Guest Reviews
- Caroline (10/5): - Beautiful and peaceful!
- Tera (10/5): - Excellent location for our trip focused on the eastern side of the island, delicious breakfast each morning, great local recs from Angela, and a beautiful home and porch to enjoy the peacefulness of Little Pond.
- Audrey (10/5): C’était juste génial : magnifique, reposant, et l’hôte est super gentille et bienveillante. Je recommande à 100% ! -
- Lincoln Roseboom (9/5): Cozy haven in PEI - Beautiful, cozy and peaceful house with lovely covered porch to relax, have breakfast, have a drink.
The breakfasts were delicious - lots of fruit, home baked muffins, cereals (home made granola among them).
Our hostess had many suggestions on what to do, depending on our interests. She keeps a daily "bulletin" on what's happening in the area. There is nothing to dislike about the place. I wished the restaurants were closer so I could linger longer on the porch in the late afternoon.
- Lauren (10/5): Charming, comfy and memorable…a great stay! - Amazing property and host!
Was the nicest place we stayed the whole trip- would love to return in the near future!
Angela went out of her way to make our stay very special.
- Deshaies-Samson (10/5): What a great find! - If you are looking for a relaxing, calm spot, this is it: no cars, no traffic, no noise. This BnB easily makes up for it with its lowkey beaches around and its nice, sweet host. Angela prepares every day a small summary with special activities and has great suggestions for stuff to do around. The BnB itself is the perfect mix of old and new: you feel at maximum comfort while still being inside a quaint 1800s building which kept all its charm. You won't regret booking here if you want to take a couple days to relax. It's not particularly close to the big beaches and cities (approx. 30 min radius), but this BnB easily makes up for it with its lowkey beaches around and its nice, sweet host.
- PAULA (10/5): All around fantastic stay! - Great host with wonderful suggestions. Lovely room and house.
- Jami (10/5): Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Great host. - The host was amazing! Angela is fantastic. The room had a comfortable bed and warm blankets. There's a folder that has all sorts of information of what to do in the area. Breakfast had a variety of food to choose from. Very clean place. Bathroom had everything you need. There was a supply of bandaids and menstrual products if needed! It was a nice surprise because nowhere else I have stayed ever had menstrual products.
- Martin (9/5): - Beautiful location, friendly and helpful host, comfortable beds
- Sky (9/5): -
- Penney (8/5): Great vacation - Awesome
- Linda (10/5): -
- Urscheler (10/5): Absolutely wonderful! - Beautiful with an amazing host! N/a
- Andrea (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable and clean. - It was in a picturesque setting away from noise. All was very clean. There were extra rooms and a lovely porch to sit and enjoy the views with a coffee in hand. Angela, the host was helpful and friendly. A variety of lovely beaches could be found nearby (some close, some farther). It was also a short drive to the Fireworks Feast at Inn at Bay Fortune.
- Terry (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing - The house and the room were amazing. Such rich history and beauty around the property. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. A little off the beaten path, but great place to unwind.
- Sinamys (10/5): Super comfortable, relaxing, and peaceful. - We had the most amazing stay at the Manor on the Pond B&B. Angela was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and excited to help us have the best time on our trip - giving us great recommendations and even providing us with supplies such as beach chairs and beach towels for our adventures around PEI, during our stay. We would highly recommend! No real complaints!
- Paula (10/5): Our host Angela was superb. She was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of tips. She made homemade breakfast pastries - It was very homey and inviting. Very quiet. Lovely grounds. Very nicely communal area for breakfast and gathering with friends. A little too warm at night in our bedroom. It was a heat wave though. We left the door open which helped.
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good - The owner was nice to talk with and full of suggestions in the area. I loved my room, and I could have stayed for a few weeks. Bed was so comfy! I didn't realize the internet would be shut down when the owner retired for the evening. No big deal. However, had I known in advance, I would have done the things earlier that I needed to. My cell service was minimal.
I really miss being served a hot breakfast at BnB's. Seems a thing of the past! I did appreciate the continental breakfast.
- Silberstein (10/5): Manor on The Pond - What a perfect experience! We loved the location as we were able to visit the surrounding beaches, sights and friends easily. The house itself is charming and lovely. Our host, Angela is a wealth of island knowledge and gave wonderful suggestions everyday for activities and sights. We looked forward to the beautiful breakfast spreads she created for us every morning, even going over and above for my dietary preferences. As we are dog lovers, we were thrilled to bond with the 2 wonderful dogs on sight, Freya and Hunter. We recommend Manor on The Pond wholeheartedly! Nothing that we weren't pleased with
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Immaculate restored farm house, very quiet and comfortable, wonderful host
- Kerrie (9/5): Superb - Such a lovely experience in all aspects. Very comfy bed, and my room had an ensuite. There are water views to the back. As the B & B is on a back road, it's very quiet and peaceful. Host is wonderful with great local knowledge. I checked out some of her recommendations, and they were well worth a visit. Nothing
- Anne (10/5): This is the best place to stay on the east side of PEI. Book it now- you won’t be disappointed - Home made muffins, fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, juice, banana bread- you name it. We had it for breakfast. So much local advice for things to do. Beautiful home built in 1843 but renovated to modern standards. Gorgeous pond just 100m away. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Pure bliss.
- Grover (9/5): Superb - Quiet Not en-suite; booking.com limits her choices so she could only state it was a private bath which we assumed to be en-suite.
- Tom (10/5): Peaceful welcoming retreat - Welcoming hostess, comfortable room, tasty continental breakfast options (great fresh fruit which we especially appreciated), so quiet, good base for exploring the eastern side of PEI. Everything was great.
- Jody (8/5): Very nice, enjoyed ourselves - Quiet and peaceful.
Helpful and friendly As the property is fairly remote, maybe offer a charcuterie board in the evening
- Cheryl (9/5): Anglea is a great host and attentive to detail - Sufficient and enough
- Lorraine (10/5): Extremely relaxing few days in a clean, comfortable country home - Spotlessly clean, very well appointed, quiet country location, super friendly and helpful host, fresh and tasty continental breakfast, thoughtful amenities, a few minutes from Sally’s Beach and Inn At Bay Fortune Nothing
- Deidre (10/5): Homey and welcoming BnB - Host was welcoming and friendly. Happy to give advice on local gems. She even went out of her way and provided chairs and towels for the beach.
The continental breakfast was lovely. Home was clean and nicely decorated. It is a long drive into cavendish and Charlottetown.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Our Host was very helpful everyday with information on activities in the area. She even called a friend so we could go play pickleball. Having to leave
- Marie (10/5): Manor on the Pond is an eastern PEI gem. - Beautiful setting
Nicely restored farmhouse
Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom
Pleasant common areas
Continental breakfasts were a feast! Fresh baked items, lots of fruit, yogurt and cereal
Knowledgeable and attentive host who went out of her way to find activities we were interested in
Nearby “Sally’s Beach” is beautiful & nearly empty Little Pond is a remote location, probably not for everyone. We used this setting as a base to thoroughly explore eastern PEI.
- Kenneth (8/5): Lovely old home in remote country area - Quaint, old home in the country. Lovely hosts. Area is quite remote. Not necessarily a negative, but be prepared to drive everywhere. HVAC system is limited in that thermostat is located in one bedroom, while the main (only?) vent is located in the hallway.
- Marion (10/5): Exactly what we wanted - Pretty location very clean Nothing
- Julia (10/5): A breath taking property; relaxing retreat in and the host a wonderful new friend - So many personable touches including the goodie bag of banana bread to take on the road.
- Sandra (10/5): Loved my stsy at Manor on the Pond. - Historic. Quaint, comfortable, scenic, homey, welcoming, loved my early mornings on the deck with Angela my hostess and her dogs Hunter and Freya. Great conversations.
- Eileen (10/5): This gem is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, off the beaten path and filled with charm! - The house was lovely and wonderfully decorated, the bed was so comfortable, and the plentiful breakfasts included a variety of fresh and tasty homemade treats every day. Angela was delightful and helped us above and beyond on everything we needed. We highly recommend Manor on the Pond for anyone seeking a rewarding PEI experience.
- Darin (10/5): If you plan to stay on the east side of PEI, you can’t do better than Manor on the Pond - Beautiful property close to most of the places we wanted to see. Angela was very friendly and informative about restaurants and sights to visit. Breakfast was varied each morning and had a lot of options. Beds were dangerously cozy! If you want to visit the west side of the island, you might wish your accommodations were closer to the center of the island.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property in beautiful, very quiet area. Super friendly host made us feel right at home. Room and bed very comfortable and impecably clean. Wonderfull breakfast. We have been road tripping for five weeks now, and this is far and away the nicest place we have stayed! Highest recommendation 🌟 The only thing we didn't like was that we ever had to leave.
- Connie (10/5): Perfect. Hostess couldn't have been lovelier and accommodations were fabulous. - My hostess was so friendly and accommodating. She graciously altered breakfasts to my wishes. Bed was so comfy. Not a thing. Hostess was great. Beautiful fresh air breeze through the room.
- Lisa (10/5): If you want to relax, unwind and distress - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monor on the Lake...exceptional service, food and hospitality! So grateful we found this little gem!
- Hellmann (10/5): Thank you Angela for a lovely stay, great recommendations and yummy breakfasts - Very quiet and remote. Calming and relaxing :) very clean
