Guest Reviews
- Nicky Southen (8/5): One night family stay in London - The location was nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. A really nice area and impressive looking building. Its not too far from the underground, a pleasant walk. And a giggle watching everybody get "Abbey road crossing photos" The upstairs shower was great, good water pressure. The beds were really comfy and we all slept well. The front door is a battle to get the key in and at night we literally had to shine a torch down the hole to locate mechanism, please just get a locksmith in and get that fixed, most of the "noise" we made was trying to get in the building! đ All over the flat there are signs saying to be quiet emphasising neighbours below, but the signs are overkill, it made us totally paranoid to be honest. We are a quiet family, all we did in the flat was sleep and shower as we didn't want to laugh or joke or basically do anything to make a noise. We didn't cook as we were eating out, all we did was boil kettle for drinks. It is a nice flat great for a family that need separate rooms for extended family, male and female etc. The beds are really comfy. It's a lot of money to just sleep and shower. It's nicely themed but I couldn't envisage using the nice table for a meal and having a giggle or games in the evening as it would be too loud. There is no carpet on the very creaky stairs and landing, it looks nice but is probably contributing to noise for neighbours. There is a shop at the end of the road but the only useful thing it had for us was milk, very limited for anything else so I would recommend bringing essentials with you đ
- Brid (9/5): - Apartment was spotless. Lots of space in a beautiful area. We all had a brillant sleep. It is one of the nicer places I have stayed in London and I have stayed in several. Nothing

- Chris (6/5): The location was excellent just off Abbey Road. Described as a luxury house not that accurate. In need of some work and - Location. Enough rooms to accommodate our family. Too many signs 12no reminding you to be quiet. Signs saying take your shoes off, the carpet was stained badly already and very old.
Blind in kitchen old and dirty, toilets relied on Maserator pumps, curtain in our room had hole in it, and fire alarm head missing on top of stairs.
- Matt (7/5): Great place, but not totally relaxing. Overall good. - Fabulous location, lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Family werenât able to relax because of the incredible number of be quiet signs; felt a bit like a library!
- Julian (9/5): Quirky, comfortable apartment, well located - Liked Beatles theme decor - fun and in keeping with proximity to Abbey Road studios. Quiet location. We appreciated the 4 separate rooms Using booking.com prompt, tried to request early entry, but this did not work. Pinched provided was incorrect. It took some time to make contact with the owner (Oscar) to get correct code
- Harvey (1/5): Bad - See below Whilst I understand cancellation at the last minute equates to ârules are rulesâ that is life. I found Oscar heartless and unreasonable. Booking.com passed over responsibility too. Little communication from either of them. Avoid.
- Jonathan (7/5): Good - The outdoor key didn't work and it would have been nice to check in a bit earlier but it was not allowed
- Jensen (9/5): Clean and spacious apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. - This apartment was able to fit six adults, easily. Very good kitchen and washing machine (no dryer). Clean and comfortable. Walking distance (10 minutes) to two underground stations that gave great access to London. Very quiet and peaceful location; no street noise. Guests are expected to be quiet, as well (not a problem for us).
There are a few small grocery stores within a 10-15 minute walk (Tesco Express, Aldi, and a few others) and a small store at the end of the block.
And it's very close to Abbey Road Studios! The staircase was a bit wonky and slanted.
- Jody (7/5): Good - Location. The amount of signs telling us to be quiet could have become a fun drinking game, but they made us too scared to breathe. That coupled with the heating being set to a temperature rivalling the surface of the sun made the stay uncomfortable. Texted the host about the heating and that the thermostat did not help, but was told that it was controlled by a second thermostat. It would have been helpful to have been told where this was located as we were too frightened to go on a thermostat hunting expedition in case we made noise over 6 decibels.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oonagh (7/5): Nice...but... - The location of the property was terrific...near a lovely High St. , pubs and restaurants..also Tube stations. Plenty of space and clean, modern facilities. The ensuite bathroom sink was blocked from the first night...the smell was of drains for the whole weekend. The flat has a very steep curved stairs which makes the upper floor [ where the showers and bath are] difficult to access for a person with limited mobility.
- Anjela (6/5): Nice house in a great location, but don't expect answers or information! - Beautiful and spacious house, nicely furnished, clean and in a great location in London. Very quiet neighbourhood and no road noise. Very easy to get to the nearest Tube (which is around a 8 minute walk away). Also, I always appreciate a 'shoes off' rule as it keeps the property clean for everyone. Host was uncommunicative - wouldn't answer messages despite me asking direct questions. Coffee machine was broken and I messaged about this, but was completely ghosted by him. I completely understand that things break down, but it only takes a second to respond to your guest's queries so this was just rude. There was also no information about how the heating worked so we couldn't turn the temperature down. Also, if you have mobility issues you might struggle with the wooden staircase from the first to the second floor.
Overall a nice property, but I probably wouldn't stay here again as I would have no faith that the host would respond to issues if they arose whilst I was there.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): I would highly recommend your property the photos don't do it justice, kithen was perfect - The apartment location was excellent, loved the apartment Modern, spotlessly clean, lovely style of property, spacious rooms, but cosy perfect in every way Neighbour was a bit crumpy, accusing me of throwing cigarettes around witch was not true, yes I smoked outside the property, but made sure I took my cigarette end with me to dispose in a bin outside the property all times
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent. The entry system was easy. The place was immaculate. It was close to the paces we wanted to visit. I have no dislikes whatsoever
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious apartment. Excellent location. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.
- Trudi (9/5): Loved our stay here, it was a pleasure and exceeded our expectations. Felt very blessed. - We liked just about everything about the property. Very comfortable, everything worked as it should, very clean, loved the provision of a coffee machine, towels, hairdryers, soap, tea, coffee, clear instructions on how to enter. The location was quiet, clean, lovely residential area with restaurants, coffee shops, etc within walking distance. Felt safe. The fact that there were loads of signs in apartment to be quiet because of the neighbours. Itâs very understandable but we werenât a rowdy group but we felt even talking in a jovial voice was loud. But we didnât get complaints so presumably all was okay with the neighbours downstairs. Communication with host wasnât bad but it seems a phone call was preferable to the booking.com messaging system. However, I appreciate that the booking etc went all according to plan. Thank you.
- Giampietro (9/5): Prime Location Near Abbey Road Studios! - Excellent position near Abbey road studios (we spent 3 day recording at the studios); easy check in and check out, clear communication with the host, beautiful house
- Sorcha (7/5): Good - Local area very nice. Toilet in ensuite was not working and left bad smell in room all week end, which necessitated having window open.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (5/5): Unwelcoming but well located - The location is great and priced well. The property didn't feel welcoming, it felt as though we realy shouldn't be there. As well as being told that during our stay we should keep the noise levels low due to vulnerable neighbours, there are 6 signs in the lounge alone to remind you to keep noise down. This made us initially feel we weren't able to talk. There are other signs around the property.
The hall light is terrible not creating enough light to see the stairs and there us no outside light, making it difficult to find the key hole.
- Susan (8/5): Had a lovely 50th birthday - Location was great, 10mins from tube stations, car parks close by, the property was clean, warm and beds were comfortable! Having 5 of us share a shower, was not great, even though there was a shower in the free standing bath, it was not easy to navigate. Also the upstairs toilet woke the person staying in the room underneath if used during the night, so we swapped rooms! Did feel 7 notices in the lounge âto be quietâ was an over kill as you had sent a text to me already about being quiet!
- Yu (8/5): Very good - Location was great, beds were comfortable and smooth communication with owner.
- Oliver (10/5): Amazing family trip to London. The flat was stunning as the title states and excellent value for money. Would highly rec - Fantastic space, location and cleanliness. Nothing
- Calum (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - The apartment was in a fantastic location just around the corner to Abby rd crossing. Easy access into apartment with clear instructions. Very spacious bedrooms big, beds comfortable. Loved all the beatles theme we loved it. Nothing
- Vicky (8/5): Very good -
- Hsiang (7/5): Good - Clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. Pillows and blankets are excellent. I had a good sleep. Everything is good. Maybe the stairs, itâs a little bit sloped.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bonita (8/5): Facilities are great. The house is clean and within reasonable distance of public transportation. - Itâs clean and tidy. The water pressure is so small and even though thereâs two bathrooms, the water pressure couldnât afford two people showering at the same time.
- Patricia (6/5): Good location, but not a good place for families with young children. - The home was very clean and the location was good. I would not recommend this property to families with kids under 10 or older adults. The main stairwell had a dim lightbulb and dark carpeting. Made it difficult to see when coming in at night. The wooden spiral stairs to the 2nd level were slick & felt like they were falling in. I would be very worried with small children. There were atleast 10 signs on the small first floor telling you to be quiet. It felt uncomfortable to be there.
- Lars (7/5): Great location. - Location is great, and rooms are spacious. Nice bathrooms. Nice kitchen facilities. The lock is tricky and time-consuming to open. Multiple signs everywhere to be quiet, a little excessive and unfriendly.
- Susannah (7/5): Itâs a great location and building, just needs some tweaks to be perfect. - Great location, lovely period property, spacious rooms, high ceilings, comfy beds. Owner responded to queries well. Lights & Bulbs need checking, welcome book needed for guidance on waste/bins and how to stop the oven beeping etc. More and better quality saucepans needed, sofa is very uncomfortable, cabinet and cable tidies needed for TV cables/boxs. Better fit on toilet seats! And on-suite has a damp smell.
- Raymond (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (7/5): Good -
- Kunal (10/5): It's a very good apartment for two families. - Everything Nothing
- Barbora (9/5): Pleasant and quiet stay at The Beatles - The appartement is tastefully decorated in Beatles style, the location is just around the corner from The Abbey Road, but it is still very quiet. Underground station St.James Wood is in the walking distance and the bus stop is approx. 200m from the doors. The appartement is spacious and clean, it is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. 4 bedrooms are placed in 2 floors, 2 bathrooms are on the second floor and one extra toilet is in the first floor. We enjoyed our stay and I hope we didn´t do too much noise , considering the neighbours. Even a squirrel came to greet us in the morning. Nothing really important, my kids were constrained from the bathtub curtain - it allows water to flow on the floor.
- Sue (8/5): Great location and good accommodation - The location was amazing. Great size property No mirrors or dressing tables to do hair and make up. Shortage of electrical plugs. It smelt of damp when we arrived but we found the smell it was a dirty mop. We cleaned it and left it in cleaner.
The electrics in the lounge need sorting (see photo) and tv difficult to use had to connect it to our mobiles. No instructions.
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
