Let me checkout a bit late and helped with some concerns I had There's minimal soundproofing and guests next door and above can be heard easily. So if you're sensitive to sound then bringing good earplugs etc. are a must

• Justin (9/5): Beautiful accommodation, will happily stay again - The host is friendly and quick to respond. The room i had originally booked was not available, so with my consent, the host organised alternate room in a different building in the area. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property is located on the lake front, with plenty of cafes within walking distance. There's an unobstructed view of the entire lake from the rooftop, perfect for watching the sunrise/sunsets. The accom is located away from public transport and attraction, so expect to use Grab to get around. The roof-top area is covered in a thick layer of dust (this is expcted in hanoi), and the dust will track onto your drying laundry.

• Abhishek (9/5): Nice stay for a day - The property was on a good location nearby the lake. But we arrived late at night and the owner gave clear instructions to check in.. Overall a decent place to crash. They have microwaves, stove, n all so for the price it’s worth it. The rooms were sold out the other day so we couldn’t extend a stay. The bathroom’s drainage was bit hard to go.
• Christoph (7/5): Good - Quiet and peaceful location. We were able to use the wash machine and dryer. No water jn ther property at arrival. No handwash. Generally the mattress is really old and through. You are falling off to the middle which is bad with 2 people. I dont want to know how old it is. Location is with a good view and cafes but you cant buy real stuff anywhere close or eat anything, only dozens of cafes. For 2 nights it was pleasant but for a week it would be a no-go for me. Service was good and they tried to comfort us. Overall unfortunately not a 9+. Dont know why people rate this way.

The host is very kind and helpful, always responding to my requests or taking initiative. Free laundry. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Netflix and good internet. Elevator. Parking for bicycles and scooters. Close to the market. On the top floor, there is a very bright terrace with a view of the lake. Free cleaning from time to time. In my room, it was a bit dark. The balcony window overlooked a neighbor. There was no small window to open, and when I opened the large one in the evening, cockroaches were already getting ready to come in (not during the day). In Hanoi, there are so many cockroaches that you will find one or two in your room anyway. The bathroom door is semi-transparent, which may be uncomfortable if more than one person is staying there. The toilet flush doesn't always work.
• Trent (10/5): Local quiet apartment a couple kms out - It was quiet and comfortable for us. We didn’t use the kitchen. We even walked to the Old Quarter so it’s not that far away from the tourist stuff. Clear information and easy check in. There’s lots of local street food in the area but it was difficult know when to eat. Places that looked good and busy at 11am were closed in the afternoon, for example. We ended up walking to the next neighbourhood for dinner.

• Kei (10/5): Great - The rooms were kept clean and the owners were really kind. There are many lakeside cafes around the hotel and many dining options at local restaurants. It costs about $1 to ride a grab bike to the old town, so I used it every day (it was also a fun experience). Wi-fi was the fastest I've ever had in my life (500Mbps!) The shower drain is a little bad, but if you wait it's fine.

• Veronika (9/5): Superb - Location, close to the lake and the main street - but in a quiet alley. Nice big windows. Good breakfast, freshly made (you can choose eggs, Banh mi, pancake) Bathroom floor allways wet. Some neighbours from other houses like to burn rubbish outside and the whole village smells. Coffee and tea awful, the cheapest ones. Not possible to pay by card.
• Samira (7/5): Perfect for quiet stay and Netflix - Free Netflix and comfortable bed Also there is a nice rooftop terrace Everything was wet. The floor between the elevator and room was always wet and never dried. The fridge was wet inside and outside from condensation, no idea how. After two days I noticed that all edges on the floor were permanently wet. To be fair, it has been quite humid this week but still , it just didn’t feel right . Still for two nights we had a good stay

• Tammana (10/5): A home away from home - A home away from home, had everything I needed, from toilet paper to cooking pan to free laundry, including detergent. Manager was accommodating and bought me a gallon of drinking water and a cup when requested which was so helpful. Cleaning included but didn't need it. The place has a sofa, table, chairs, stove, fridge, basic crockery, a king sized bed and ample cupboard space. It's located on a small island with various cafes so you have some options for breakfast/dinner. Also, it's quieter than the rest of Hanoi. Highly recommend.

• Khanh (9/5): Great host and place place! - Super close to West Lake, easy self-checkin, and huge basement for parking. The room is clean and have all necessities, and Netflix. Its spring mattress. I can feel the springs in the mattress and it hurts my back. Please consider adding some toppers on it

• Chi (9/5): Clean and wonderful location - The appartment is like new furnished, clean, large enough for 2. Kichenett and 2 toilets. 2 minute via the alley you could reach the West lake promenade, good for morning exercise. Bike could park inside. Check-in late, you need to call the manager to let you in. But quite smooth.
