• Ellamay (5/5): Stressful but worked out in the end. - (THIS IS NOT WHAT WE ORIGNALLY BOOKED, WE WERE MOVED DUE TO PLUMBING ISSUES) We were moved to a lovely, spacious and clean apartment in Canary Wharf. On the way to the station, I received a call from the host advising us the toilet was overflowing so they would refund us, meaning we had no where to stay for the night. The host, Anthony, moved us to a different properly however this was in Canary Wharf so we had to pay £60 for a taxi to get back from the O2. Anthony did transfer me £20 as a gesture of good will however this did not cover our travel fees at all. Over all, not a great experience but was swiftly given another property without extra charge.

• Barnes (7/5): Okay, but overpriced what what it is - Loved how easy it was to get to the O2 from the apartment! Despite cleanliness issues i would stay here again if need be. I would definitely say you're paying for location and accessibility with this place. I noticed it needed a good proper clean. I think only the beds were made before we came in because there was beer left in the fridge and stains in the bathroom and pretty much everywhere. There was also no WiFi when it stated there was and when I tried contacting the owner, I didn't get anything back. TV only has one channel and Netflix wouldn't work because no WiFi. The pictures don't give a realistic view overall.

• Camille (7/5): - Emplacement idéal pour aller à un concert à l'O2 à moins de 5min à pied. Appartement dans un immeuble très moderne avec une vue magnifique sur la tamise. Deux grandes chambres confortables avec rangement, aucunes nuisances sonores. Décoration moderne. Communication très difficile avec l'hôte. Réponds peu rapidement. Nous avions vu de récents avis postérieurs à notre réservation disant que l'hôte annulait au dernier moment les réservations sous de prétextes ridicules. C'est pourquoi le jour même je n'ai pas été surprise qu'il m'annonce (en appelant avec un autre numéro que celui renseigné sur le site) que soit disant l'appartement n'était pas disponible car avait été détruit par les occupants de la veille. Il nous propose un autre appartement à 10min en voiture (taxi ou se propose lui même de venir nous chercher après le concert). Je décline, nous avons besoin d'être logée à côté strictement. Il nous dit qu'il va essayer de nous trouver un autre appartement dans le même immeuble ou si l'on vient tard peut être qu'il sera soit disant réparé. Tout cela dans un anglais assez difficile des deux côtés car aucun de nous n'étant anglophone. Il est sensé nous tenir au courant mais 0 nouvelles jusqu'à 18h le soir où devant l'adresse nous l'appelons. Il finit par arriver en retard sans excuses, très froid, disant qu'il n'est pas sensé travailler le dimanche (pourtant c'était réservé du dimanche au mardi depuis bien longtemps), nous explique à peine le fonctionnement de l'immeuble. Visite express de l'appart qui n'était pas du tout détruit. En revanche pas propre : traces sales sur la table, traces de verres sur la table de nuit, éclaboussures dans la salle de bain, miettes au sol, cheveux dans la baignoire... il faut se méfier +++ de cet hôte qui tente visiblement de profiter de la situation car on a bien failli passer à côté de cet appart pourtant bien confortable.

It had been cleaned to a very surface level not enough for guests to stay. The standard of cleanliness & there wasn’t any hand wash. For 1 night stay in an apartment I would expect to take all of my toiletries but would have expected along with the toilet roll a hand wash?

They hang up or went to answerphone. Phoned Booking.com. Got an email reply eventualy. After 2 hours saying the property was no longer available.Booking.com offered an alternative property on the other side of London.Entirely not acceptable. My daughter who was at work spent nearly 2 hours trying g to sort it out.We walked 25 mins to an alternative hotel. Spent £200 an it was rubbish. We then received an email fron Booking.com to say you would pay £50 if we booked another hotel now. I have been a regular customer for 10 years Nothing less than full compensation is acceptable. Unresponsive host who will block your number - the location was the only good thing about the property The cleanliness was appaulling. i have never left a bad review but this one is very necessary. the place was disgusting when i first arrived. it was as if it hadn't been cleaned for the past 5 stays at minimum: • dirty fridge - left over food inside. Crumbs, liquid waste and splashes of food everywhere inside • ⁠dirty oven with grease and oil on trays that had been used and not washed • ⁠dirty microwave, toaster, kettle • ⁠dirty dishwasher • ⁠Limescale and grime everywhere in bathroom • toilet was used and not flushed when I arrived. It had a strong, unpleasant odour, as if it hasn’t been properly cleaned after recent use. There were skid marks in the toilet • thick layers of ⁠dust everywhere • ⁠grime on walls, doors, handles and light switches. very grubby feel • ⁠stained sofa and chairs I contacted the person i collected the keys off of as soon as i realised how dirty the place was. he told me there's nothing he can do as he's "just the cleaner". i then contacted the host who then sent two "cleaners". They were two men in shirts and jeans who arrived with no cleaning equipment. very clearly not professional cleaners. They did a rushed, lazy job in 45 mins after which the fridge, toilet and microwave were still dirty eg the toilet still had skid marks. i contacted the host again to let him know that this is simply unacceptable. i am an airbnb host myself and i would never leave a place like this for guests to stay. How can fundamental places like the fridge, microwave and toilet still be dirty even after a clean?? They don't care about the guest experience at all I tried to call several times and ask for a partial refund at least. He ignored my calls then blocked my number The swimming pool, gym and sauna are also NOT accessible with this booking as they've advertised it. i went to the lobby only to find out that the fob isn't registered for these amenities. this whole booking is a LIE.
• Anonymous (10/5): Spacious and comfy apartment with amazing views in a great location. - Amazing location, good and spacious flat. Beds were so comfy and ample pillows provided. Free wifi and smart tv. Provided fans which were great for the heat. Rooftop terrace was lovely. Getting the keys was a bit of a faff. The apartment could’ve been cleaner.

• Philip (1/5): Do not book this property. - Terrible experience. Booked to stay for the Pulp gig at the 02 on 13 June. On my way to the property I got a call from Anthony to say due to plumbing issues the property not habitable but I should not worry because they had made me a reservation at a hotel close to the 02 and they would cover the cost of that hotel. There was a reservation for me but it was not paid and I ended up having to cover the cost of the hotel for the night. I am now having to go through Booking.com customer service to try to get my money back. Do not book with these people. Awful service.

• Anonymous (2/5): Terrible. - Location. I was very disappointed with my stay at this apartment. Last minute around 2 hour from our arrival time, I received a call to say there was an issue with our apartment so they would give us a different one in the same complex. On the call I asked if it would be the same style of apartment and I was told it would be the exact same just a different room. The apartment was nothing like the place we booked, as you can see in the photos. It was dirty, and looked like it had not been cleaned properly before we came. The blind in the living room did not work so we could not access the outside area and there was not even a dining table for us to eat on. The apartment was supposed to be on the 11th floor with a nice view of London but instead it was on the ground floor with a shared “balcony” / outside area as the neighbour which also felt unsafe. As a student I had saved to take my sister to London and wanted a nice place for us to stay. I was really looking forward to staying here as from the pictures and reviews it looked lovely. However it was not. Not only was the place nothing like it was advertised, it felt unsafe. As 2 young girls it did not seem comforting as it was clearly somebody’s else home, as shown from the cupboard full of someone else’s belongings. As the apartment was nothing like the photos I requested a partial refund and was blocked. I am so disappointed. I now feel think twice about booking through booking.com. Do not recommend.
• Ben (4/5): Poor stay - Good location. We were deeply disappointed to find ourselves in an apartment completely different from the one we booked, and it was dirty. The photos on Booking.com were entirely misleading. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom was unsanitary. I've never posted a negative review on Booking.com before, but people truly need to be aware of this property
• Tammy (7/5): Kylie Tension tour 02 - So near to 02 arena cant get any closer , amazing night seeing kylie The fact booking.com listed it as a double deluxe room with 2 double beds and I only got 1 double bed basic room . Plus needs a little updating curtains , removing ornaments and dusty puctures , also wasnt very clean, windows , floor bathroom and behind tv unit need addressing and maybe some new towels as they were very stiff not soft at all . Lovely view though and a great position for 02 venue , would defo stay again but not in room I was given .
• Dominique (5/5): The location of the property is great, but i was taken to a different property than advertised - The location of the alternative property they put me in was great, a literal 2 min walk to the O2 I contacted the property before my arrival to try and organise key handover by my message went unanswered. When my call was answered i was told someone would come to meet me, they did but I was not taken to the property advertised but a different near by property, i was disappointed by this as i received no prior notification and the lack of explanation made me uneasy and nervous. The property i was taken too was very different from the one advertised, it was grubby with stains on walls and the bedroom carpet and it was clear someone was living there, the mattress was in very poor condition, no lampshade in the bedroom, used flannels and a shower cap was in the bathroom and the overall cleanliness of the place was lacking. The TV in the bedroom had a foreign plug so was unwatchable. There was also a lack of information provided about how to book the pool, this should really be included in the property details. A disappointing stay, as where i was put was nothing like what is advertised, communication on this could have been much better.

• Nick (9/5): Enjoyed it, would stay again - We arrived early and the chap got to us as soon as he could to give us the keys to get in. We are very grateful to him for that. The proximity to the O2 was a massive help for our event that night. A few bits and pieces were a little tired/ outdated but overall this was not a major issue at all since the room was just a base for us - not a hotel.

Spacious and good security into building and accommodation floors. Bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Cutlery drawer, cutlery and some dishes were dirty as was hob top. Skirting board in bathroom beside bin was thick with dust. Carpet in lounge needed hoovering. Stains on carpet in bedroom and in various walls just made the whole place feel grubby.
• Lucy (3/5): Not worth the money. - The view is nice. The location is right next to the o2. The bath tub was dirty (hair and a bug), oven not cleaned, heating didn’t work, marks all over the property (needs a paint and updated furniture). Also, when we arrived we were told the pool and spa area was closed, which is why we chose this room in the first place!! We were not informed before our stay, and when we complained to the man that checked us in, he said that he was just the cleaner and to contact the property, which we did and have been trying to do since and are being ignored. Not the kind of service you expect for the amount of money paid for the room!!

• Oriana (10/5): Amazing. Will come back and stay again next time I'm in London - Brilliant location if you're going to the O2. Its not even a minutes walk away. The host is polite and communication was great leading up to arrival. The apartment was immaculate and very spacious with fabulous views from the balcony. Lots of shops and restaurants close by and there's a Tesco express round the corner to pick up any groceries for your stay. I will definitely stay again.

• Rose (5/5): Great location, very poor bed for sleeping and handover poor. - Location brilliant for the O2. Flat size and cleanliness were excellent. View excellent. Handover of keys were poor. Person delivering keys we contacted as advised 30 mins before arrival. He arrived 1 hour 20 mins later! He told us how to get in and out but not how to use the lift. The bed was a disaster and probably cheap. Everytime one of us moved, it woke the other one up. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable.

A part from that everything was great!

The kitchen is well appointed and the shower is powerful. The building itself is well maintained and the host very friendly with good communication. The is a roof garden a few floors up which you can use. This property is advertised with having a swimming pool however this building does not have a pool. The building next door has a pool which residents may be able to use however there is no guidance on this. Some of the photos advertising the Apt are of a different Apt, probably in the building with the Pool which the owners must also rent out. There were no toiletries made available so if you are staying for just a night or two, this may be inconvenient albeit there is a very busy Tesco express within a few minutes walk.
