Guest Reviews
- Rosemary (6/5): Adequate and inexpensive, but not luxurious nor perfectly functional - No breakfast, this was self-catering so we didn't expect it, but the kitchen was well-equipped for making our own breakfast. There was a large fridge and plenty of cupboard space for storing our food. The very spacious living room had a large table where we sat to eat our meals.
The beds were very comfortable and there was ample storage space for clothes.
The flat was functional and adequate rather than luxurious, but good value for an upmarket area of expensive Rome.
There were two supermarkets within easy walking distance, and only a short walk to bus stops for three bus routes (23, 70 and 495) into central Rome. We did not like the location, on the corner of a very busy main road.
Being on the ground floor the noise and pollution from traffic was constant and annoying.
The hob did not work. The letting agent (a pleasant young lady) met us (on time) and showed us how to use the facilities. She had installed a temporary hob on a table, which we used once.
The young lady said the hob would be fixed during our stay, but this did not happen. We were out all day visiting art galleries, museums, churches etc, so we were not interested in cooking and mostly used the microwave, but for anyone who wanted to cook, this would have been difficult.
There was a washing machine, which was very useful, but it was meant to dry as well as wash. It did not dry properly. I think that by "dry" they meant "spin". There was a drying rack which we installed in the very spacious hall, but our laundry took about three days to dry, so we could not do washing towards the end of our stay.
There was no cleaning or changing of sheets during our stay.
The last two nights of our stay (13 and 14 November) were quite chilly, but we were not allowed heating. Our hostess said it was not available before 15 November.

- Davidggphy (6/5): Pleasant - Coordinating with the host was difficult and he didn't arrive on time.
- Ogechi (8/5): Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable - I liked everything. It was great and clean. Walking distance to main centre and most thing including the Vatican, St Peter’s Square etc. Honestly a great place to stay. You have everything you need to stay comfortably and more. The host is also responsive to requests. I would absolutely highly recommend. I only say that because the property is on a relatively to small busy road, you can be woken up by traffic or cars passing and passer-by conversations. But note that it is not loud all. Depends on how tired and how deep you sleep, this can be ignored. But not a put off as I would still recommend.
Additional, I will suggest a bath mat be put outside the shower as that area can become wet and slippery
