The loft has all you need for a comfortable getaway and includes breakfast. It is in the old town. The host is very friendly and informative. We will definitely stay here when we return to Bern. • HONG XIA (10/5): 时尚 舒适 超级喜欢 - 超大的临河落地窗，视野极佳。对面就是熊苑，步行到各景点都很近。房间非常的宽敞，而且很有设计感，时尚大气，有品味。有独立的小花园，临河露台。因迷路而晚到了，房东超级好，一直耐心的等我们，非常感谢。早餐很丰盛。 一切都很完美，没有不足。

• Reisinger (10/5): A unique and delightful place to stay! - It would have been worth a trip to Bern just to stay at Sonnen Loft B&B! Located on the bank of the Aare River, it has large picture windows allowing great views of the river and the Bear Park across the way. The owner met us and introduced us to the house amenities. The owners are artists, and the apartment has unique decor and ambiance. The cold breakfast was delicious and more than ample. It’s a bit out of the way, but has access to bus routes with free fare bus codes provided.

• Alexander (10/5): Am liebsten einziehen und für immer bleiben - Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Loft, man möchte am liebsten selbst drin wohnen. Die Dusche ist ein Traum, man fühlt sich wie unter einem Wasserfall. Regenduschen gibts wie Sand am Meer, aber nicht mit so einem guten Wasserdruck. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und natürlich eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre und Aussicht. Goldenes Besteck, ist aber ne subjektive Sache und die Möbel und die Toiletten wirken wie für Kinder gemacht. Ich bin 192 cm, es wirkte überdurchschnittlich klein, aber machbar.

• Stephan (10/5): Outstanding! - Wir waren zu zweit für zwei Nächte in diesem Loft und waren rundum begeistert. Das Loft ist äußerst großzügig geschnitten und bietet viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Obwohl wir unangekündigt früher angekommen sind, wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten problemlos einchecken, was direkt einen positiven ersten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden was man braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die stilvolle und geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die dem Loft eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre verleiht. Auch das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight. Sehr abwechslungsreich von hoher Qualität und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zusammengestellt. Selbst an erfrischende Getränke wurde gedacht. Mega! Der Parkplatz befindet sich in einem Parkhaus etwa zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Be- und Entladen direkt an der Unterkunft war jedoch völlig unkompliziert. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und gleichzeitig sehr zentral. Ideal um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Ein ganz besonderer Moment erwartet einen jedoch direkt beim Betreten des Lofts. Die voll verglaste Fensterfront mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Aare. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite konnten wir sogar Bären beim Äsen beobachten. Ein wirklich einzigartiges Erlebnis. Bei diesem Ausblick und dem gesamten Ambiente fiel es uns schwer das Loft überhaupt zu verlassen. Schade dass wir nur zwei Nächte in Bern verbracht haben.

Csodálatos reggelit készített be nekünk. A lakás kreatív modern berendezése elragadó. Az Aare folyó a lábunknál folyt, aranyos terasz is tartozik a helyhez, ahonnan pont rálátni a macikra. Nincs olyan.
• Katherine (10/5): Huge, well appointed and quiet apartment with beautiful views along the Aare River. - We had the best time staying at this stunning apartment in Bern. It’s huge - plenty of space for our family of four in a peaceful part of the city and quiet building along the river. The view is awesome, overlooking the Aare River and the bear park. We saw one of the bears that had just come out of hibernation from the apartment. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos; there is a side terrace with seating and a narrow balcony along the river. The owner supplied breakfast and gave helpful recommendations for our stay; we had all of the toiletries, blankets, and kitchen cutlery and glassware that we needed. We loved using the fireplace in the evenings. This is one of the best apartments that we’ve stayed at in Europe. We would absolutely stay here again!

Located in such a great, central location, within walking distance to everything. The river right outside the large sliding doors was such a plus. The owner puts such love and care into every detail. Beautifully decorated and such a cozy home away from home. Nothing. We loved everything and only wish we would have booked a longer stay!

Truly, the hosts, the space, the location...everything was truly remarkable. I've already sent their info to at least 7 of my closest friends and family that travel often to Switzerland. We couldn't have been happier. Everything was divine.

Die Einrichtung der Loft ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe umgesetzt. Nebst dem Frühstück standen eigene Drinks im Kühlschrank zur Verfügung. Auch Brennholz für einen romantischen Abend war vorhanden. Im benachbarten Restaurant konnten wir als Mieter der Loft vergünstigt Essen. Alles in allem ein rundum stimmiger und unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank, Frau Sonnen, für die vielen Aufmerksamkeiten! nichts, alles war perfekt!

Does not look much from the outside but the interior is very homely and beautiful presented with a wonderful view of the river. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Limited parking available for larger vehicles. We were lucky though as there was a spare space directly outside.
• Shirley (10/5): Perfect stay in Bern, will come back again - Katya was so warm and thoughtful... she left us a little surprise: a bottle of red wine from their own vineyard, flowers, and a fridge fully stocked with food. She is responsive to questions and requests. I love every single detail of this house. I even have serious plant envy... the healthiest monstera and exotic plants everywhere. All the paintings, decor, and beautiful Bern table books were created by her daughter, and the drinks are from their family business. This is the best stay we’ve had so far on this trip. This Bern stay has made my birthday trip more memorable. Thank you Katya, hope to come back to your place again someday. The washing machine was not effective in spin drying clothes, but Katya provided clothes rack to air dry the wet clothes. It worked, so this is a small matter.

• Roman (10/5): Perfekte Location für ein Weekendtrip nach Bern - Die Lage ist unglaublich. Trotz des Winterschlafes, haben wir im Dezember Bären gesehen. Die Aussicht über die Aare zum Bärenpark ist einmalig. Die Wohnung ist einfach perfekt und es hat alles, was man braucht. Die Informationsbroschüre über Bern ist sehr hilfreich und lädt zum lesen ein. Ein gutes Frühstück rundet das ganze noch ab. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. nichts!!!!!

• Nicholas (10/5): Gorgeous Property With Amazing Views - This place is a must stay! The owner met us when we arrived and was wonderful. She gave us a tour of the property and provided great recommendations for things to do in Bern. The property had everything we needed and the owner provided a delicious continental breakfast. The property has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river which was spectacular. We even saw a bear on the other side of the river. The location is in the city center/old town and walking distance to Christmas Markets, the Munster and clock tower. If I'm ever in Bern again, I will try to book this place. Not a criticism but more a warning to those driving to Bern. The parking is in a private garage underground which has a very small entryway, low ceiling and tight parking spaces. Not recommended for anything larger than a compact SUV.

Abbiamo viaggiato con una bambina di 2 anni e ci siamo trovati benissimo: c’era tutto il necessario nell’appartamento e tanti spazi. Host molto accogliente. Forse solo i cuscini potevano essere un po’ più confortevoli, ma per il resto è andato tutto benissimo!

L'appartement est mieux que sur les photos. Katja vous fait sentir bienvenue des les premières secondes. Un design sympas. Le confort et la taille du lit double est à revoir ( nous n'avons pas utilisé les lits simples). Le portrait dans la chambre lit double à fait peur à notre enfant. La poussière laisse vraiment à désiré - lustre de la cuisine - au dessue du lit - lustre salle de bain - le sol par endroit ... Que des choses qui nous ont sauté au yeux.

• Ellen (10/5): - Such a gem! Love that’s it’s right on the river! Host is so sweet we had a very brief stay but really enjoyed it!!
• Jan (10/5): Great stay in wonderful, unique location - Lovely, very well equipped space in great location. Katja & her daughter were most welcoming and had thought of everything!
• Jim Heard (10/5): Beautiful, spacious apartment with a great view - Katja is an excellent host and provided lots of helpful advice about things to do and where to eat in Bern. The space is very large, with more than enough room for a couple. The breakfast was ample and delicious. The shower was wonderful, with a rainfall showerhead and plenty of water pressure. There was a drain stoppage during our visit, but Katja came over and fixed it right away. The apartment is right on the river, with a nice view of the Bear Park and the hills above it, and we enjoyed looking out at the river as we ate breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Bern. Drain stoppage (though Katja fixed it promptly), pillows were too soft.

• FERNANDO DAVID (10/5): Alojamiento muy completo en un enclave precioso - El apartamento tiene mucho más de lo que se puede necesitar, su ubicación es impresionante, y la propietaria muy detallista y agradable. Reúne todas las condiciones para una estancia inolvidable, uno se puede pasar horas sin cansarse simplemente viendo la corriente de un río tan cristalino pasar a dos metros del sofá. Muy recomendable. No hay nada que reprochar. Cumple de sobra las expectativas.
• Anuschka (10/5): - Dieses Loft ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Man kommt herein und fühlt sich wie auf einem Schiff, so dicht fließt die Aare vorbei. Alles ist super individuell und besonders gestaltet. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Liebevoll bereitgestelltes Frühstück, unglaublich viel Platz, mehrere sitzecken. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und man fühlte sich perfekt betreut. Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen. Dann mit mehr Zeit!
• Matthew (10/5): The perfect appartment for a short stay in Bern - would stay again if visiting Bern - Superb location, breakfast and appartment interior. Excellent discount at local restaurant. A plug for the bathroom sink would making shaving easier.
• Lauren (10/5): This loft exceeded our expectations! - This loft is absolutely amazing! The view was wonderful, the shower was incredible, the breakfast was perfect. We loved our stay and Katja was so nice and helpful. This was one of our most favorite places we have ever stayed. We can’t wait to come back!

• Lídia (10/5): Val molt la pena! - Les vistes i la proximitat al riu son excepcionals. La propietària ha pensat en tots els detalls. El tracte amb ella és immillorable i sempre ha estat disponible. Ens ha servit un esmorzar complet.

• Rainer (10/5): - Liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattetes Apartment in einmaliger Lage unmittelbar am Fluss mit Blick u.a. auf ein Bärengehege. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen, PKW-Stellplatz in der Nähe. Netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Das ist alles kaum zu toppen!
