Ran (10/5): Exceptional - Very cool Japanese house in a local neighborhood away from the tourists. Gave us a taste of local life. Very comfortable and we'll equipment all around. Location is far from pretty much everything.

It’s really value for money! - We liked that we had so many rooms to choose where we could sleep and also the accessibility to the JR line. The presence of the washing machine that we could use was also very helpful. We also liked how responsive and helpful the owner was. I would have given this the 10-star rating if it werent for the aircon in the kids’ room. The ony problem we had was the aircon in the kids room would drip on the bed when it’s turned on.

The location was great, 8-minute walk to Ootsuka Station and a bit over 10 minutes to the lively Ikebukuro district. The house itself is spacious and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The key handover process was hassle-free. The only minor improvement would be having more cutlery and a dish towel for drying dishes. Overall, we highly recommend this place!
