Guest Reviews
- Karen (6/5): Great location but lacking in some areas - The location was great It was a tired apartment that needs some love. The kitchen was lacking crockery and utensils.
Not even UHT milk for the morning on arrival for a coffee.
Handle on shower door missing.
Washing machine very noisy and the dryer doesn’t dry.
The list is endless.

- Kimberley (1/5): Will never stay here again - Good location Very dirty in all aspects, we had to wash all the sheets and steam the sofa with the iron, and the dryer did not even work, a very stressful trip!!
- HASSAN (1/5): Horrible stay- ruined our Sydney holiday as a family - Only location is good, the worst property I ever rented from booking.com- very unhappy Basically there is nothing good in this property, very misleading to say it has aircon, I dioscovered for at least a year clients complained about no aircon, infact therough communication witht he owner through booking.com a technician came to see the aircon and pretended that as if just happened out of order but look at the preveious feedback it is pre-existing problem and I feel the owner trying to save the power thus with each customer they say the same, they promised to fix the next day (infact they turned it off completely and place tape on the switch) but unlikely this will be fixed at any stage to save power, the rental unit is in misearable condition, no mainenance at all, dryer doesn't work, only one old mirror in the bathroom and no where else, torn old smelly curtains, old carpet, no ventilation in the bathroom area, no handle on the shower door, broken drawers in the main room, very untidy unit, I recommend not for anyone to rent it unless the owner looks after it. Eventually the owner send us a mobile aircon after I insisted as we couldn't tolerate the heat in Sydney and said will pay compensation but nothing ghappened or communicated further. the mobile aircon we have to keep the window open but we could not do that in the night time as insects will come in. Bad kitchen facilities.

- Laura (7/5): Good enough - Great location. Was pleasantly surprised as reviews weren’t great but it had everything we needed. Washing machine & dryer were great. Curtains in lounge are dirty & ill fitting. Need a new sofa- very uncomfortable to sit on
- Josh (10/5): Will stay here again in the future - It was in a great location just a walk away from food shops and clubs
Very clean and really good instructions from the owner
- Nathalia (8/5): - Good location
- Stéphanie deplanque (10/5): - Bien situé
- romy (10/5): Comfortable and convienient - The location was excellent - just a short stroll to chinatown and Darling Harbour - So many excellent eateries nearby. Loght rail just a few moments down the street.
Super convienient parking at the location, kids loved the pool.
Very clean and comfortable - will definately be booking again Everything was great

- Melissa (8/5): Very enjoyable stay, location is close to Darling Harbour and Chinatown. Perfect location for walkin - Location of property
Clean, neat and tidy
Full kitchen and laundry
Great shower
Comfortable bed An additional mirror. Only one in bathroom
Bedding for sofa bed
- Eden (7/5): It was okay - Location Access to get into the property and lift was dodgy
- Ron (9/5): Location, location - Great apartment, very clean, excellent location to the ICC
- Paris (4/5): Not a good experience - I don’t feel like this place is worth the money. They say there is a 3rd bed (being the sofa bed) but provide no actual bedding for it. No pillows no blankets. - bathroom sink flooded the floor
- no towel for 4th person
- parking is terrible
- fire alarm was flat
- heater didn’t work
- Tracy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Simon (1/5): Unfortunate set of circumstances that caused us to change accommodation - There was a roof The list is long but basically there was no water to the apartment. We could not contact the owner and had to move prior to the owner contacting us to say he will have someone look at it on the day we were planning to leave.
- Mark (7/5): Decent spacious apartment in a very central location. - Spacious apartment in a great location. Only one set of keys was a problem. Not everything worked - light bulbs, dishwasher. Also it would have been good to have a mirror somewhere other than the bathroom.
- Adwait (7/5): We were a bit disappointed and didn’t find it good value for money. - Location was convenient and though required some following up, parking was organised eventually. Dishwasher was out of order. Exhaust fan in bathroom not working. The air conditioner was not working properly and appeared to be overdue for service.
- Gabrielle (4/5): Disappointing - Close and convenient Only surface cleaned, surfaces were wiped down but not cleans properly
- Angelie (7/5): Good -
- Longkun (8/5): Very good -
- Miriam (6/5): Pleasant - Convenient location
- Ashleigh (8/5): Very good -
- Jaimee (8/5): Very good - Great location. Sofa bed was not comfortable and unable to be slept on but beds were fine. Easy to access.
- Sadie (3/5): Great location, poor condition, not value for money - Location was great - close to Darling Harbour Precinct, ICC, etc
Linen and towels were clean & fresh Curtains were hanging off, dirty didn't close properly. Carpets were stained and sticky in places.
Damp/mould on one wall.
Air conditioner extremely noisy.
Water pressure was none existent and not strong enough to fill a bowl and definitely not enough to shower.
Definitely not value for money at 479 for one night.
- Darren (5/5): Great location, unit was very “used” - Location was great Water pressure was terrible
Air conditioner was extremely noisy
There was left over food in the microwave from previous person
- Sandi (9/5): Superb - Beautiful little apartment, the host Jack was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Super close to everything. Kitchen was equipped with the basics needed to cook meals as well as supplying some herbs, spices, oils & sauces. Basic shower essentials were also provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc). Cleaning & laundry supplies also included. Pool & Gym facilities were great although the spa wasn't working at the time and the pool is not heated, however that didn't bother the kids. Would definitely recommend this place to stay. The air conditioner unit was very noisy but we got used to it. The water pressure throughout the unit was a little more than a trickle which was disappointing.
- Kieran (7/5): Good value and location, but some maintenance required. - Good location. Check-in process was straightforward. Easy walking distance to train stations and nearby attractions. Nice sized apartment and comfortable bed. Apartment a bit beaten up and could do with some maintenance. A small amount of work would go a long way here. Tried to get contact with property via phone call and message after we had checked in to request an extra key as we were a group of three. We received no response.
- Jayme (8/5): Very good -
- Karren (7/5): Great little get away. - The owner was friendly and helpful. The apartment was exactly as described. The apartment was clean and was comfortable for the 3 of us.
It was a great location, close to ICC and plenty of options for food. The dishwasher was not working for the entire stay, there was only one key. Security guard were not pleasant or helpful.
- Nguyen (7/5): Okay for a couple of nights in the CBD for 3 people - The apartment is in a very central location, easy to commute within the CBD. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable. The directions for getting the key could be clearer. It was a bit like treasure hunting as the small locked box was difficult to spot. The small bedroom was too small even for just one person with no ventilation unless you slept with the door open. When we arrived, the wifi wasn't working. However, I managed to call the property manager's cellphone and he resolved it quickly. Other issues that other reviewers have mentioned like the curtains have not been addressed either.
- Rebecca (6/5): Pleasant - Good area, easy access to main Sydney thoroughfare. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The size of the kitchen, living area and main bedroom were good
The owner was very good, Booking.com didn't send me the information for the key pick up, but we called up the owner and he was with us within a few minutes to help us and apologise for the issues Could have been more equipped with kitchen equipment.
Warning, the 2nd bed is in a rather "cosy" corner, I personally had no issues with it and I was staying in there, but not good if you were claustrophobic
- Kew (6/5): Pleasant - Booking.com had some technical issues so I didn’t receive the key collection information. The host was extremely responsive and delivered the keys to us within minutes. It could have been a little cleaner but we were overall happy.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kay (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Lynn (5/5): Presentation poor. Location good. Where is Athol beach and why did you ask? - Air conditioning not working on the first night. Very stuffy. I turned off and on the circuit breaker which then started A/C. Carpets very shabby. Curtains need rehanging missing many hooks. Dishwasher not working. Only two mugs provided for three guests and one of those was chipped. The L shaped lounge was very hard and uncomfortable.
- Rebecca (3/5): Not recommended - Handy location - aircon not cooling
- black mould in the laundry - extreme health hazard
- Curtains are falling off the tracks and have mould on them
- dishwasher is broken (whilst it's not advertised as having a dishwasher it is in the photos online)
- there is a clock placed in an odd spot to cover a hole in the wall
- the carpets are in need of redoing, would recommend a high traffic carpet for longevity.
- office converted to a bedroom should say cupboard converted - it just fits a single bed.
- Bill (3/5): Wouldn’t come again or recommend - Good location No cups or mugs for hot drinks.
The air conditioner didn’t work
Draws in bedroom were broken
A sheet was used to cover stains on the doona
Bathroom mirrors were chipped
Dishwasher didn’t work
One of the two kitchen electrical plugs didn’t work
- Jill (5/5): Unimpressed really - We liked that the washing machine worked along with kettle and toaster. Carpets dirty, curtains hanging off rails, no internet, difficulty connecting with Jack. Bathroom shower leaks onto floor, no mugs
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Priced right ,for two rooms with a view and balcony …. Main door was like one and a half wide was great, next to lots of restaurants just a quick walk to darling harbour
- Gyeonghyeon (10/5): Exceptional -
