Guest Reviews
- Brigid (7/5): Spacious but pricey apartment in Stamford Hill - Clean, comfortable, spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and a big kitchen and lounge/dining area. Also a good roomy bathroom, and a washing machine and drying racks.
Owner was pleasant and professional to deal with - most of the time Beds were comfortable.
Apartment was centrally heated so was warm and dry, but you could open windows, and a door onto a small balcony. There were bus stops close by with a number of route options.
We liked the proximity to green spaces ie Clapton Common, and in particular, Springfield Park. The Jewish bakery around the corner was nice and there were several mini marts in the neighborhood. I didn't Iike that after a few days of toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets running out, we were expected to buy our own. For the quite high price we were paying, I would expect household necessities to be supplied for the duration of our stay.
I also didn't like that getting in was a hassle - the lock box was very difficult to find, the picture/instructions not clear enough. Quite stressful when you've just arrived after a day's journey.
Thirdly, I paid an extra £70 for a late check out but found that the fob key didn't work after 10am, so clearly the owners didn't bother to adjust the timing on it. This was extremely frustrating as we couldn't go out prior to leaving! And when I texted them for help, they said they'd look into it, but nothing happened. So I felt ripped off.
Overall the customer service was pretty reasonable; however, these apartments are owned by a business and you don't always get to communicate with the same person so they've no idea about the previous conversation. I call that rude.
- Laura (9/5): -
- Philip (8/5): As described - Apartment is great, clean and modern Finding the door key. The area is a bit rough
- Guest (8/5): Value for money stay if you want a comfortable stay for a family - Modern facility which is comfortable for children in particular infants. Particularly liked that feeding chair was there. The appartment had modern amenities. Only drawback was the journey from central London. It takes atleast an hour. There are several bus stops nearby but takes a while in connecting to the underground.
- Karen (9/5): A perfect base to attend concert at Tottenham Hotspur with a quiet retreat for family catch up - Spacious, comfortable beds Extra charge £35
- Enda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sian (9/5): Superb -
- Harry (10/5): would definitely stay again! - The location was excellent and the price was perfect for the quality!
- Sophia (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean, comfy, and had everything we needed couldn't ask for more!
