- Jerome (9/5): - Le cadre le calme
- fraukie (8/5): - locatie
- Badiu (8/5): Very good -
- Bianca (8/5): Good stay for a camp site - The chalet we booked was changed to another one for some booking issues, but we did appreciate that the person we spoke to offered us immediately an alternative and did not just cancel our booking.
The area is absolutely fabulous. The camp site is very nice, all cottages are in the woods, which gives you some privacy. Parking is very easy on-site, mostly in front of your own chalet (in case you have more than 1 car, options for parking near are very likely).
The chalet we stayed in was very nice, perfect for a family of 4 or 5 people. There were many facilities around, as well as walking/biking distance to ine of the most beautiful small towns I have ever seen.
Beds were comfortable, the place was also quiet despite the limited phonic isolation.
Staff was very friendly and helpful We were not told when booking, about some important elements (but having read the reviews helped anticipating some bits):
You should bring your own neccessaire: shower gel, shampoo, soap, dish washer tabs and liquid, kitchen towels, any spices you want to use (includins salt and pepper). Bring your own towels, otherwise you’ll have to pay for renting them
You need to put on the bed sheets yourself, then remove them and drop them at the reception.
The biliard/golf tables are quite dated.
The table tennis was not usable as the rain the night before made it very muddy around the tables (a pity, as it could be fixed easily).
When we checked-in, we were not told that there was no water due to a pipe problem (which got fixed a couple of hours later, but would have been good to know we can’t wash hands upon arrival).
The cottage is also dated, some upgrades would be welcome - cleaning included.
Despite the above (and a few other small things), I reckon we were on a camping site and our experience overall was good.
