• Leanne (7/5): - The location The house Good communication with the host Smart TV Lots of bugs in the house and spider webs inside, lack of amenities, we had one bin bag,one roll of paper towel and one dish washing tablet (we messaged about the dishwasher tablet and the host organised the cleaner to drop some off) and only one pod for the coffee machine. We booked for 4 people. The outdoor bin was also full so it was hard to fit our rubbish in. Large umbrella for outdoor coverage while using the BBQ was broken also.

• Bum (10/5): Perfect for a solo break or down time with a couple of friends. Delivers everything it promises. - Dusty (my dog) and I loved everything about this lovely cottage. It was bright and open, spotlessly clean but not so much so as to be unable to relax. It was very quiet of an evening and we were woken in the morning by lovely birdsong. The linens were crisp and clean, the bath towels fluffy, and there were extra blankets available if needed. The host even provides a coffee machine WITH pods, and there was long-life milk in the fridge - very thoughtful. Leaving... we didn't like leaving.

Alex, the host, was incredibly accommodating and made sure I had all the information I needed before my stay. Accessing the property was simple and straightforward. While the cottage is a little older, it was clean, tidy, and equipped with everything needed. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and local shops. The fully fenced backyard is huge, and my dog absolutely loved having the space to run around! Nothing

• Graham (4/5): Two nights.....all ok except for the cleanliness of the beds. - Location and heating. No breakfast included in the deal. Not enough coffee pods Very disappointed with cleanliness. Sand and crumbs in the double bed. It seemed sheets and doonas were just pulled up after previous guests on double and single beds. One of the pillows had an odd smell and the spare pillow in the cupboard was very dirty. Not enough coffee pods.

Very clean and inviting. Absolutely fabulous location, one minute walk to beach. Very well set up for pets - Fences all well enclosed and great sized backyard.

The only thing they could do to neaten the property is to mow the backyard and wash down the outdoor patio and table

• Sophie (8/5): Family stay at the beach cottage - Our family of 5 loved our weekend stay at the beach cottage. Such a comfy clean house, you felt at home instantly. Everything was fresh and tidy, beds were comfy, air conditioning kept the whole place cool especially since it was extremely hot out. It was the perfect place for us to stay, close to the beach and main street, we could walk easily with the kids and all our beach stuff. Would highly recommend.

The house is for private use, and the location is very convenient!! it’s close to a shopping center and right in front of the beach, so you can easily walk there :) The stars in the sky, visible from both the accommodation and the beach, were countless and beautiful. • Jen (10/5): Great little get away - Great location and facilities. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to a pre- cooled house, thank you for that! Very clean and a great spot to chill with friends. Front door was a little tricky to lock but got there in the end and the hosts did provide tips in advance on this so it wasn't a surprise. Think this was more so due to the hot weather.

Coming b - *A/C in main living area and both bedrooms was a huge plus for summer weather. *Washer/dryer and outdoor clothesline very convenient for beach holidays with kids. *Lovely shaded outdoor dining space, including a BBQ *Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area with television and space for relaxing. *Close to restaurants, shopping centre (Coles and Kmart) and fantastic beaches. *Pet friendly and fully fenced so our little dog could come along!
• Veronica (7/5): This cottage is ideal for a short getaway with a small family. - This beach cottage is conveniently located near the shop and the beach. Overall, the location matches the description and is suitable for a short trip with a small family. There were numerous spider webs throughout the property, particularly in the bedroom. The walls and ceiling also require cleaning. The equipment was not clean; the kettle was very dirty inside and had black marks, while the toaster was similarly unclean. Additionally, the BBQ grill was in poor condition for cooking. We tried to clean it, but the grease was stuck and would not come off. As a result, we will need to go to Coles to purchase a BBQ tray instead of using the grill, and these items should be replaced. Lastly, the linens were not appropriately washed; one of the beds was somewhat dirty and had an unpleasant odour. They need to pay more attention to washing the linens.

Although it was pet friendly, was not pet safe. We spent a lot of time picking up big plastics, metal, rubbish from the backyard so our pup could be safe in the space. Shower could do with a thorough clean and there was no soap to wash hands and coffee pod machine didn’t work!

Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Decking at front of property starting to splinter and fall apart, potentially becoming unsafe for guests.

We only stayed one night, I think a few nights would have left me feeling sore from a rough - Great location, great sleeping configuration, cosy little home, nice pillows, warm blankets, very clean, they had fresh towels ready on each bed. Coffee machine doesn’t work, the coffee that was pushed through was minimal - so very watery. There was instant coffee available. The yard was very basic, but okay. The main bedroom bed was not very comfortable, all the beds were super creaky/squeaky and may need their bolts tightened.

• Jodie (7/5): Room for improvement - The location was great. The house was cosy The shower could have been cleaner, The provision of coffee was minimal. But advertises coffee and tea. Lots of cobwebs on the inside of property. The front door was a security code door. Normally they lock automatically. This door did not, there was no details on how to close or shut the door when leaving. I had to keep using the back door. I sent the owner a message telling them of these issues, after I left with some other feedback. I got no response, so I was given no choice than to tell you all. Could be excellent just needs a few tweaks. ALSO, check in at 3. That's not much time in the property. Yes, I was allowed to check in at 2. I also have pics of how we left it, if they want to sling back for backup.

The lock in the toilet was really sharp, my partner cut his thumb bleeding when trying to unlock the toilet door.

The fire place was nice a cozy for winter and was pet friendly which was super handy as we were able to bring our small dog along with us. Very narrow entry way into the driveway which can be tricky during the evenings when there is a lack of street lighting.

Outdoor furniture was covered up on our arrival, when uncovered table was dirty and chairs had bird poo on them. Bathroom well, shower, was in the laundry, hole in the shower wall. Rubbish bin in kitchen filthy, no dish cloth to wipe grotty outdoor and indoor tables. Blinds don't fit window in main bedroom. Love a refund, never again.
