Guest Reviews
- HCS (1/5): I definitely do not recommend staying here. I have been to Airbnbs much nicer but cost much less. - Other than location, NOTHING.
Accommodations: The air conditioning and water worked fine. However, there should have been at least a queen-size bed instead of a double bed especially if a couple is renting. A double bed is used when no other size can fit the room, however, there is plenty of empty space available in this room. The sleeper sofa was perhaps the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever used. I had to sleep on it, so my son could use the bed, and I barely managed three hours of sleep; this is completely unacceptable.
The chairs are odd sizes that do not fit beneath the table. We have previously stayed in a different apartments in the iFreses building, both with less space, that provided desk areas perfect for a computer.
The shower did not have a place to hold bathing supplies. Bad news for anyone with a bad back who hurts to bend down. We had to store all the soap, shampoo, and conditioner on the floor of the shower.
Amenities: Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was that we needed to request a container of hand and body soap plus shampoo. It was delivered, however, there was no conditioner provided.
After looking around, we found enough toilet paper, however there was not enough paper towels, trash can liners, or dish soap detergent for our week stay.
To save costs, we intended to eat more at home, but quickly realized that the place was not stocked with dishes, pots or pans, despite having a stove, mini stove, blender, and a hot pot. Your apartment needs:
- Scissors
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Large mixing bowls
- Working drain stopper
- Whisk
Additionally, there were few glasses and only four sets of cooking cutlery, which meant that we had to frequently clean them as we cooked, which was highly inconvenient. The coffee pot went unused as it was filthy; a specialized tool is needed to clean the coffee pot, so we ended up getting coffee at the nearby Starbucks. Furthermore, there was an iron but no ironing board, which I found quite strange. We also had to wash the towels ourselves.
Conclusion: I definitely do not recommend staying here. I have been to Airbnbs this year much nicer but cost much less. Given the lack of amenities, it should not have cost more than $250 for the week.
- Sylvia (1/5): Scam - It was a scam. I was given some me of the information to enter property but the front desk had no records or confirmation number for me. I immediately called my bank to report fraud. The above “22nd Floor” appears to be scammed by others besides myself.
