- Jordan (10/5): - Literie parfaite, petit déjeuner copieux et excellent et un accueil au petits soins rien
- Natasha (10/5): Perfect peaceful getaway in a unique city with nature and warm hosts. 10/10 recommend and returning! - My husband and I stayed 2 nights in Spa in May as first timers in Belgium, who came to experience the famous Thermes de Spa and Endurance Racing weekend. We both agree that Marc and Nadine's home is one of the best places we have stayed for a getaway! We loved their home, which is super unique and quite historical with every corner a delightful detail, we loved spending time in the garden that was abloom with a sorts of scented flowers, fruit trees, herbs, and a chicken coup, we loved swimming in their pool during sunset and exploring the quiet town famous for its mineral water. But most of all, our stay was truly exceptional because of the extra care that Marc and Nadine extended to us! They say, no matter where you go, the people make the experience - and it is absolutely true at this stay. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, passionate about their city and sharing many keen facts and their local herb liqueur, even bringing local fountain water for us to try to fully experience the mineral content and dropping us off at the race to make our life easier with parking! Nadine's breakfasts are loaded with love and treasures from the garden - we definitely miss these. We don't speak very much French so as we tried our best, we really appreciated our hosts trying to speak to us in our native English :) Also, as someone that doesn't sleep very well, I had one of the deepest sleeps I've had in a very long time here - the bed was very comfortable with all the tiny details fulfilled to create deep sleep - black-out curtains and absolute quietness. The room also has a delightful adjoining sitting room with a view over the lush hills and garden to enjoy during the day! Overall, it is a perfect stay if you're looking for a peaceful time away in a beautiful town with wonderful surrounding nature to enjoy, hosts who are warm and respect your space. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer! Absolutely nothing we did not like.
- K&ccmcdougall (10/5): Superb Hotel with charming and helpful Nadine and Marc as hosts - Location for Grand Prix is excellent. We were honoured to be the first guests, and Nadine and Marc were super hosts. They went out of their way to support us in getting to the race circuit, and pointed us in the right direction for local restaurants etc. The hotel is immaculate, the room was superb, and we both had a great sleep in a quiet and very comfortable bed. It really was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the Spa area. There is nothing we didn't like.
