Guest Reviews
- Lucy (8/5): Great place to stay! -
- Malin Ghiocel (10/5): -
- DeKeyser (4/5): Very inexpensive but uncomfortable neighborhood - Nicely decorated, completely furnished, spacious enough.
The responses from owners were pleasant if difficult to understand
Bathroom was clean but the bath mat looked as though it had never ever been washed Very dirty. No one cleaned or if they did the standards of cleaning were atrocious. There was a dirty pan in the oven. Moving the kitchen canisters one centimeter over on the counter top revealed sticky substances. Crumbs and small pieces of little items like tops to lip balm under the bed. Mildew smell had to be aired out for a day. I washed towels and sheets before I slept one night because I did not trust they had been washed. Carpets/rugs not vacuumed. Bath mat was awfully dirty, like stepping on it after a shower would have been Mismatched dishes, pots and pans, most without covers. I would suggest the owners visit a well kept and cleaned hotel or vacation rental to see the difference. The entry to building was filthy and cluttered with trash meaning mailing paper no one bothered to pick up. Many cleaning solutions but no paper towels. Lots of half used bottles of shampoo or soap. But very cheap compared to the rest of London
- Tahni (7/5): - Great kitchen set up you with everything you need, perfect for a family getaway
- Kristina (9/5): Our stay was very enjoyable. The only small suggestion I would make is that if you are booking for a large family, it’s - The property turned out to be much closer to the city center than I had expected. When I took a taxi, the driver mentioned it was only a minute’s drive, which surprised me I hadn’t realized how central the location actually was. As soon as we arrived, I noticed how convenient everything was: Morrison’s, other supermarkets, and plenty of local shops were all within easy reach. This was a huge bonus for us, especially since we were traveling as a family. Nothing really that I could complain about .
- Rizwan Ali (10/5): - Property was clean and spacious It would have been better if the property had dishwasher. Also garden cannot not used because of Peebles there should be grass or slabs in the garden.
- Jonathan (4/5): Could Be Great — But Too Many Issues Left Unaddressed - We liked the location and proximity to our London Family. Our stay at this London flat was deeply disappointing, especially given the cost of nearly $2,000 USD for 9 days. Upon arrival, the comforters had a strong sour smell, clearly not dried properly. The unit only had a washer and no dryer, and the outdoor drying rack was dirty, covered in spiders.
Safety and security were serious concerns. The back door was broken and remained unlocked throughout our stay. Additionally, there’s a nearly one-foot drop into the living area without any railing or warning — a major hazard that caused a visiting family member to fall and nearly get injured.
The bathroom had an overwhelming sewage odor that persisted for the entirety of our stay. Despite repeated communication, the landlord made no effort to resolve the issue. There were also no washcloths provided, forcing us to purchase our own basics.
Being on the ground floor added to the disruption. Delivery drivers frequently knocked on our window to deliver packages for upstairs residents, and visiting family had no way to alert us they’d arrived, as there was no doorbell.
What’s most troubling is the landlord’s complete unwillingness to acknowledge or offer any compensation for the extensive issues we encountered. Given the lack of responsiveness, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality, this flat was not worth the price and did not meet basic expectations for a comfortable stay.
- Nadeeshani (7/5): Good -
- Amina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelise (10/5): My stay at this property was a great experience the host was very accommodating and left us with a lot of utensils we we - i love the utilities at the property for me and my guests, we were left cleaning utensils, glasses, plates, soap etc… The property was great however i noticed a plug hanging off the wall and a flimsy drawer
- Jaakko (7/5): Its okay - Yleisilme asunnossa siisti. Helppokulkuinen bussilla. This was far away from stunning.... In real world flat is okay and nothing else.
We asked to get beds separeted and this was promised to us but no...
There was 4 of us like we recevated but only for the 3 person have towels etc.
Owner helped us by messages nicely but we have to find keys for the towels by self and also make a good quess which are clean. There was in every bag wet towels which was dirty... Not good
Then we choosed that i will share my towel with my son.
Apartment was clearly also In renovation
- Mike (3/5): Terrible property. Far from stunning. - The initial price and location for our needs. The advert said stunning and the pictures looked nice. We arrived and was immediately met with a huge amount of rubbish in the front garden area with litter across the path. We entered the apartment and it looked nice. We looked at the rear garden and it was a bombsite. Definitely unusable.
Looking around the property as we always do, various cupboards were unlocked and held a horrendous amount of old junk. The doors should have been locked if they wanted to store it.
In the morning my colleague sat on a kitchen chair and it collapsed. He ended up on the floor and hit his head against the wall. Looking at the chair, it was very obvious that the bolts holding the frame were broken and the heads were missing. We checked other chairs and another was loose and the other two were ok but still not 100% tight.
We upturned the chairs and took images of the faulty chairs.
We reported it to the owner and he replied that the chairs were not faulty as we stated. We are both engineers and I think we would know what broken bolts look like!!! His message response was not ideal to the problems. If he had apologised in a normal way, then we would not have issued this comment. His attitude did not help.
