Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (1/5): Don’t stay - I did not like this property. The photos are misleading We were kept awake by a beeping sound every 30 seconds from a tripped fire alarm next door. The owner refused even a partial refund. We ended up moving to another place so we could get a decent night sleep.
Also - the couch was horribly stained. The bed was ridiculously soft. There was no air flow through the apt. A terrible stay.

- Jada (1/5): The worst booking experience I’ve ever had a horrible nightmare and complete waste of money. - This was by far one of the worst properties that I’ve ever stayed at this property does not have air condition. Please keep in mind that it is 90° outside, so the apartment is even hotter and humid. It was very hot and humid. These were unlivable conditions . The apartment was not clean up to par and appeared nothing like the pictures. The apartment appears to be very old upon arrival. There was no Wi-Fi whatsoever in the property manager stated that sometimes the Wi-Fi works and sometimes it doesn’t but there’s nothing he can do about it. It’s a Spectrum problem. Because this is your rental property and your Wi-Fi that you advertise as having THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM! Considering this property is advertised as free Wi-Fi in the property cannot ensure that guests Our provided Wi-Fi is false advertisement. Once you arrive at the property, the property manager would then stop replying to all your calls and text about concerns of the property, very unprofessional. The outside of the complex smelled like urine and the neighbors above this apartment complex were very loud and had a crying baby all night long. This is by far the worst property I’ve ever stayed at please avoid staying here and dealing with these individuals by all costs. 1. Cleanliness
2. no air conditioner,
3. horrible smell
4. loud neighbors
5. no Wi-Fi
6. poor communication from property manager,
7. humid
8. unclean furniture
9. Old property.

- Kari (10/5): Would stay again as this place was very comfortable and the location was perfect. - The location was perfect! Had a procedure at Cedar Sinai Hospital. Literally could have walked to the hospital as its only a few blocks away. The place was very roomy, clean, easy access. We were able to walk just a few blocks to eat at a variety of places. Only complaint was being downstairs we could hear everything from the upstairs tenants.
- Julie (6/5): Location was great and apartment was a cool, vintage one, but the shower did not work (luckily there was a separate tub) - The location was great for an event we were participating in early each morning. The response from the hosts was quick until we were there and had issues. Received no response whatsoever. Messaged via text thru Booking.com and also by calling host posted in the unit on the wall with the Rules. Host seemed annoyed and not the correct person to contact. Only response we received was one from a message service company 3 hours after our inquires made on Booking.com on Friday night, stating that they would forward our message and someone would get back to us on Sat. By the time we checked out on Sunday morning, we still had not been contacted back. Very poor communication! We were trying to understand why the sofa bed wouldn't open up and also why the entire couch was wet, as if it had been too recently cleaned. I guess having all the pillows lined up along the top edge fo the couch (as you can see in our photos) should have been an immediate indication of this. We planned to use the sofa as a second bed, so we had to get blankets out of our car to cover the damp cushions in order to sleep there. We had hoped to eventually get some explanation or compensation for things not being usable, but never heard back from the host. Didn’t want to write a bad review, but…we did wait several weeks before posting this, giving the host plenty of time to make things right.
- Tasnia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mona (1/5): RATS! DO NOT BOOK. Place is a scam and someone’s dirty place. Door latch was broken. - Nothing! Do not book. RAT TRAPS! Manager was called and asked that we speak with the exterminator. Baited RAT trap was set in plain view in laundry room. We refused to stay and the owner disregarded all requests to cancel and refund us our money. We refused to stay here. DO NOT BOOK. Customer service also did nothing to help us.
- Noemi (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and clean!
- Dejan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seba (8/5): Very good -
- Love (5/5): Needs a lil TLC - I like the idea of staying in a private unit, cooking breakfast, washing our clothes and soaking in the tub.. The shower paint was pealing so this is unresolved. The floors were uneven but that's ok. The unit was aged but seemingly could have been more crisp looking as it appeared online. There was no working AIR CONDITIONING, which was the greatest drawback leading to my request for a full refund due to the advertisement stating there was AC. We couldn't stay because box fans were not going to accommodate our cooling needs. I'm still waiting on my refund.. Nice staff.
- Michele (8/5): Great location in Beverly Hills, large apartment that suits 2 people. - Location was great. Beverly Hills has a lot to offer and the apartment was close to everything.
You really need a car to get around in Los Angeles. Luckily we have been many times and my husband navigates the fast pace of the L.A. roads well.
The neighbourhood was quiet, full of people out walking and dog walking.
The apartment was large and spacious and it was a welcome relief having the washing machine and dryer, especially after two weeks in England before landing in L.A. The apartment was clean and had fresh bed linen and towels.
There was a fan in the lounge room that didn't work and the property manager sent a handyman out to fix it, which he did. The handyman also unclogged the drain of the shower. We didn't like that the upstairs apartment had a "paper thin" ceiling (us), floor (them). We could hear them tromping up and down at all times of the day.
There was a strange smell outside the door of the apartment. Luckily it was just outside and not inside.
The bathroom could do with an upgrade as the floor of the shower was peeling off and clogging the drain.
The furniture was adequate but could do with a more comfortable couch in the lounge room.
- Lesley (4/5): Good apartment and good location but wouldn't stay again - The apartment itself was large and had some amenities for cooking etc which we did not use. The location is good, it probably isn't quite Beverly Hills but is right on the boundary. It is right in between West Hollywood and Beverly Hills so is a good base for seeing LA. The host contacted us after we left the property to ask us if we took the parking pass. We didn't know there was a parking pass and actually received a parking ticket outside of the property which was completely our fault. We were contacted by 2 people, one who said they were the property manager and the other from Airbnb. Considering I had booked with booking.com it was a bit odd to find out my details had been passed along to a third party (both my telephone number and email). They didn't believe that we had not taken the pass and I had to send proof of my parking ticket to settle the matter. On top of this, the upstairs neighbours were very loud. I don't think they were going out of their way to be loud, I think the issue was simply the floorboards. As mentioned in some other reviews, the noise wasn't a huge issue but they did tend to be quite loud at night. If you are a light sleeper this could be annoying.
- Irina (5/5): Passable - Very stinky unfortunately, but very convenient location and parking
- Lance (10/5): book it now! - was cool and spacious, a tv for the euros aswell loud sounds from oztside sometime
- Toyesh (8/5): Decent - Location Bathroom needs to be upgrade
- Christopher (10/5): Great location if you want to see the Central LA sights - Property manager was welcoming, provided quick replies to questions. Location was great for getting to and seeing the places that we wanted to. It was a West Hollywood location, while one could argue that it is walking distance to Beverly Hills this is false marketing by 3 blocks...
- Grace (1/5): The property is nice, but the management is terrible. Avoid needing to deal with them at all costs. - The property itself is very nice and spacious, air-conditioned, and relatively clean. If I didn’t have such an unpleasant experience with the management team, I would have rated this apartment close to 10 stars rather than the 1 I am giving it because they do not deserve more business. I was told to pay an extra $92.56 for an early 11 AM check in, so I paid via PayPal. When I arrived at the property, the apartment was filthy (towels and bedding all on the floor, dirty bathroom, etc.) as if clearly no one had cleaned. When I contacted the property manager, be was barely apologetic and said “you’re there pretty early”, while chuckling, as if he had no clue about my payment for an early check in. Someone else on the management team then said the cleaners would be there once they were done finishing a different property. I waited in a dirty apartment with all of my luggage, unpacked, sitting on a chair, waiting for them to come hours later. I end up going out to get something to eat with all of my luggage with me and then coming back to them still cleaning the apartment. If I was immediately refunded this fee for a service that I paid for and did not receive, then I would not be leaving this review. However, the seller is proving to be shady and deceitful. I have been asking nonstop for a refund and for over 3 days now and they just say that their sales team needs to discuss it and no one has issued a refund. I even requested the amount from the seller on PayPal, so all he would have to do is accept the request and give me my money back. It’s a shame, as the property itself is lovely, but the terrible management has made this short trip an absolutely insane headache. If you decide to stay here, do not ever pay them money for an early check-in.
Also, the bathroom sink was completely clogged, to the point where I rinsed my hands for the first time and the sink stayed full of water until the next day. I used the kitchen sink for my entire stay, which was an inconvenience, and it was gross to look at a sink full of dirty water for the weekend.
- Shauna (9/5): Great location. - Location. Pretty interior. Nice local contacts. Can walk to great retauannts, shops, iconic areas of Los Angeles. Quiet street and neighborhood. Safe and clean. Thanks local guys! Booking.com. Pushy, confusing, lacking knowledge about law and house rules. Wish check in and out was more flexible without financial add on.
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Nikki (8/5): Great location, spacious. Noisy neighbors. - Excellent location. Quiet street. Spacious apartment and mostly very clean. Comfy bed. Checkin and checkout super easy. Property manager was friendly in all communications. Termite activity in the kitchen. Mold and mildew in the shower. No laundry detergent for the washer. Constant stomping from upstairs neighbor. No way to secure the front door from the inside, so anyone with the code could conceivably come in at any time.
- Susan (9/5): Great place to stay in LA - Large lovely 1 bedroom apt.
Some glitches with the front door code and sticky lock.
Well stocked kitchen
Comfortable beds
Great location.
Would return Dark apartment with very little natural light
- Marek (9/5): Superb -
