- Elisa (8/5): - Great position in a new building, the apartment is clean and fully equipped. Parking included. Too many procedures and approvals. If you don't have a roaming/internet connection on the mobile you can't receive the instructions to enter the building. Every single additional request has to be paid on top (ex. early check in and late check out) and they're confirmed only one or two hours in advance. Some issue with the payment with non-Canada/USA credit cards. They ask to do laundry and wash the dishes.

- DOMINIQUE (1/5): - Nous n’avons jamais pu pénétrer et avoir accès à l’établissement malgré nos nombreuses tentatives. Nous avons effectué à maintes reprises le nécessaire avec différentes cartes de crédit pour valider le waiver (caution)de 600€ mais sans succès sur leur site internet.
Nous avons du trouver une autre solution et se reloger au dernier moment dans un autre hôtel, et nous demandons bien entendu le remboursement comme nous vous l’avons déjà demandé au téléphone.

- Ellen (8/5): Comfortable and convenient. - The condo is right by the River Walk and 20 minute walk to downtown. It was comfortable, clean, well stocked kitchen, good air conditioning. Our check in was very difficult. The instructions were not always clear, but the hardest part was getting in the front door with luggage, getting to the elevator within 1 minute carrying luggage, food bags, etc. it took us 3 tries….going out and in, finally calling for help. When we got to the door of the rooms, the numeric code was in the instructions, but not that it was necessary to push the check key. And it took us a little while to even figure out how to start the keypad. Locking was not automatic and we figured it out, but again, no instructions. When we moved the car into the garage, there were 3 gates. We were not told to pass by the 2nd gate to find the third…..Check in was frustrating.

- Jim (10/5): Great location and effective communication with the host. - Great river front location in the Eau Claure area of downtown Calgary. Good communication with the host via text messages. I liked the secure underground parking and that we were able to walk to most of what we wanted to see or do in Calgary. Some quite minor things that I sent a text to the host about.

- Joan (5/5): Never again - We didn’t like the fact the we were told the day before we had to pay a security bond which put us in a very difficult position as I couldn’t make arrangements with my bank at such short notice when traveling from overseas to pay the returnable bond so had no alternative but to pay the none returnable bond.
I had no idea about the bond and at first thought it was a scam
Apparently this happens frequently when talking with the janitor and as to deal with people arriving not knowing about the bond.
I am sure they do the last minute notice so you just pay the none returnable bond.
Not happy with Booking.com because you must know about this issue and had other complaints.

- Mark (5/5): Great well located apartment with awful management. - Very well situated. Comfortable with all necessary amenities. The check in procedure was awful. We had huge difficulty communicating with the management who ran the apartment for the host Dominika. We were required, at the last minute, to choose between a non refundable over $200 in case of breakage or a $600 refundable bond . Not sure if the first option was an attempt at extortion or a Licence to break stuff. Neither appealed to us . Non of this was mentioned on the booking. com site . We had huge difficulty gaining access to the apartment.If there hadn’t been a concierge for the building, not related to the apartment, who went out of his way to assist, we would not have gotten in. We gave him a bottle of wine to say thanks. The Banff pass promised was not there and getting it was another hassle . If the management of the apartment was improved it would be an excellent place to stay.

Was close to the places we needed to be. Nice to be able to walk out the door and take a walk by the river.

I found it very rude to expect us to wash the towels, load tge dishwasher & take the rubbish out. You need to put drapes in living room, supply more bedding (blankets) & better pillows.

We were confused by the downloaded instructions to enter the apartment. It took several calls to an agency to sort things out.

- Cynthia (9/5): A cozy, enjoyable stay in downtown Calgary! - The location is perfect - within walking distance of everything you could want in downtown Calgary, as well as access to nature in Prince's Island Park. We found the neighbours to be friendly, and the host helpful. The unit is clean and well stocked - we appreciated the small touches like wine and pizza! We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the lovely views and the safe neighbourhood. This property is so much better than staying in an uninspiring hotel room! The entry procedure is overly complicated and off-putting. The damage deposit of $600 seems excessive but was returned quickly on my credit card after check-out.

Communication via Booking.com and later by text was great and very helpful. There was some existing damage (small hole in back of bathroom door from a door stop) that we missed when we completed an inspection upon arrival. Management were aware of it but we were not. It initially caused some anxiety for us wondering if/how we had done it. Can we suggest that, to alleviate any potential distress, you may wish to advise people of any pre-existing damage prior to their stay

- Catthekiwi (6/5): Bring your food if no car - Lovely, very well equipped apartment by the river walk. Liked the balcony view. The checkin procedure online unlike anything I'd experienced, choice of paying extra $ security deposit which they keep no matter what or huge credit card hold.
There was a noise monitor !
No grocers anywhere near as mall across the road derelict. Had to taxi to supermarket, really inconvenient first night as didn't expect no food nearby.

Staff to assist almost totally unavailable though once we were in and had the fob, all was fine. Exorbitant prices for extra hour early or late check in. Would I stay here again? Maybe..
- Billy (10/5): Perfect Apartment. Modern, parking and ideal location. - Ideal location to walk into the park or into town. Great size apartment with modern finish, facilities and underground parking. Wouldn't want stay anywhere else in Calgary! Only criticism is the over-complex check-in process. The host uses a portal with step-by-step guides, so they have tried to make it simple, but every time you have to go into booking.com, go to the message, load the portal, find the section, click through to what you want... it would be great to have a text that summarises door codes, garage fob buttons etc in addition to the useful but complex portal.
