• Sally (10/5): Staying at La Porte Rouge was the highlight of our visit to Belgium - Brilliantly renovated. Great location - near main square. Really appreciated the welcome station/honour bar on arrival. Very well equipped. Great comms with the owner. The only tiny thing was the poor water pressure in the shower.

• Antoinette (9/5): Prim locatie voor bezoek aan Oudenaarde en Vlaamse Ardennen - Prachtig stijlvolle inrichting met prachtige keramiek uut eigen atelier. Ligging prima bij de markt en toch in rustige straat. Pincode entree werkte niet maar probleem werd snel opgelost.

• Kenneth (10/5): Een uitstekende locatie voor een verblijf in Oudenaarde. - Zeer dicht bij de markt, maar toch geen last van mogelijk nachtlawaai. Het huis was ook voorzien van alles hetgeen je nodig hebt bij een kort verblijf. De locatie zorgt er natuurlijk voor dat parkeren aan de locatie zelf quasi onmogelijk was.

• Watson (9/5): A fabulous property in a fabulous town ♥️ - Perfect location, right off the square. House is in excellent order, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Great bike storage facilities Very comfy bed Neighbours a little noisy in the night, but can't blame the owners, obviously. Parking a little tricky, as spaces scarce and tariff not too user-friendly.

• T (10/5): Prachtige, authentiek en op een mooie locatie. - Prachtige nette en complete woning met een prachtige ligging in het centrum van Oudenaarde.
• Veerle (9/5): Het was een magnifieke plaats, comfort en alles was op wandelafstand mogelijk. - Ligging en comfort waren ideaal, mooi verzorgde kamers en ruimtes, ook een binnentuintje met dit mooie weer was welkom! Vaatwas kregen we niet in werking maar dit zal bekeken worden.
• Cristina (7/5): - Ottima posizione della casa, casa molto pulita e accogliente Le scale interne della casa molto strette e molto ripide, una camera non ha il bagno al piano e di notte è molto pericoloso salire e scendere quelle scale per andare in bagno. All'interno della sala/cucina non c'è un tavolo dove mangiare tutti insieme, è presente solo nel giardinetto esterno. Il parcheggio sulla strada davanti a casa è a pagamento dopo le prime 2 ore e non era specificato nell'annuncio, il primo giorno abbiamo preso la multa.

• paul (9/5): - Prima locatie, zeer fraai interieur. Alles heel schoon. Hoewel we er geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt, was de goed gevulde koelkast een mooie geste. Geen gehoor op verzoek latere uitcheck, ook telefonisch niet bereikbaar. Geen instructie om de tv te bedienen

• Mike (10/5): Beautiful little find in Oudenaarde. - Nice little house in the centre of Oudenaarde. great location to cycle the hellengen. it has 2 bedrooms which are really comfortable. a nice little cycle room as you go in the front door. easy to reach free parking close by. great kitchen facilities. really close to the square and the local restaurants. simple entry into the property and the hosts were extremely good in terms of contact. picking straws here. the stairs are really steep.

The house itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, and located right in the heart of the city, making it a perfect base for exploring. Every corner of the home reflected meticulous attention to detail, from its spotless cleanliness to the thoughtful touches throughout. Equally impressive was the communication with the host, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I reached out a few times with questions, and each time received a prompt, friendly, and helpful response within seconds. It was clear the host genuinely cared about making our stay as pleasant as possible. This level of service, combined with the home’s outstanding qualities, made for a stay that was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommended!
• Sotiriou (9/5): Beautiful house ,great location - very clean,very cozy and well equipped and just at the center of the city I wouldn't recommend it for a family with very young children or people with mobility problems.....difficult interior staircase!!!
• Teresa (10/5): Marvellous - Bike storage was fantastic (we were in Oudenaarde for Retro Ronde). Hospitality fridge was e very nice feature. Great enclosed outside courtyard at the back. Very close to the town square. On-street parking was always busy, but easy to drop off and load, and free car park a very short walk away. Basically fantastic. Not a problem for us, but the stairs are very steep and not carpeted. They're original, so let's not blame the host! Just be aware that this maybe not the place for anyone with mobility issues.
• Maureen (10/5): We came to visit family and this house made the perfect base. We were able to travel around the area easily and were ta - Everything. I think this is the best equipped property I have ever booked. Extremely well presented, clean, comfortable and homely and in an excellent location on the edge of the town square just 10 minutes walk from the station. Plenty of places nearby to eat or go for coffee and plenty of places to buy provisions to cook at home. We were lucky that the weather turned out better than expected and we were able to eat outside in the garden. Henri checked that we had arrived safely There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

• Tom (10/5): Perfect small period house just off the square. - Quaint renovated house in central Oodenarde. Fantastic to have a bike room for cyclists like us. Free parking 2 mins away, and easy to drop off/pick up. Very large “mini” bar! The only caution is about the steepness of the first flight of stairs, which is an original feature.
• Vermeiren (9/5): Great stay, awesome house! - When we arrived, we couldn’t believe what we saw. It was rather big and pretty luxurious. It is really I nice house in the centre of Oudenaarde. The only downside were the chairs and the table outside. They were pretty low quality. The wood wasn’t solid.
