- Maxwell (9/5): Well equipped large entertainers house in a peaceful rural location with a lovely river view. - Very large and comfortable house hosted our large group well, excellent for families! The heated swimming pool and adjacent games room were ideal - we swam in winter! Very quiet area made for great sleeping in comfortable beds. The area rural and peaceful and the view over the river is lovely and the house is set up for entertaining. Located at the Northern entry area of the Tamar river, this semi-rural property was a little further than we thought so planning is essential when visiting the closest supermarket in Beaconsfield or day trips to vineyards. For our week we flew in and out of Launceston and the property is a 50min. drive North, so once again - plan your stay.
