- Terri (3/5): I wouldn’t recommend staying here to friends or family. Unless it gets cleaned properly. And fixed. - I only liked how convenient it was to get there and check in time was quick. I didn’t like many things about this place including how it didn’t seem cleaned after the last guest. There was dirty marks everywhere, including dirty pans left in oven, items left in fridge & dishwasher. K-cup was left in coffee Maker. Carpets weren’t touched, bathroom mirrors were dirty. Items in bathroom left by previous guests as they had names on them. The desk upstairs just had random stuff behind it. Looked like a previous guest had parties here and it was not cleaned after them as things were off the wall and you can notice residue all over them. The bathroom tubs had hair all over them and we were pretty sure there was mould growing under the shower mat, The thermostat kept reading high in carbon dioxide and told us we needed window open for the entire stay. The basement had a sign on it due to construction. Lots of things were broken upon arrival and when brought up to host, they already knew. Some items both closet doors downstairs & upstairs. Master bedroom night stand was pealing. Bathroom handle downstairs was already on the floor. Toilet paper holder was also broken and hanging on wall. Many doors didn’t lock, bathroom plug-ins did not work and the bathroom had weird tile cover half way through. Many of the kitchen barstools were already broken and very dangerous to sit on. Both queen beds were held up by wood and not comfortable at all as it felt you were declining from the head. There was wax stains all throughout the carpets. But wouldn’t you want those things fixed? And cleaned before arrival of new guests. We paid about $280 for a 2 night stay. I’ve been a housekeeper for 8+ years and my friends about 5+years and we were very dissatisfied with our stay. Not only did the host reach out as neighbours complained about a party happening all night. It wasn’t us the house next door was the issue. We were just 3 girls spending a shopping trip in the city. We didn’t know anyone in Edmonton.
- Koddipili (10/5): Exceptional -
- Menacho (10/5): Exceptional - Everything my kids really enjoyed the space!
Very quiet neighborhood as well ! It was far but worth it as we're not city people lol
- Don (8/5): Nice large property in quiet location for good price - Quiet Location, spacious, comfortable, with use of garage to keep our vehicles out of the weather, host was helpful and responsive Some prior cosmetic damage and stairs not vacuumed made us concerned we might be charged for repairs or cleaning
- Judeah (5/5): Passable - The house is spacious and fit everyone comfortably. I appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with a kettle. The floors felt dirty. The carpet really needs a deep clean. It feels like there is a slight residue left at the bottom of your feet while you walk around. The light switches, door handles, and water faucets are all high contact areas that should have at least been wiped prior to our arrival. I had to go over all of them in the house with the Clorox Wipes that were left in the kitchen, there was a slight brown residue/some dirt that was picked up by the wipes when wiping down the mentioned areas. The mirrors also could have done with some cleaning as well. From first glance, the house seems quickly/superficially cleaned. But as you walk through the house, a more thorough clean is necessary.
The duvets/comforters - the fabric of these items I'm unsure how frequently they are washed. We didn't end up using them and bought our own blankets instead.
The kitchenware, plates and utensils can also be better quality, as some of the cutlery has mold in the handles.
- Lino (9/5): Superb -
- Ako (4/5): A unit with a good potential but quite disappointed! - There are several positive points about this unit:
1. The unit is quite spacious—ideal for a larger group, though we were only four adults (all 40+ years).
2. I was in Edmonton for an important academic interview the next day, and we stayed for just one night. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and requested early access. The host was very accommodating, and kindly allowing us in as my parents were tired from a long drive.
3. The keyless entry was straightforward and convenient!
4. The house is new with a well-designed layout and features like a new fridge, stove, microwave, laundry machines, and dryer.
5. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, being outside the city. There was no noise from the basement either.
6. There’s a table upstairs suitable for work, and AC units in the rooms (though we didn’t need to use them).
----I needed to add some of my honest critiques here mentioned for the sake of improvement of this good unit (due to the word count limit in critic section):
1. There were several small broken items in the unit, like the sliding closet doors near the entrance and upstairs.
2. Although the kitchen area is spacious with plenty of cabinets, the provided utensils were of poor quality and not very usable. A small investment in better utensils would make a big difference. Our experience had several disappointing issues that left a bitter taste:
3. Both shower heads were barely functioning. It’s a pity they weren’t fixed, as showers are essential. When switching the water to the shower head, only about 5% of the water flowed through, spraying everywhere—even reaching the ceramic floor despite the shower curtains being fully closed. The next day, my father nearly slipped, and thankfully nothing serious happened.
4. needed to stay up late finishing a presentation. My bed was extremely flimsy, offering almost no support, and pillows were terrible. I had to use an emergency blanket from my car as a makeshift pillow and slept on the sofa for a few hours. (bed in the master bedroom seemed proper one)
5. Surprising hygiene issues: hairs were stuck inside the fridge and on two mugs we picked! (maybe from a cloth used for drying). My mother and I didn’t feel comfortable using the dishes and relied on our own utensils and plates.
6. I needed to wash some clothes, but there was no laundry detergent. I contacted the owner, who simply said it was finished, without offering to replace it. I had to go out and buy detergent that night (nearest store 12 min drive each way!)!
7. The most serious issue was the owner’s behavior after our stay. We checked out before 11 a.m., and I headed to my meetings. Around 12:30 p.m., while I was in the middle of my presentation, I received multiple messages from the owner on both of my phones and on booking.com. He accused us of swapping his pillows with our own, claiming we replaced his “quality” pillows with cheap, second-hand ones that weren’t even worth $10! This baseless accusation was not only rude but completely unfounded. When I called to address the issue, the owner tried to brush it off by saying it was due to previous guests taking items and then offered a half-hearted apology. The entire situation left us feeling disrespected and overshadowed our experience.

- Akhlaque (9/5): Spacious Property for Families - Value of money, space for the family and cleanliness. Nothing major.
- Joan (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. - A nice facility, supplies and accommodations. Great access to Netflix. Free access to tea and coffee. There were lots of sticky spills in the kitchen and in the main bedroom. Clean towels for the kitchen were needed. The carpeting needed to be vacuumed more.
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashika (10/5): Very comfortable and convenient stopover. Value for money. - It was easy to communicate. Very attentive. Very cosy place and in a new neighbourhood. Worked out great for us as we were continuing our journey the next day. The host was great. She answered all our questions. We had lots of room and a real bonus to have the two living rooms. we would return to this place next time.
- Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (9/5): It was nice to each have our own rooms and it was a very relaxing quiet location - The price and the location was quiet A little coffee availability for the morning. Didn’t know I should have bright my own
- Ron (8/5): Very good -
- Agnieszka (9/5): Edmonton family stay - Beautiful house very comfortable and warm . Little noisy due to the construction site, but it's only temporary .
- Yuan (9/5): Superb -
- Mitch (1/5): Bad - Not a thing Uncomfortable beds and nosey downstairs tenant I wasn't aware would be there
- Adeoye (8/5): Comfortable. - It was spacious and comfortable for our family. The ongoing construction work in the basement was boisterous. This should have been considered not to let out the property until the construction was completed or to suspend the construction while the main floor was occupied.
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa1212 (10/5): Amazing place - It was very good.
And the owner was so nice person.
Very clean , cozy and quite place.
I would like to recommend to somebody.
- Shelly (10/5): If you are looking for a good quality house to rent to use for space and rest in Southwest Edmonton, this one is - The location was great for us. We loved that there were 2 living rooms and each bedrooms bathrooms had 2 sinks. The Jack n Jill bathroom had sinks outside of the locking shower n toilet. I really liked that there was laundry on the same floor as the rooms, as we were there with 3 girls with volleyball jerseys to wash. Honestly, it was just right for us. As advertised. And the hosts were friendly, prompt, and accommodating.

- Anonymous (6/5): Beautiful home, new booking so some constructive changes were to be expected. Over all it was a good stay and if it wasn - The house itself is beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The owner did not advise us they would be doing construction work in the basement during our stay , especially in the morning time. It was only for a few hours but still unexpected. The kitchen was also under equipped with cooking supplies.
- Coco (9/5): Superb -
- Shavanna (8/5): Country family - We loved that it was not so close into the city. Especially when we are a family that doesn't live in the city. It gave us a sense of a city life without living here.
The kids enjoyed house, it was better than getting a hotel room where we would have been so crowded. We weren't expecting to buy a little bit of food for breakfast. Otherwise, it would have gotten the top review.
- Kathie (10/5): Exceptional - It was brand new . Clean. Spacious Nothing
- David (10/5): I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. - Very nice new home and we had to whole house to ourselves The only thing which was very minor is that the neighbourhood is too new to show up in maps lol
- Ben (9/5): My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Will book again - Clean comfy and good area Nothing
- Anthony (10/5): Very clean and spacious house in a quiet area, the owner was easy to get hold of and friendly. - The house was amazing and clean . N/A
- Alysha (8/5): Very good - The house and location were absolutely beautiful! Very comfortable and lovely neighbourhood. There were no bathroom fans which made it very humid upstairs. There was also no a/c and it was +30,+35 degrees Celsius outside. So it was not too great during the day.

- Delia (6/5): Giving with one hand while taking with the other - We are an evacuated couple from Yellowknife fire.
We thought that having a whole apartment versus a hotel room would make us feel better in this difficult circumstance.
My husband arrived late in the night by plane while I was driving 24 hours.
He had a very hard time finding the address, and the communication with the owner was difficult.
In the morning, I arrived in Edmonton after 24 hours of driving. We asked the owner to extend the check out time a few more hours so I could just get a shower and rest a couple of hours.
He was nice and accepted the check out at 2:00 pm versus 11:00 am. While the gesture of extending the check out time was nice, the owner made arrangements for having contractors to perform work in this time.
A woman contractor came about 11:30am. and tried to get in the house while we were resting. She was noisy and talking loudly. That was very disturbing, and I asked her to get out, telling her to come at 2:00 pm.
Then, approximately at 1:00pm, she came back with someone else doing exactly the same. My response was the same while I was even more frustrated.
After all, letting us rest while making arrangements with those contractors practically canceled his offer.
While we understood that he needed to do work and we didn't expect anyone to know how tough is to leave everything and run from fire and then drive 24 hours without any rest other than in the car, we found him making arrangements once he accepted to extend our time, was really disregarding.
After all, we wanted only 3 hours of undisturbed rest because I couldn't even stand up on my feet.
We were glad to get out, not looking back and not extending the booking any other further day.
- Jennifer (10/5): Excellent - Clean and comfortable
- Anonymous (9/5): One of the most enjoyable and memorable stay! - A very nice and impressive house fully equipped with almost everything. My family liked it so much that they wished they can stay longer. We had to move on due to our other plans for our vacation. Will definitely rent again and for a longer period of time. It was quite stuffy and hot without the AC. All the sockets in the bathroom don’t have electricity.
- Patel (10/5): Exceptional - Nice ,clean and big house......my kids don't want to go back....they like this house so much 😊
- Anonymous (10/5): Great place to stay .felt like our own home. - Nice, clean and extremely quite neighborhood.15-20 minutes away from the Edmonton Mall .
- Randy (9/5): Convenient and spacious - A clean and spacious home. Was great for us to stay as a couple of families and had ample room for the kids to play indoors. Communication with host was easy.
