• Dean (10/5): Excellent little beach house - Staying at the Shack was an excellent experience. Everything was super clean and everything was provided which made our trip very enjoyable. The Shack was also walking distance to the beach and we had easy access to town. I highly recommend staying at the Shack especially if you are planning on taking your little pet doggo with you as they will have a great time in the large backyard

• Tom (8/5): We enjoyed it despite the minor limitations - location, pet friendly, good fire The place was listed as 'well stocked' but there were only teabags...no coffee, milk or any breakfast supplies. One bed was made without a top sheet and the ceiling fan in that bedroom did not work.

• Christine (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful stay for visiting beach - The Shack was cosy, with all amenities required, comfy beds, equipped kitchen, hammock for book reading, aircon for afternoon hiding from the heat (our stay had hot weather) close walk to the beach, and an excellent yard for a happy dog. Location is very quiet as no passing traffic.

• Sharon (9/5): Lovely for a short quite break, great location close to beach, very clean and tidy & pet friendly! - Lovely little shack, very clean, lovely location, short walk to beach, very dog friendly, great verandah/patio area. Would come stay again. Unfortunatley beds were very hard so not very comfortable. The couch was very low and not comfortable and the dining table chairs are sinking in so again not very comfortable. Needed more blankets too.

• Catherine (9/5): A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful environment. Definitely recommended. - The location was excellent. Near the beach, wetlands and walking trails. Very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The living area was well furnished. Great shower and laundry facilities. The bathroom and laundry were combined but this was not a negative. Excellent covered and protected outdoor area with plenty of seating and a BBQ, and a large, safe back yard for our dog. The hosts had thought of everything to provide a happy stay. The couch in the lounge room was not comfortable.

• Akemi (8/5): Amazing location - The location was excellent, and the place was clean and very relaxing.Since the cleaning fee is A$192, I felt that staying only one night wasn’t worth it. Next time, I plan to stay for a longer period. I think it would be clearer to use photos that reflect the listing description, showing two bedrooms with one king-sized bed and one queen-sized bed, rather than one of the photos showing two beds placed side by side. While it was my responsibility not to verify this beforehand, it did make it a bit challenging for three female friends to decide on sleeping arrangements with only two beds.

Spacious backyard for your dogs to enjoy or you can even sit outside under the patio or enjoy laying in hammock listening to the birds. It’s close walk to the dog beach and just a short drive to the main beach, SO BEAUTIFUL!. overall we loved our stay and would love to have stayed longer if we could!

The house was immaculately styled, and the deck area was very useful. Wish we stayed longer to use the fire pit! Minor - we needed to put a log in front of the gate to prevent the dogs going under.
