leave things better than we found it. We did like the apartment in many ways but overall, it needs a deep clean and upgrade. Also, we really didn’t appreciate her nickel-and-diming. A little bit would have gone along way with us as we’re easy. I don’t normally write negative reviews unless I feel the need. In this case, I did.

• Kate (9/5): Stunning apartment, stunning view - The apartment is gorgeous... full of character, and the panoramic views (looking towards the sea) are unreal! It really exceeded our expectations, particularly taking into account the very reasonable price. Accommodation in Cartagena is typically expensive compared with the rest of Colombia (I'd previously stayed in another less central part of town and paid more than this for a significantly less appealing place)...So I think it's an absolute bargain. It's also in a beautiful old university building with a serviced reception. Right in the heart of the historic centre of Cartagena, too. The only negatives I can think of (neither of which were much of a problem for us): 1. The apartment has 1 bathroom, and it is an en-suite attached to one of the bedrooms. In other words, one guest always has to access the other guest's room whenever they want to use the toilet or shower. 2. You can hear the wind very loudly from inside the apartment, even when it doesn't seem that windy outside (not really the host's fault as it must be to do with the structure of the building?). I just saw it as white noise and generally wasn't bothered by it but it might trouble some people trying to sleep

• Sara (9/5): Convenient charming apartment in downtown Cartagena - Great apartment located in the heart of Cartagena Centro. Easy walk to many desirable locations. Friendly staff and easy check in. Washer and dryer and cold AC! Toilet needed to be manually flushed, but it was no big deal as we were depositing paper into the can by the toilet. Heads up: It seems like someone before us broke glass, as there was a piece hiding under the table that my wife stepped on.
