Guest Reviews
- Ashleigh (10/5): A family home shared with other families that bring families closer together - Location was great! The house itself was beautiful the area was a quiet court and the views from the nature walk were stunning! The animals were just our favourite! Not much to be honest if I had to pick on something it would be literally a power point location in the bathroom which was not ideal.
- Rebecca (10/5): Gorgeous, fun filled farm stay - Beautiful property and house, spa was lovely and the kids had fun feeding the animals! Great stay and we will be back again to enjoy it Might need to update the animal feed bucket as I did cut my hand on a bit that fell off when opening it.

- Rojani (7/5): - We truly had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed
every aspect of the property—the beautiful surroundings, the thoughtfully
designed spaces, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made our visit very special.
We were especially impressed by the comfort of the bed, particularly the
mattress and pillows, which provided us with such a restful night's sleep.
Thank you once again for your hospitality. We look forward to the opportunity to
stay at your lovely place again in the future. The spa was very dirty which we could not use. We did ask it to be cleaned but the cleaner told it was very cold for her to get into to change the filter.

- Jackie (10/5): A wonderful place to connect as a family - The house was beautifully furnished, comfortable and cozy. The surrounding acreage was wonderful and the kids loved the animals. We all enjoyed the spa after dinner and it was big enough to fit us all in. The beds were super comfy and the woodfire was an added bonus. It was a wonderful place to connect as an extended family and share in celebrating a milestone birthday. Husband/Dad/Poppy's 60th Birthday. We would definitely return. The chemical smell from the spa was exceptionally strong and lingered in bathers even after being washed. The experience though was awesome.
- Tamara (10/5): Will definitely be visiting the area and staying at this property again. - We really enjoyed our stay. The communication with the property owner was excellent and made everything easy from start to finish. The accommodation was very clean, spacious, relaxing, and well set up, especially the kitchen which had everything we needed. The animals were a lovely bonus and added to the overall experience. A great place to unwind — we would happily stay again.

- Sudarshan (10/5): - Spacious and great for a group of friends trying to have a relaxing getaway. The farm behind the house experience was a must experience thing to try. Feeding the animals and looking forward to get the egg from the pen was exciting. Overall it was a great relaxing experience.
- Dulari (10/5): Was skeptical at first. But truely a beautiful stay. Had the most enjoyable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, spa, the anima - The location, cleanliness and the breathtaking views Here and there issues

- Reid (9/5): Perfect - Instant wow as I entered An extra toilet would have been nice with 9 people
- Luisa (8/5): -
- Kristin (7/5): Wonderful access to farm animals and natural surroundings. - As many others have said the appeal was the farm stay and access to engage with the animals. The property was tired. Water damage and holes in the ceiling in the living room and bunk bedroom. Although the host shared extensive information about the property prior to arrival it would have been good to know we needed matches or a lighter for the fire. Shower was mouldy and many comments about the 'well equipped kitchen' many of these items were not clean and no bbq as advertised.
- Bec (8/5): Gorgeous farm stay. - The house was gorgeous! Very lovely set up, clean and wonderful views N/A

- Summons (10/5): We loved it and would come back again.. - We found the house very warm and inviting. Comfortable beds, clean towels + amenities all round. The chickens, sheep and deer were a delight to have there.. indoor fire place to keep the house warm or weather dependent a lovely outdoor fire. We loved our one night stay there! Walhalla is just a few minutes down the road lovely place for a weekend away.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (10/5): Farm cosy fun! - Quirky, cosy, modern. We loved the farm animals!
- Sadhana (9/5): Wonderful property, outdoor spa in shade and farm animals. Only 15 minute drive to Walhalla for tour - The outdoor spa was the deciding factor choosing this property, the farmstay animals were great, suit young children right through to our teens girls. Beds super comfy, spacious and plentiful. Kitchen very well stocked, clean, but some champagne flutes be lovely and coffee pods to go with the pod machine.
- Thenuki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chayeh (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable. The kids were excited to come see and feed the animals. We didn't see the goats at all and only one sheep came along to say hello. They were quite disappointed.

- Tenielle (10/5): Could not recommend Wally’s Edge Farm enough! Absolutely loved our stay here. - We loved so much about Wally’s Edge Farm. The fireplaces (both indoor and outdoor), the hot tub, the old tractor for the kids to play on, the farm animals, fresh chicken eggs, close proximity to Walhalla and Baw Baw. The kids had an absolute ball, could have stayed for many more days.
- Russo (7/5): Good - "Due to circumstances beyond the owner's control, we experienced a power outage during our stay."
- Sartika (10/5): Great location, love the animals and the views. Host very prompt with our requests too. - Kids love feeding the animals. The property is well taken care of and very clean. My eldest love the fireplace. The aircon remote was broken which was not the host fault.
- Solita (10/5): Great little family staycation, will be back! - We had a great time at Wally’s edge. We were two little families that stayed for 3 nights, great little staycation. We made forever great memories feeding the animals and went exploring around the backyard into the lush green forest. Loved having the fire place on during our chilly nights and enjoyed great company whilst the kids slept in their bunk beds peacefully. The space of the house was lovely and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with basics and even spices! Owners were absolutely amazing for personally sending out a well detailed welcome message. Even checked up on us whilst we had a power outage for 9hours.
Overall our children made the best memories together and as a parent we wanted to achieve simply just that!
What more could you ask for!
- Richa (9/5): Amazing experience would like to enjoy the outdoor during summer - We really enjoyed our stay in the property it was a clean property with everything available for a comfortable stay. Kids really enjoyed the friendly goats and feeding them. Does not having any shops nearby so you have to plan everything in advance before you reach. Wouldn’t say don’t like but just to be aware of
- Albert (7/5): Snow birthday holiday - The place is nice with good facilities. Big parking space. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi very much. Good hot water supply. Very nice area. Only 1 out of 3 rooms has heater and the heater in the living room isn't working. It's freezing cold inside the house.
- Pinto (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing time with family and friends at Wally's edge . The house was super cosy, very spacious and clean. Beautiful place to just relax and view the beautiful nature. Kids loved the farm animals and collecting fresh eggs. Overall, we just loved it.
- Annie (10/5): Winter bushland getaway! - We loved our stay. It was peaceful, surrounded by nature and so many cute little animals to find. We went up gully walk and went into the bush for a little walk. We saw wombats and kangaroos and all sorts of insects that my little one found cool but I did not.
The home was warm, the fire roaring and just ideal for a winter getaway. Not far from bawbaw it was a perfect stay.
There was actually everything stocked there. Apart from milk and perishables they had everything, butter, condiments, oil. Cooking intensive and a kitchen fully stocked with all the things you would need.
The couches were perfect for an evening read and just so comfy by the fire.
We loved it.
I laughed especially hard as I watched my husband cash one of the escapee chickens around the yard for well over 20 mins and then we had to call for help only to find out that the little bird would stay on the property and not to worry!!
I loved that the owners gave us so much info. Where to eat, where to go, how to feed the animals, what to watch out for ect. It was really in detail and really helpful.
What a great time. That I couldn’t stay for the whole of winter.
- Suzie (9/5): Superb - The house was nice. We loved the decor.
The shower was really hot with good water pressure.
The beds were comfortable. We loved the animals and fresh eggs. The spa was great.
We enjoyed bbqing on the deck and eating breakfast in the morning sunshine. We weren't aware that the spa took hours to heat up. We wished that someone turned it up before we arrived or told us to turn it on as soon as we got there. Because of this we only got to use the spa for one night instead of two.
The matches were damp and wouldn't light (for the fireplace)

- Chompoonuch (1/5): Bad -
- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional -

- Dang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ranting (10/5): I want to say thank you to the owner for creating such a beautiful place. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in -
- Prisca (10/5): Little Piece of Paradise - The animals and the view of the valley were the highlights. The house is super cosy and it reminded me of our own home. Long chats and board games by the fireplace were memorable. The electric bbq. It's not hot enough to cook the right steak. But this is a small detail. Not complaining 😀
- Monique (10/5): A wonderful farm stay with beautiful views not too far from Mt Baw Baw -
- Baida (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanuja (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house with all amenities and extra Farm stay touch. My kiddo just loved the animals. Property is well maintained and clean. Nothing
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - This was a great place to spend a long weekend.
Communication was detailed and clear.
There was plenty of room to accommodate kids and adults. Had all amenities needed, including the woodfire stove for a cool winter's night (and a bit of ambience).
The kids loved being able to engage with the animals, feed them, and collect eggs from the chickens for their breakfast. Close to Walhalla for a train ride and delicious pub dinner.
We would visit again.
