- Caroline (9/5): Looking forward to another holiday here -
- Linda (10/5): Amazing experience. - Our first Glamping experience and we couldn’t be happier. Gardens were beautifully landscaped. So private, clean and tidy. Would have scored it 11/10 if we could. Our group took up 3 of the tents. But had plenty of room for us to all meet up each evening at one of our tents to enjoy the private camp fire and outside table setting. Beds were comfortable, shower was nice, even the provided towels were great quality. Electric blankets on bed, heated throw blanket (we didn’t use but would be great if it had been colder) In our group we had 2 people in their eighties and another in a moon boot. A railing of some sort would have made the 2 steps that lead you up to the entrance much easier to manage.

- Amelia (9/5): Was a beautiful spot, would love to stay again. - The privacy from other patrons, fire pit was a nice touch Better quality toilet paper would be nice
- Mark (9/5): - Could have been a few hooks to hang stuff.
- Dawn (10/5): - All of it
- Tracey (10/5): Perfect location for a romantic or family getaway. - Loved the glamping experience. With the outdoor bath, fire pit, 4 post comfy bed, kitchen, bathroom, television and all the little special touches like bath salts. Very accommodating and private, a must for a romantic getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped to allow having a quiet evening in for dinner and watching the sunset, fire in background. The location would be next level if closer to water or even having water views.

- Trent (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic. Quiet. Private Should have stayed longer
- Amanda (10/5): A unique glamping stay with beautiful surroundings, slightly let down by unfriendly front desk - My partner and I love camping in Western Australia, so when we planned our trip to Tasmania we decided to try glamping—and 148 Glamping was absolutely perfect. It gave us the best of both worlds, combining the comfort and convenience of a well-appointed stay with the feeling of being immersed in nature.
The setup was beautifully done, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, making it a very relaxing and enjoyable experience from start to finish. It still had that authentic outdoor feel we enjoy when camping, but with the added comfort that made the stay even more special.
We truly had a wonderful time and would highly recommend 148 Glamping to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable way to experience Tasmania. Just unfriendly staff at the front desk, despite this I still enjoyed my stay at 148 Glamping
- Thompson (10/5): Loved the privacy and luxury of the accommodation - Very unique and situated in a beautiful native setting. Having to drive through the caravan park
- David (10/5): Really unique cozy and super comfortable really cool concept definitely go for the glamping tents if you are unsure it’s - Loved the concept of the glamping tents super unique and still practical and cozy. Definitely worth it and loads of really great clean ammenities
- Jane (10/5): - Such a well designed and comfortable tent and lovely view over a lily pond Occasionally noise from other campers but generally very peaceful and private
- Ellie (10/5): -
- Meegan (10/5): Gorgeous experience and set out - Great experience, well thought out tour, comfortable beds, bath tub in deck lovely. Everything you need. Nothing
- Brian (10/5): This park has sensational facilities for all types of accomodation and the quality was amazing. - Cleanliness and ambience of the glamping tents. Towels, linen and quality of kitchen & cutlery utensils, together with picnic baskets, privacy of outdoor bath & balcony, fire pit made our stay very enjoyable. Need to be aware that noise travels easily when in and around tent facilities.

- Louise (10/5): Amazing glamping experience! - Amazing glamping experience! Beautiful tent and surroundings, very well planned for privacy. Top range facilities inside, beautiful view and outdoor bath and firepit. Kids loved their quirky cabin beds too. Camping ground also has good facilities for kids entertainment. Great location for walking into St Helen's along the waterfront pathway. Nothing
- Helen (10/5): - It was such a great experience staying in the glamping tent. What a wonderful set up!
- Alan (10/5): Luxury weekend away on the east coast of Tasmania - Everything Nothing
- Heather (10/5): 10/10 Fantastic Al round experience. Highly recommended! - Couldn’t recommend this accomodation more. It was an amazing experience being in a glamping tent. We made use of the bath on the balcony, fire pit and bbq. The bed was so comfortable and the location was so beautiful. The staff were so accommodating and offered pancakes (try the lime syrup) for breakfast in exchange for a gold coin towards local charities. Can’t wait to go back. Loved it
- angela (10/5): Well appointing glamping tent, very clean, excellent an friendly staff - The Glamping tents were on point, fitted out beautifully with quality linens etc The glamping area was excellent, the rest of the property is a well maintained caravan park.

Nichts
- Jan (10/5): - Excellent Nothing
- Renae (10/5): Perfect! - EVERYTHING these glamping tents are very well thought out they have everything you could possible need. Kid friendly they loved the hunk beds. We used the fire pit a the outdoor bath just divine. We can wait to come back but for more nights.
- Margaret (9/5): Beautiful Glamping - Such a beautiful peaceful place to stay That there were no comfy chairs to sit on the deck

- Daniel (10/5): Private and special - The cabins are full of caracter and done very nicely, all facilities were above standards. Very privately tucked away and nice and quiet. Loved the fire place out front, plenty wood there, and the bathtub on the front porch. -

Good quality products in the tent, comfy bed & privacy. Fire pit . Beautiful gardens. Nothing
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Amazing facilities Nothing
- Mitchell (7/5): Good - A wonderful location and great facilities: a luxurious hotel room in a tent canvas. Did not warn us that the NYE party would be right outside our tent; not a big problem but would have been nice to know.
- Dillon (6/5): Pleasant - Nice tents etc Glamping in a caravan park looking at houses is incredible deceptive
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teshana (5/5): Passable -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about our stay very friendly staff and a great Park.
Location is good close to main town and shopping, cafes and Hotel.
Our Glamping tent exceeded our expectations and loved all the extra touches having a bath on the verandah, a bbq, and a firepit with all in your own private space.
Bed was very comfortable, and bedding was so luxurious.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Mh (7/5): Good - The location and customer service. Heating in the tents were insufficient.
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (8/5): Very pleasant. We were lucky with the weather. - The design of the glamping area was very good. Providing a very private environment.
- Marlen (10/5): You have to try it! - Loved it!!
What a beautiful stay! Aside from the tent, we truly also enjoyed the bbq, outdoor dining table and firepit corner.
I have done glamping before and this property is very nicely done!
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (9/5): Superb -
- Cher (7/5): Love the place! - The room and facilities are amazing! The neighbours who lived behind us played music REALLY LOUD till 3 am. As the sound proof of a tent is not good, I didn’t sleep well.
- David (8/5): Different from the ordinary - Very unusual and a lot of fun Bath was exposed so unusable
- Hannah (5/5): Average - The tents were really impressive and well fit out, very clean & comfortable. I feel that the listing was quite misleading. No where did it mention that it was part of the Big 4 campsite and there is no signage to suggest that upon entry. We drove around for 10 minutes trying to find where to go because it just seemed so far from what had been advertised that you would be glamping in the corner of a caravan park. Our tent backed directly onto the caravan park and campers right outside our window whose conversations and all movements were easily heard inside our tent, so it didn’t feel private at all. We couldn’t use our bath as there was literally no privacy or appropriate screening from the carpark or the Big 4 and the lights from the caravan park shone straight onto our bath all night. The other side of our tent backed onto a gravel road and suburban housing where kids on motorbikes rode loudly up and down the street and car lights shone into our tent. Very much not the ‘private oasis’ it advertised. The kitchen is also very sparsely stocked and you definitely cannot cook a meal using the implements provided, be sure to bring your own. The advertising seems to very purposefully omit any of these facts, as I would not have booked this stay had I understood the actual nature of the accommodation. This seems like quite a strange business model as I arrived confused and disappointed, not a great way to start a trip.
- Tashana (10/5): Excellent! 10/10 - Everything! The glamping tents were so well thought out - they had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the setting was beautiful! There was nothing we didn’t like.
- Christopher (7/5): Good - Location and style of it Neighbours up all night after hours
- Madeleine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Absolute Luxury for a great price! - Absolute luxury in such a great location. The fire pit really topped it off! We'll be back! Very affordable. Couldn't find anything wrong!
- Priscilla (7/5): Valentine's Getaway - It was nice and clean. We were close to the car park. It was very noisy.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - We love this place! It's a very unique take on accommodation in St Helens. It rained the whole day when we were there, but staying here still make it a worthwhile vacation. The bathtub and the bbq was wonderful, and the place was quite private. Bed is very comfortable too, the whole place was made up to feel luxurious. Highly recommend
- Max (9/5): Superb -
- Eliot (8/5): Very good - Very nice and roomy set up. Bed was very comfortable. Overall it was very nicely done. Lighting was a bit dim. The wash basin was quite difficult to use.
- Eleonora (10/5): Perfect glamping experience - The glamping cabins are just perfect: cozy, functional and private. The bed is super comfy and the vibes are so good that we cancelled our reservation in town to have dinner at “home”. Friendly staff made the experience just perfect. Na
- Rosemary (10/5): Enjoyable considering I dislike all forms of camping. This glamping experience was awesome and would stay again. - Our accommodation was spacious, well appointed and the best shower. Beds super comfortable and we absolutely loved it. Fire pit and outdoor bath was cool. Nothing stands out
- Hayton (10/5): Exceptional - Best ever experience the staff super friendly and great costumer service thanks again
- Ritesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (9/5): Nice and comfortable - It was very comfortable There is a swamp under the tent and it doesn’t look clean and has quite a lot of bugs , I hope they can sort it out.
- Poppy (9/5): Would return and stay again, but probably aim to go outside of school holiday periods. - Beautiful presentation and setup Sound of other campers especially in the Big 4 camping ground communal space on otherwise of fence took away from the experience.
While the layout of the glamping grounds endeavors to maximize privacy for each site, there’s not quite enough distance between them to really be out of others eye lines when spending time on the decking area.
For the price though, it was still an excellent accommodation option.
- Corinne (10/5): Amazing - Location was great. I did think the tents would be separated a little more but other than that it was more than I expected 😄 beautiful beaches close by Maybe could have done with some outdoor cushions for the seats on the deck … but now I’m being picky . Otherwise it was perfect :)
- Roxanne (10/5): Loved our stay in the glamping tents and will return - Met all our needs and was just a wonderful experience Nothing
- Minns (10/5): We have been to nearly every glamping place in Tasmania and this is the best we have been to.. ❤️ - Loved everything about this place. The facilities and the privacy.. I thought the bath salts was a lovely idea.. loved how the wood and firestarter and matches were all there for you. Loved the barbie on the deck and the bath wow 👌 we loved having the firepit.
- Lene (9/5): Great glamping - We loved our glamping tent! It has everything you need and is large with a cozy outdoor area. The WiFi - it’s not very good
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (9/5): Superb -
- Areum (8/5): Very good -
- Graeme (10/5): Really enjoyed the location. - First time Glamping and it was excellent. Loved the outdoor bath and fire place. Nothing really.
- Justan (10/5): We stayed for a second time as we loved it so much the first time. Staff lovely and had a great sleep - Location. Was comfortable. Bath on the deck was lovely. Second time staying here and didn’t feel as private in this particular tent or outdoor bath. (Franklin).
- Suthasinee (10/5): Perfect stay - Ex family getaway. Loved our stay. Everything was well presented Nothing
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional - All of it
- Gray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guy (7/5): Inquire about this site’s immediate context - Clean, comfortable and nicely designed glamp The advertising has misled me about the nature of this accommodation. Instead of being an independent and isolated small camp site, it is in fact embedded within a large camp site. My own tent the first night was hard by a group of happy and partying campers, even though partying is ironically not allowed in my own accommodation according to the policies. So instead of spending a pleasant two evenings near the bay, I have to wait until ‘quiet hours’ begin at 10pm to get rest. There was also no one to address this in the evening. The next morning the manager gave me a different tent and refunded one night’s stay.
