• Jan (10/5): Will do it again - This property was excellent, right on the beach and 3 min walk to food shops and restaurants. It has a lovely deck and great watching the surf, dog walkers and young families. I have stayed here some years ago and the refurbishment is very good. I met the owner who was delightful. Very quiet and peaceful with only the sound of the waves to be heard over night. The room was very well equipped with everything you would need. Nil - We liked everything about our stay.

We loved our stay here and appreciated the various amenities in the flat itself, such as crockery, TV, laundry basket and maiden. No complaints, really, but was definitely at the top end of our budget.

• Robyn (9/5): Great stay close to beach, would definitely stay again - It was very close to the beach and lots of cafes/ restaurants, it was very clean, being a studio was very compact but use of space excellent and everything you needed with some extra touches and recently refurbished. Only thing I would say, no full length mirror, as we went to a wedding really needed one, but other than that excellent 😊 And just a note still a lot of work going on so can be noisy during the day, but says should be finished soon!
• Stephen (8/5): Minor difficulties in accessing the keys/parking - Just a bit confusing on location of keys, building under a bit of renovation, but right on the beach with only a small reserve to cross, just a little difficulty in accessing car park and finding the outside key box, was a holiday weekend so beach area very, busy. A normal reception area (meet and greet, but the apartment was freshly tastfully, renovated......

• Emily (10/5): Surfrider is a great place to stay in a beautiful part of Sydney - The location right on the beach was fabulous. We loved morning walks and coffee overlooking the ocean. The apartment was newly refurbished and very clean and comfortable. We cooked in some nights and went out others. Well serviced by public transport it was a great place to stay. No complaints!

Beautifully appointed, recently renovated, meticulously clean and so close to the beach and fabulous eateries. We highly recommend this idyllic stay! Not applicable… loved it.

It wasn't told to us prior to booking that the building was being gutted internally( dust,old tiles everywhere) No on-site parking due to Reno's... Not the best to recommend. Full disclosure to tennants before taking money might be a good idea

• Janette (9/5): Superb - The location was great. It was very bright at night with the lights in the park that light up the apartment. Could do with some block out curtains to make it darker at night and block out the morning sun..quite warm.
• Mire (10/5): Bright welcoming studio - This studio apartment is perfect for couples. It is in a great location across from the beach. You're able to walk to a variety of restaurants and pubs. The town is cute and the people friendly. The decor is simple and the layout is perfectly functional. Owner provides a book for how to use the appliances which is a huge bonus. We bought a take and bake pizza. I never would have figured out how to use the oven without it. The shower is one of the best I've experienced and there's plenty of hot water. The bed is extremely comfortable and the sheets are so soft. The apartment was spotless and fresh smelling. The owner went out of her way to accommodate our requests for changes to check in and check out. I would come here again. The bath towels were big, but very thin. Thicker towels would be nicer. They weren't a deal breaker at all.

• Kim (10/5): Oh my goodness … an idyllic holiday studio! - What a wonderful studio stay in a prime, iconic location overlooking Dee Why Beach! I had stayed prior to the recent studio renovation and loved it but was most impressed with the tasteful improvements. The studio has been styled beautifully. It is immaculately clean and fresh. The bed is very comfortable and there is great shower pressure. The host is so thoughtful, even providing a sweet treat, tea, coffee and milk which I really appreciated after a long drive. The balcony offers spectacular ocean and lagoon views. It is only a short stroll to fabulous cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Public transport is very accessible too. I highly recommend staying and will definitely make it a regular holiday destination! No negatives at all.

• Nancy (8/5): …was the perfect place for a short stay…location couldn’t have been better! - …location was excellent, right on the beachfront & walking distance from awesome food & coffee…also, so great having a parking spot!! ..cooking facilities were just fine for short stay but limited (no oven) for longer stay, suitable for 2 people but as there was only 2 plates, sets of cutlery etc, had to wash up as we went and couldn’t invite friends or fam over for a meal or a cuppa…not a deal breaker though :)

Unable to park in the allocated parking bay as access was very tight ,had a ute with a tray back had I been able to get into the parking bay I would have blocked other cars in.

Check in super easy, and our host went out of her way to arrange early check in for us. Bed very comfy which is a key point for us when travelling. Lovely little balcony with beach in sight. Nothing. It was all great!
• Checkley (8/5): Comfortable but minimal information provided. - Location was excellent. Nice views from the balcony overlooking a park. Parking in a tight corner was impossible to access even with a small car so we parked on the street. Calling it an apartment was a bit of a stretch as it was not much bigger than a decent hotel room. Yes it had a round table and two chairs, but cooking facilities were a microwave, toaster, coffee machine and a kettle. Lucky we were eating out. No information was provided about anything in the appt, including no info on "free" WiFi password and host did not reply to my query over the weekend. So no WiFi for us. Appt was comfortable for a weekend stay but I was disappointed with communication from the host, as there was no staff on site.

• Judy (8/5): Very cosy studio apartment.Parked the car & didn’t need it again.No traffic noise ,slept like a log😊 - this property is within walking distance for everything that you need.Supermarkets,RSL Club & restaurants buses & the beach a stones throw away.Easy access.Share laundry is available if needed.Very comfortable bed & pillows.Would definitely recommend for a beachside holiday. There’s nothing to dislike about the property The outside is dated but don’t be put off by this.
