- Patrick (6/5): Okay for a couple of nights - Quiet apartment with windows to the back garden. Good location, I like this part of London. We had a problem with the shower, but it was quickly fixed by our host. Communication was good throughout. Weird smell in the apartment. They have tried to hide it with a few different room scents, which we felt made it even worse. We had to get rid of the scents and just live with it and keep the window open despite the heat wave, so it was not ideal.
Bed is not very comfortable.
Not the best value for money but I guess that's London for you.
- Judie (3/5): Very disappointing - The location was a busy shopping centre on a good bus route. The cleaners were helpful with issues like finding and loading the washing machine - you had to balance precariously on the stairs to use it - and one took my suitcase when I left. The 'cosy small' should have given it away. I was given a tiny attic room at the top of 5 flights of stairs that got increasingly steep. The owner claims I was warned of this access issue but I can find no record of that. At 76, I would have cancelled immediately if I had been warned. I never managed to work the microwave/oven or heating despite being sent Google docs that were supposed to help. The bed was atrocious. It seemed to have a giant spring that twanged loudly when you moved. The bathroom was minute. I found the place claustrophobic and moved out partway through my booked time so I lost substantial money.
- Josephine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stijn (9/5): Nice stay. - The accommodation had everything you needed. We just bought groceries in the nearby supermarket and used the oven multiple times. That was really helpful, if you need to keep your travel low budget.
There were also still shampoo products in the cabinet if you needed those.
The apartment was also clean and it is small but cozy. There is also enough storage to keep the appartement tidy.
There is also a tv with Netflix so if you have an account, you can watch stuff, which was nice. As the apartment was on the third floor and it was summer, it was a bit hot inside. There was a ventilator but it was still hot. But this was the only downside, overall it was good.
- Toni (7/5): Good - The location and staff were fantastic even after this foreigner messed up day 1. Very grateful for that. The mattress was extremely flimsy, and I could feel the bedframe when sitting or laying down. I was only provided with 2 tea bags and 2 small sugar packets for my 2 day visit and with no staff on site this was not a simple fix
I would also recommend adding paper towel to the kitchen. But other than that this tiny space had everything you could need.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - It had easy access to mass transit, there were a lot of food restaurant/ stores choices in the area. The room was clean and had all of the amenities listed except we never did find the washer/ dryer. No lift, had to walk up 8 flight of stairs with heavy luggage. Asked about an early check-in but was told we had to international wire money into some account, that's a no no for me. we arrive 1 1/2 hrs early and if we had of wired the money the room was clean if not then we had to wait until it was inspected for cleanliness.
- Liam (10/5): Great stay. Host was friendly and helpful. -
- Senra (6/5): Good public transport but... - The apartment is quite near public transport and you can reach the main landmarks quickly. The apartment was not very clean, especially the bathroom. Also, it's has noticeable signs of use, unlike what you would expect from a new listing in booking. Stayed in March.
- Emmalene (10/5): Great place with suitable amenities for one, in close proximity to notting hill and tube stations to travel centrally. - I had a great stay, the property was clean and has everything I needed. The kitchen and utensils provided were helpful for cooking my own meals.
- Damian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (8/5): Very good - This apartment has everything you need for your stay, such as shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer. The forniture is pretty new and the kitchen is well equipped. Will definetly book this apartment again when planning to visit London another time!
