- Ja (10/5): Lovely comfy, cosy stone cottage close to picturesque main street and excellent hosts. - A beautifully presented stone cottage with an historic feel to it and all the mod cons too. Spacious, tidy rooms with dedicated decor that matched it's era. Location excellent with only a short walk through the park to the picturesque main street; Hosts were great and communication was A1.
- Sally (9/5): Superb -

- Pru (10/5): Visit family over Easter - Thank you Rob and Mel your little cottage was a joy to stay in. The cottage has everything you need for a short or long stay. Easy check-in code activated, no keys, great idea. The beds are comfy and all the mod cons to compliment the stay. The outdoor setting on the front porch was a lovely spot in the afternoon munching on a cheese platter, saying hi to the locals.
It is very close to the village walking distance where there are lovely cafes and pubs for dining. The back entrance to the supermarket is in the same street as the cottage, you can walk but it is a few blocks. There is a bottleo at the Pub.
Port Hughes is a few km from the cottage with great fish and chips just near the pier. We found nothing that wasn't up to scratch.
- Therese (10/5): Would stay again & recommend to friends - Loved the cottage it had everything you’d need even bread making supplies and a bread maker to play with! Loved everything
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bethany (8/5): Comfortable and peaceful. - Loved the door code - so simple to get in. Location was perfect. Couch was super comfy. Shower was excellent. Kettle was good (for that urgent cuppa while unpacking). Hanging space was good. Cleanliness was good. WIFI was good. Parking convenient. Liked the fact that it's a separate house with land, so well-separated from any neighbours. A few traps for the unwary - a shallow drain beside the drive (i staggered into that three times), a tiny step into the bathroom (came home with bruises under my feet from that one!) and a slippery bath mat. I'd chosen this house because it sounded like it would be suitable for my elderly and frail mother. As she's super-careful, it was only me that did the slipping and sliding, but if you're taking someone frail who's less aware, you might want to help them over those trouble-spots. The problems would be v easy to fix - a little slope at the bathroom door, a non-slip bathmat, and some gravel in the drain, so worth asking the hosts if they've made some tweaks.
- Jessica (9/5): Perfect base to explore lovely Moonta. Can walk to park, shops , supermarket and pub. - Great location, very comfortable, terrific hosts, many thoughtful extra touches. The air con and fans were essential for our visit during a heatwave. A great home away from home We loved everything about our stay.
- Daniel (9/5): Loved staying here - Great place! Located in the heart of town, it had everything to make for a comfortable stay. Clean and tidy and well cared for. Hope to come back again! Nothing not to like.
- Gail (9/5): A lovely peaceful stay, exactly what we hoped for. - Breakfast was taken at the Capella eatery just a block away, great. The only things we missed were a dishwasher and perhaps a queen sized bed in the front bedroom.
- Sue (9/5): A pleasure to stay in this charming cottage - A very comfortable home for a 4 night stay, it was very enjoyable to have seating out the front for pre dinner drinks or the same out the back. the bedrooms were very spacious, a great bathroom and full cooking facilities. Location was great to everything.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -

Stovetop when it worked Stove top when it didnt work. Our purchased King George whiting and fresh prawns that we went to Wallaroo to get couldn't be cooked. Our special meal was ruined.
Heating only front 2 rooms heated. Icey in kitchen, bathroom, toilet and other bedrooms. Insufficiet heating for the house.
Uncomfortable bed.
Disappointed because it was a geanological trip and Moonta was the reason for travelling to South Australia.
- Day (9/5): Superb -
- Day (8/5): Very good - Thank -you
- Susan (10/5): Loved it - No breaky provided. Expected and happy with that. We got our own. Location fabulous Nothing, lovely old house, really clean and comfortable
- David (10/5): Charming cottage -
- Pru (10/5): Home away from home - This cottage was comfortably furnished Andrew fitted out thoughtfully with all the things you need like wide range of kitchenware and cooking utensils, wifi and comfy couch. It also had all the things you didn’t know you needed until you needed them: sauce sachets, games, cloth napkins, couch on the porch. The house had even been decorated for Christmas as our trip included Christmas Day. This was such a sweet touch.
Highly recommend staying here to take a swim at Port Hughes, have breakfast at Nook and Nourish, drink or two at Sunny Hill Distillery and dinner at the Moonta Hotel. The Bond Store in Wallaroo is also worth visiting. Kadina is nearby… or you can just relax and enjoy the comfy house! ps. the Drakes on the main street is great- no need to pack an esky full of groceries! n/a
- Alec (7/5): Good - Everything Would have liked flyscreens on some windows to let fresh air in.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Annette (8/5): Perfect no fuss for a family stay interested in the water as well as the trails. - The location was perfect, close to a park and shops, could walk every where and drive straight to the heritage places we wanted to visit. we didnt have email while travelling so it would have been nice to get the key code to my phone instead of email.
The phone number we had is out by one digit so we rang the booking agent, and from there it was brilliant. the owner was very available and generous with her time.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Some warm rather than cold lighting in the kitchen.
- Rhiannon (10/5): Exceptional - It's amazing. It has everything and more ! Would definitely stay again!
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
