- Chris (10/5): Amazing stay - Calm and relaxing Only the mozzies, but that's outside of everyone's control
- Honor (7/5): -
- glenys (6/5): Pleasant but could have been better - Quiet fully stocked Messy around tiny home. Poor access road to cabin. The blankets on bed not fresh cracked floorboards on floor
- Courtney (8/5): -
- Susan (9/5): Wonderful restful and peaceful stay! - Seclusion quiet and peaceful
The hosts were very welcoming. Paul greeted us with a smile late at night when it was wet and cold. Communication prior to arriving was wonderful. Nice small touches like offering a firewood bundle (small cost) and setting the fire perfectly ready to go. Unfortunately, the rain saw us inside but after a long day on the mountain the bed was amazing to rest and sleep on. The tiny stay was clean and fresh.
Thanks for a beautiful getaway! đ Little slim bedside tables would have been hand
- Christine (8/5): Cute, warm and comfy tiny home - Cute and comfy tiny home. Heating was excellent, as was the bed. As mentioned by the property the hot water seemed a bit finicky. This didnât worry us but we gave up on the idea of having a shower.

- Wei (10/5): Amazing experience. - Had a great stay and enjoyed the BBQ in Summer Lea. The host is very friendly and has assisted us in many ways. Nothing
- Rohan (9/5): Superb -
- Cassandra (8/5): Overall I enjoyed our stay at Summer lea. We will definitely visit again - The environment is nice. Love the nature and the host there at Summer Lea. Theyâre very nice and friendly. The property is very dusty and unclean especially underneath the bed. But itâs still acceptable other than that.
- Anonymous (6/5): Paul the host was great, very pleasant and helpful. Location to the lake wasnât what I was expecting. Overall probably q - Beautifully decorated, nice outdoor area. Aircon wasnât great at all, only about 22 degrees when we stayed but due to the glass of the cabin and being in direct sunlight it got way too hot inside. Aircon was rubbish, made it very difficult as we had a dog too. No shadey areas outside to sit in.
Lock on the door was incredibly difficult to use. BBQ also wasnât working properly and needed to be cleaned before use. The cabin is directly under a tree and so I spent most of the night listening to all the bits drop off the tree onto the roof which was quite annoying. Also bit further from the lake than I thought it would be from the pictures
- Melissa (10/5): Best place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. - Summer Lea is a cosy, clean and well-equipped tiny home. Paul and Cathy contacted me the day before to arrange the check-in process and promptly answered my questions about their amenities, which made it really smooth and welcoming. The house had all the listed amenities, which made our stay very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing time there surrounded by nature. We also requested for some firewood for an additional $30 to be set up and Paul kindly had it all ready to go for us.
Thank you, Paul & Cathy for a pleasant stay at your beautiful property. I highly recommend staying here for a getaway if you ever plan on stopping by the Mansfield area.
- Yue (8/5): Would love to come again for sure. - I really like how cosy, cute and warm this house is. The house is located near the nature, with BBQ, campfire available. The room is clean. The host Paul is helpful. He prepared us firewood after we said we want it. Full of tranquility and relaxation. Love it. The Eildon lake nearby is super nice. Also the Mansfield town;) My bf had a lovely birthday there. The door of the bathroom is a bit difficult to close and open. That's the only drawback.
- Latoya (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very friendly and helpful.
It was clean and welcoming .
- Navy (9/5): This is the perfect place to stay if you would like a break from hustle bustle city life. Enjoy the peace and quiet of A - We really like how all the essentials all fit within the tiny home. The wooden wall panels were a nice touch for privacy and we especially enjoyed the fire pit in front of the tiny house. Paul, our host was so friendly and accomodating. He prepared our fire pit for an additional $30. He also suggested some beautiful vineyard restaurants in the area with a view. Made our stay very comfortable and we definitely recommend this accomodation for a nice little getaway up in high country Victoria. Bearing in mind it is an eco friendly stay, the only thing we didnât like about the property was the ants inside the kitchen, bathroom and throughout the tiny house. I would recommend some sort of eco friendly ant/bug control device and more lights outside the tiny house as it was hard to cook on the bbq at night. A garbage bin outside the tiny house would have been great too.
- Rahul (10/5): I really loved and enjoyed the stay. Feels like living with the nature. Host was very friendly and helpful. - Beautiful stay in the woods, touch of nature and wildlife Tine little space. No wardrobe
- Leah (9/5): Superb - Having our own firepit was so much fun and enjoyed the bbq facilities. The bed was very comfortable with good heating for overnight. The WiFi was not reliable
- Jolanta (6/5): Pleasant - The fire pit
Land host Paul was amazing, accommodated early check-in, friendly, shared local knowledge The heater was very noisy, appeared to require servicing. The placement of the outside noisy split system unit was at the bead head, impossible to sleep with the fan vibrating at various frequencies throughout the night. Had to turn it off, but not ideal when the temperature outside is +6 degrees or less. Cold.
- Bindu (7/5): Good -
- Ziting (10/5): Highly recommend to ask for an open fireďźWe had an unforgettable night. - Paul is so friendly and gave us a lot recommendation about surrounding viewpoint and restaurants. Looking forward to return in winter.
- Susienow (8/5): Lovely weather in a lovely place. - It is a beautiful location, despite not being out in the middle of the bush as expected. The house is located under a set of beautiful gum trees, but these are known to drop limbs. Everything was clean and tidy. The host was lovely to chat with. The owners are undergoing some landscaping, which should be finished soon, which disrupted the view. There wasn't a place to sit inside, which wasn't a problem as we had lovely weather, but would be a problem in the rain.
- Cameron (10/5): amazing very friendly and caring hosts - everything nothing
- Daniel (10/5): Relaxing, quiet, enjoyable and highly recommend for a getaway. - Fantastic setup. The home was very nicely styled, the check in and check out was easy and the communication was fantastic.
Was offered a late check out when not asking due to me having a late check in. Cathy and Paul offered to assist with anything during my stay also if required.
Would highly recommend. Nothing - everything was fantastic.
