Guest Reviews
- Dawn (5/5): Not safe for young children! - The location was good- tube station nearby and a Sainsbury's opposite. The decor was nice and the apartment was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and tea, coffee, etc. was provided. The main negative was safety or lack of it. The apartment was on the 6th floor and had windows which opened up on to little balconies that didn't look particularly safe/ looked like they hadn't been cleaned or cared for for a long time. This wouldn't have been a massive issue if the windows locked but the windows/doors in the bedrooms wouldn't! We had young children with us so this was a big deal. I really don't think it's suitable for young children.
The apartment could definitely do with some TLC, a kitchen door was hanging off and the wardrobe 'sliding' doors didn't slide!
We stayed in December and no heating came on so we were freezing. There was nowhere, or we couldn't see anywhere to turn it on. The shower was luke warm. What would be really useful is an information booklet about the apartment/ area etc.
Communication from the host needs improving. On the day of our arrival I had to message the host asking how we checked in. I didn't hear back, my sister rang and there was no answer. The host did eventually respond with the information and photos of where to get the key but this should be done without having to chase!
- Abdullah (2/5): Very poor - The location is just good Check in was tiring and we had to wait in the rain and cold until the doorman opened the door, the apartment was not clean and the water tap was broken and it was not worth the price and I do not recommend living in it, and one day the key was forgotten inside the room which required us to wait outside for two hours until a replacement key was brought, and there was no cooperation from the owner of the apartment or the doorman
- Michael (10/5): Location, Location... did I mention Location!?!!? - Location, location, location! Food wise (restaurants) and markets (Coop and Sainsbury and a Tesco) are all on the same street or a 10 min walk (old Walmart that is now a Tesco). Easy to get to Earls Court station to get around London. The kitchen cabinets could be updated but all in all, it's a terrific place. The keycard will eventually work so don't worry about that. The first time I used it the red LED would flash and it would not unlatch the door. You have to try it a few times and it will open.
