- Chauncey (8/5): - While this building is clean and modern, beware that the elevator goes only to the 3rd floor - so if you're room is on the 4th floor, you will need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Our room was VERY VERY small, even by european standards. The (king sized) bed was also basically on the ground. There was not enough space in the room for my husband and I to have our small (carry on sized) suitcases opened at the same time. Also the opening to the shower is very narrow! The Japanese toilet was a nice perk. Kerns is a very small town, and to get there you need to take a city bus from Sarnen (short ride). The hotel has a restaurant and there are a few other restaurants in town, but it is a mostly residential town. I would not stay at this hotel again - but it is clean, safe and modern. Check in was fully automated and you can unlock your door with your smartphone - however it is difficult to reach staff if there is an issue.
- Leon (2/5): - Unterkunft nur bis zur 3. Etage Barrierefrei! Hatte leider ein Zimmer in der 4. Etage unterm Dach. Es wurde ein Duftspray, bzw. Duftstäbchen verwendet, was für Allergiker höchst kritisch ist. Lüften war zwar möglich, hat aber nichts gebracht. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.
- Madison (10/5): - Great room - not very big but clean, modern and really nice new bathroom with fancy toilet and shower. I would definitely stay here again if I was back in Kerns!
- Mike (10/5): - Incheckproces en toegang tot de kamer werkt prima (alles verloopt digitaal), kamer was erg up to date, goede bedden en toilet/douche faciliteiten. Enige punt (per persoon afhankelijk) is het gebrek aan een airco. Was nu best warm en de ventilator was niet heel fijn om te gebruiken ivm de windsnelheid

Temprano en ese pueblo , así que la comida del hotel ayuda mucho , buen desayuno lo único que me gustaría es que tengan minisplit , aunque teníamos abanicos , teníamos que dejar ventanas abiertas para que entre el fresco que la verdad si está fresco , fui en agosto y estaba agradable el clima

- shalini (10/5): - Very modern and clean. Beds were comfortable and amenities were awesome. Had trouble finding parking especially since we reached at 12:30 in the night. As most European hotels there was no AC and it was very hot in the room even though we had fans. I don’t think the self check-in was very efficient when it came to getting answers to some imminent questions like parking, AC, possibility of a late checkout.

Il y a peigne, brosse à dents, charlotte, rasoir, serviettes et peignoir pour la douche, quel plaisir ! Cependant, nous n’avons pas trouvé de poubelle de recyclage… On recommande tout de même
- Jonas (8/5): Lækkert og moderne - Dejlig lejlighed med altan. Moderne og flot indretning. Værelset var rent og lyst, og vi var generelt godt tilfredse med standarden. Hotellet har ingen reception, da der er self check in på stedet. Dette virkede dog upåklageligt.

The curtains are not blackout and there are no blinds on the windows. The church bells ring last at 10pm and then again from 6am - maybe the lights can be kept off for this time as well.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible service and property - Check in is done by a machine so good luck if something is not working be prepared to wait a long time to check in to your room. Only few parking places available and always full. Below average hotel definitely not worth the money. Book elsewhere.
- Sabine (6/5): - Die Unterkunft ist an sich sehr schön und modern. Leider hatten wir vorab keine Checkin Information erhalten. Diese haben wir dann selbst am Tag der Anreise angefragt. Nach einigen kleinen Hindernissen haben wir es aber mit telefonischen Kontakt geschafft. Die Uhrzeit vom Checkin war dann aber noch mit Wartezeit verbunden. Bis das Zimmer bezugsbereit war. Das Zimmer war dann aber sehr schön, modern und auch vom Außengeräusch in Ordnung (Straßenseite mit Kirche daneben). Mir haben etwas die örtlichen Informationen gefehlt, wie z.B. die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Dazu war der Spieleraum leider teilweise ohne Funktion, was natürlich die Kinder sehr traurig gemacht hat. Die Reinigung zwischen den Aufenthalt wäre auch etwas umfangreicher gewünscht gewesen, war aber akzeptabel. Dazu hätte ich mich gefreut, wenn ich auf die angegebenen Punkte eine Rückinfo erhalten hätte
- Verified traveler (2/5): Strong complaint to Berg & Berg Hotel in Kerns. - Berg Hotel or Hotel’s.com deceived the customer with wrong contract and different pictures. Contact clearly mentioned one Double Bed and Sofa Double bed with large room with table and chairs. But the room has no table and chairs even there is no double sofa bed. I wouldn’t book this hotel with proper information. This is clear violation of contract and trust through Hotel’s com. I requested a feedback to hotel but no body answered. I again requested the proper reimbursement and this kinds of hotel which violating contact should disappear from Hotel’s .com since I reserved this hotel based on trust on this platform. I request to the HOTEL’s .com to contact me next step of reimbursement. Otherwise, I would upload my room conditon with pictures and difference in contract to social media to prevent further loss from other customers like me. Please give me a feedback by 25.04.2025 midnight.

- Ruth (8/5): Hotel neuf et moderne. On recommande - Hotel neuf, moderne avec de belles prestations. Petit déjeuner riche et de bonne qualité. Par contre, le personnel est réduit au minimum, donc quand vous avez une question, ou vous auriez souhaité changer qqe chose apres votre arrivé c est compliqué, voir impossible. Donc il faudra laisser plus d instructions ( bi-lingue de préf) pour baisser le chauffage, bien utiliser la toilette électronique ( fantastique par ailleurs). On ne sait pas non plus où sont les parkings de l’hotel. Toutefois, bien compris tout cela, l’hotel donne bcp de satisfaction au point de vue confort et propreté
- Martin (10/5): Perfekt til familie der gerne vil have luksus - Besøgte Berg & Berg som en del af vores skiferie da det kun ligger ca. 30 min. i bil fra Engelberg Titlis. Vi var meget positiv overrasket over det lækre hotel som er helt nyt og meget vel indrettet.

- Lyndon (10/5): - The hotel looks to be renovated and uses a digital key to open the front sliding door and room door. I was sent a link with my reservation info and the digital keys. Opened the link on my phone and swiped the digital key to open the door. My concern was whether their WiFi would be working, which is needed to open the link. Cell signal on my phone was spotty there. Parking was in the rear of the hotel on parking spots with yellow lines. Coop market was next door, which was very convenient. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. The person at the front desk spoke English, which was a big plus My room was very quiet. Couldn't hear the Church bells ringing across the street About 1.5 hours to drive to Lauterbrunnen from there, but the price was just right for us, so we didn't mind the drive I would stay there again.

- Daina (8/5): - Somehow I accidentally booked a room on their very first night open, which was a bit of a surprise to me upon arrival but I wasn't mad about it. The front dest staff was very kind and welcoming. The room was nice and clean although the bed was a bit lumpy and there was no soap in the dispensers in the shower. I would stay here again.
