• Christian (1/5): Misleading listing & very difficult refund process - We booked this apartment because air conditioning was listed as available, which was essential as we were travelling from Sweden to Sydney with two children during extreme heat. On arrival, we discovered there was no air conditioning, only fans. After contacting the managing agency, they acknowledged the listing was misleading and agreed that we would pay for one night only and receive a refund for the remaining three unused nights. We checked out the same day. Despite this agreement, the refund process has taken over a month, with inconsistent communication, unanswered messages, and being repeatedly sent back and forth between the host, agency, and Booking.com. Issues can happen, but how they’re handled matters. Unfortunately, accountability and follow-through were lacking by the hosts Niklas and Jonna Wallberg. The same goes with the responsible agency managing the booking on their behalf. I recommend future guests verify essential amenities carefully and be prepared for a difficult resolution if something goes wrong.
