Guest Reviews
- Christine (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (5/5): Pretty average- I would have expected that both situations noted in my previous answers would have been fixed in a compe - It was a compact but nice apartment in a high rise block. The hot water thermostat was turned down so far that the water was basically completely cold - if you ran it for about five minutes it would gradually warm up just enough to take a bracing shower. The staff sent a message about adjusting the temperature that was not helpful and then they took no further action to correct the problem even when advised the instructions didn’t work. No compensation was offered for the total lack of hot water.
Checking in was also an issue, having been sent incorrect instructions for accessing the apartment and then once I managed to speak to the manager on the phone I was sent a completely different set of instructions (that thankfully did work) but I was made to feel like it was my fault by the lady on the phone.
- Dwayne (1/5): Awful. - Nothing No hot water in the shower. No parking.
- Sharon (4/5): Disappointing - Very poor communication. Difficult to access property.
- Perry (10/5): Amazing city experience - First city experience for my farming family. Couldn't find a fault with anything. Everything was right at the front door, views forever, so quiet in the apartment even at the busiest times. Great facilities, so many things to do and see.Doing this again really soon.
- Tan (3/5): Good location, however as it’s not via the hotel, / - Location was good Wasn’t clean to standard, shower barely had hot water and we had to pay $60 for another towel…
- Donella (4/5): Unit needs MAINTENANCE ! Location is Great!! - The location is great. Cold showers, Cooktop wasn’t useable other than 1 burner. Microwave
didn’t reheat pasta after 3mins!
Tried contacting host via mobile, text message and via app! Eventually got hold of someone and was told they would have it checked and get back to me, no further contact!
Dust on tv and furniture, I cleaned the shower before using it. Hair care and shower gel etc was slimy, we moved it out of cubicle until leaving. Placed back as we found it.
Bedroom closest to bathroom had 2 mattresses stacked on top of each other with a headboard no bed frame/base - difficult for 2 people to sleep on
Different set of check out instructions sent to previously discussed.
- Cook (10/5): Amazing location, value for money. - Very clean, amazing location, value for money. The smaller bedroom had a mattress that was extremely hard, this is the only negative about our stay & may be fine for others!
- Sean (7/5): Good - I got to the hotel at 3pm as per instructions but did not get the email until 3:10pm. At that time I was in the hotel mailbox area where I had no phone reception. Once I got out of there and got the email, Mr wife thought I had been scammed. Then when I told her I was going to a 24hr store down the street she got mad. I got the keys but that whole experience ruined the night.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (9/5): Communication between reception and app communication not updated, as a result I didn’t receive updated details for keys - Very clean and tidy N/a
- Vony (7/5): Good - to have to pick up the keys at the convenience store 5 min walk from the building as we had a few bags with us and i was on my own with the kids.
also, we couldnt use the lift on check out as we had to leave the keys inside the apartment for check out
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (6/5): Pleasant - I liked the view. I didn't realise there was no parking included in the apartment. It would be good to make that really clear.
And there were stains on the carpet and curtain was broken on arrival and I felt nervous that I would be held resposible for that. I'm relieved that I wasn't.
I also stripped the beds when leaving and the mattress protector was so dirty. Covered in black hairs that were not mine. That was a bit yuck.
And the couch was super uncomfortable and has a sharp pokey wire sticking out of it which is a bit dangerous.
- Chelsea (4/5): Good location but terrible apartment - The property was in a good location The property was covered in stains, on the rugs, the walls and the sofa. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable and springs were sticking out of the sofa.
We did not have any hot water for the full duration of our stay and one of the blinds was broken in the bedroom.
Apart from the location, I would not recommend to stay at this property.
- Sara (2/5): Very poor - Location was right for our needs. It was complicated to pick up the keys from a different location (originally the incorrect collection details were sent which confused things). For three guests there were only two towels, one face washer, a floor mat and no hand towels. The couch was small and springs were sticking out. It was not adequate to sit on comfortably. The beds were poor quality. The room was dirty, the stools were stained and the walls were marked. The blind in the second bedroom was broken. There were bugs nesting in the top corner of the shower.
- Fiona (5/5): Disappointed - Good location close to the central mall. Nice kitchen area, good size fridge & washing machine provided. Stained furniture & carpets. Couch small, broken, hard & uncomfortable. The main bed was two mattresses put together. The front bedroom had broken blinds. Shower only warm water. Only one swipe & key provided, picking them up from a rude obstructive convenience store employee, was horrible.
- Orla (10/5): Exceptional - could be better with more than one key
- Chloe (1/5): Was trying to make a great stay for my 14yr olds birthday but I will not be staying there again - The area The place was dirty and unclean
- Rebecca (5/5): Could be much better - The beds were comfortable
Good location
Good communication from the manager. *See comment about towels
The swimming pool was very enjoyable The towels were old and tired. We complained and got better towels the next day.
The couch is literally falling apart. It's sunken in, and you can feel the springs when you sit down. They've put a cover on it to try to hide the stains and make it look more comfortable.
There are stains on the kitchen stools and on the lounge rug.
The apartment could benefit from a drying rack for dishes and a towel rack.
- Bailey (5/5): For the price per night, it was nowhere near amazing. It was very disappointing. - The location was good, right in the city, walking distance to everything you need The cleanliness was not great, smears on walls, finger prints on the TV. A hair was on the island bench.
The badly stained, uncomfortably low sofa should be taken to the tip.
The towels were ridiculously thin and lacked any luxury or plushness which you expect when staying somewhere. One bed was super hard and the other one was super soft. Neither were suitable for comfort. For the amount we paid per night, this was expensive and disappointing to say the least and certainly not amazing.
- Rachel (3/5): Disappointing - Location was ideal, right in the city - close to everything. Communication with owners was shockingly bad. Told conflicting information several times. Confusing and automated messages made no sense to my booking situation. The amenities in the room were average. For 2 people there was only 2 towels. No handtowels and only one washcloth. The dishwasher stunk something terrible, didn't like to think I'm eating off dishes from there. There wasn't a reception area as I was led to believe upon booking so there was nowhere to leave bags and explore after checkout. This is only suited for an AirBnB platform. Not what I was after at all for my holiday. Wouldn't reccommend staying here for my friends or family.
- Michael (10/5): A wonderful, central apartment that was fantastic value for money. - Wonderful location Getting access to the key!!!!!!!!!
- Henry (10/5): Very clean and tidy in a great location - Location was perfect
- Mymychan (9/5): Superb -
- Joan (8/5): Very good - Was very quiet
- Shona (8/5): Very good - Location was good, walking distance to city centre. Adequate size. Beds were comfortable. Host was punctual with responses to questions. No hand towels provided in bathroom, only one face washer. Sofa was very uncomfortable and stained. Found someone else's clothing in wardrobe drawer.
- Glen (8/5): Very good - It was all I needed to relax after work
- Fiona (9/5): We had a lovely stay at the apartment -
- Liz (4/5): Wont be back as nothing amazing about it! - N/a
Location fine No temperature knob on stove. No bedside table or lights in second bedroom.
3pm too late to pick up keys. Lockbox attached to numeroud others. Getting keys a joke like episode of 'escape room'.
Dishwasher filters clogged. So not working well. Plus to use dishwasher need more than 1 of everything, cutlery and plate wise.
Cutlery poor and mismatched that was expectation in the 50s not now.
Look at the flat as a guest would, not just as a money machine? You'll get people returning then.
- Ken (9/5): All round very happy ! - Super handy to the CBD, nice clean and modern, good views, nice hosts who kindly let us check in a little earlier - which was great after a long trip. Nothing really. Oh, maybe accessing the lockbox could have been easier, we struggled a bit to gain access to the lobby, but maybe we weren't using the intercom properly
- Leonie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alecia (7/5): Good - Location was great. The couch was in very poor condition and covered in stains.
We questioned if the bathroom had been cleaned as it smelled awful, the walls were all dirty and the dishwasher didn’t work, which would be fine if we were equips with more to to enable us to clean the dishes - a drying Rack, more than one dishcloth and more than one tiny tea towel.
- Suk (3/5): Poor - location check-in delayed, cooking facilities not functional, sofa broken, pillow cases dirty
- Barth (3/5): Location is idle but basic service was poor. - Location was idle and convenient Couch was very uncomfortable and very dirty.
Shower was dirty and smelly with fruit flies inside the shower also towels were dirty and old
- Joel (8/5): Very good -
- Tyler (2/5): Nice simple place, but check-in process is a joke (don't send them your ID) - The instructions to get into the propertly were vague, in the small print they also want you to send a picture of your ID to a random email address else they won't give you the code to one of the 4 lock boxes that have the apartment key in. A random person eventually took the box from me without saying a word and opened the lockbox and gave me the key, not a word spoken. Then when it was time to retutn the key as I didn't have the code I had to just leave it their mailbox and 2 weeks later they are trying to charge me $110 for it, even though at the time I told then the issue and where the key is and that it will all be on camera in the mailroom.
- Sarah (8/5): This apartment was perfect for a family of four while visiting the CBD! - The location was excellent and everything that we needed was in the apartment (washing machine, dryer, stove top etc.) A larger supply of dishwashing liquid and washing powder would have been useful.
- Jye (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mould (5/5): Poor Customer Service but Comfortable and Clean Unit - Comfortable beds with spacious bathroom and kitchen areas. Noone to contact directly when needed and no reception or customer service at site. Instructions not clear on how to get key; didnt get sent the pin number in the timeframe stated and had to chase it up. Key didn't work at 6.30am and was stuck in gym. Had to try to find a contact to let me out. Poor communication between booking agent and building managers.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): A fantastic apartment in a great location. - Location is wonderful.....very central The key collection was stressful.
- Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - Such a fabulous position and a beautiful view over the river, lovely apartment Liked everything
- Aquilina (9/5): Superb -
- Lakmal (8/5): Very good -
- Ed (6/5): Pleasant - None provided Documented instruction to access WIFI
- Luke (7/5): Great except for check in process - Clean/tidy The check in instructions pasted into the email were very difficult to read... The instructions image pasted into the email was of very low resolution and very blurry. Check in process was convoluted but may have been easier if I could actually read the instructions. I'm 40yo. Don't wear glasses and have very good eye sight FYI.
- Anonymous (3/5): awful and won’t stay here again. - good space when we got there the aircon wasn’t on and the room was 26 degrees. we tried to fix it but the controls kept asking for a code. I contacted the person who I had previously spoken with and she was very rude and said we were doing something wrong. we tried again and couldn’t fix it. we had to leave the room as it was too hot. we were offered compensation as we weren’t happy. we opened the windows to try and cool it down which worked. the next day when they checked the room they said the aircon was working and we wouldn’t be getting any compensation.
- Leigh (8/5): Great apartment, everything we needed. Spectacular views of Brisbane River and Botanical Gardens. - The property and amenities were fantastic. The views and location were spectacular.
The process to find the key lock box was very confusing, particularly after a long day of travel to get there.
The shower was not draining efficiently (have notified accommodation) so it was short showers so we didn't flood the bathroom.
Saying that, we would absolutely stay there again. We used the pool and the location was unbeatable. Thank you. Just the plumbing issue with the shower.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (8/5): Very good - great location clean and comfortable getting access to the apartment and late checkin although they did allow us to put our bags in the room early
- Dela (9/5): Clean modern apartment for two located in a great location, very comfortable, easy check in and would definitely stay ag - clean fresh and modern and great location for what we wanted
- Desanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cassidy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carissa (10/5): great location and easy check in made it a positive experience - ease of check In and location nothing
