Guest Reviews
- Anonymous (10/5): A beautiful location close to everything. - Great location, feels isolated while being close to Halls Gap. The property itself has space to wander a bit as well. The Off-Grid setup is fantastic and we were plenty warm all five days with the battery never dropping below 60%. Lack of fire safety equipment. Everything was very dry, I travel with a shovel and fire extinguisher but having one on the property would probably be wise.
- Delneshin (9/5): A serene getaway surrounded by wildlife - A wonderful experience of a relaxing stay close to wildlife with great facilities. The hot tub was the highlight, along with stargazing at night from bed. It was amazing to see kangaroos and rabbits passing by the cabin, and flocks of cockatoos flying in the morning and at sunset. This was the relaxing getaway I’d been wanting for so long. I never got used to the composting toilet. I knew it was an off-grid cabin, but I didn’t expect it to be so unpleasant!
I wish there had been an axe to chop wood for the hot tub.
- Demi (8/5): Very good - Waking up in the morning with the most beautiful view of the Grampians and all the wildlife just outside the window. The outdoor bath was amazing and easy to use
- Smith (9/5): We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Staff were exceptional at answering and providing hel - We loved how close it was to the town, very private, cozy environment that really made it feel like home. N/A
- Sarah (8/5): Great little Grampians Getaway - Perfect location, secluded with great views of grampians and starry sky. The upstairs bed was beautiful and cosy. kitchen facilities, outdoor bath and fire pit also wonderful. I think the hard bench seat is a bit uncomfortable after awhile and no other places to sit, fortunately we had no rain and we’re out a lot. The main bedroom gets very cold. the split system heater doesn’t seem to reach the bedroom, so if you like being warm in bed go for the upstairs option. I didn’t love the eco drop toilet but that’s something I should’ve looked into further before booking! shower and hot water is great however. Our wood fire container was empty so needed to find smaller piece for the bath ourselves other logs were under the deck for fire pit.
- Euan (9/5): It’s an eco lodge people so that means if you want a unique experience this is unbeatable - Seclusion and simplicity like an outdoor nature bath and watching the moon track across your bedroom. Toilet smell (but it’s an eco lodge so bring a candle and you’ll be fine).
- Hayley (8/5): Very good -
- Maryanne (9/5): Superb - Beautiful isolated spot, lots of wildlife. Close enough to Halls Gap to get a morning coffee..
Being able to lie in bed and look at the stars was the highlight and we were so lucky with clear skies.
Beautifully appointed, off grid luxury.
All instructions were precise and accurate. A tea towel would have been useful :( otherwise perfect for 2 people. The bed upstairs would really only be suitable for children. There were just the two of us but would be a bit of a squeeze with more.
