- Victoria (2/5): Poor quality, noisy and no electric for 1/5 of week I stayed - Heavy traffic and very noisy. Electricity failed and owner had to top up meter. I had to get on a chair a few times to get to the fuse board and meter to figure it out myself. Poor value for money when basics not available. Not especially clean. Under bed dirty and shower grouting and skirtings needed repainting/sorting. Blind was dirty with a tide mark. When I arrived there was a strong curry type smell which disappeared after a while. Herbs and spices left out but half emptied. Coffee machine but capsules needed to use and not supplied. Was asked to empty bins on departure which given there was no electric (no lighting, tv, internet from 8:30pm when I arrived back to the following morning when I figured out I had to press the meter button to kick start after owner eventually topped it up! I felt was a bit cheeky honestly! Bars on window straight out onto the street where there was zero privacy unless roller blind down. Bed and linen were nice and clean.
- Andrew (4/5): Massively disappointing - It’s a cute little place and was very clean and tidy I hated being forced to pay an additional breakage fee (or £200 deposit!!) before I could check in. Also what’s the point of having a coffee pod machine and not offering some pods? No tea, coffee, FORKS, no strainer but for some reason 3 bottle openers and oven mitts (no oven).
- Nesta (10/5): Exceptional - property was immaculately clean and comfy and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed!
