Guest Reviews
- william (9/5): - the area. the host help with a power outage. generally the place for the price was good. close to beach and shopping didn't supply trash bags. wasn't sure about trash containers.
- yellins (8/5): -
- Di (10/5): Fabulous Frankston Beach Pad - Enjoyed a wonderful stay with my grandson's highly recommend!!
- Amanda (10/5): - Close to the beach and shops
- Emily (4/5): - Close proximity to the beach and the main bed was comfortable. The rest of the property felt like it was on the brink of breakage, with stains on the sofas and carpets and the floorboards weren’t installed properly. The curtain rails weren’t connected at all end so if you tried to open or close the curtains the rail would fall off. The kitchen was very awkward and given the kitchen sink was actually a bathroom sink, a dishwasher would be appreciated.
We ended up finding alternative accommodation.
- Leila (10/5): - lovely host, amazing location!! my cat & I had the best time during our stay. 🫶🏼
- Greg (7/5): Great location - Location Noisy neighbours but not on purpose. We could hear every convo unfortunately
- Christopher (3/5): - access to the beach No host support, no enough shower towels, no tissues or kitchen paper, no kitchen sink to wash dishes, have to do all the cleaning work such as washing dishes, empty all the bins ......large list of check out rules
- simmone (8/5): - Location and value for money and very homely Needs some maintenance to freshen with linen and towels and more comfortable single beds

- daryl (8/5): Overall it was great and we will certainly consider staying there again if we come back to the Penin - warm, spacious, super close to the beach. Good showers, I think you will need to replace the beds at some stage fairly soon

- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (9/5): Relaxing and stress free - Perfect for the 3 of us.(2 adults and our fur baby) this is our 6th time staying here, so yeah you could say we like it, I guess!!!🤣 Thin walls, not sound proof. Can hear every footstep from neighbours. Not great when they get in at 2am.

- Bianca (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (6/5): Pleasant - Could have had some night lamps in sleeping area/bedroom
- Jenni (9/5): Superb -
- Xue (5/5): Passable - The location is great, it is right next to the beach.
The communication with the host was efficient. 1. the apartment was not cleaned at all when we arrived (±17:00), the host organised cleaners and it was cleaned a few hours later, but the floor were still sticky and the carpet was very old and smelly.
2. the facilities are very old and the kitchen was built in the previous bathroom.
3. There were a lot of holes on the walls and covered up with toilet paper (no idea why it is the case).
4. there were also devices on the wall were covered with plastic gloves and taps. also don't know what those were. Asked the host whethrer those are cameras, the host replied"not cameras, but also didn't know what those are".
- Williams (5/5): Ok - Location was great There was dog faeces in the courtyard. Also some where it was cleaned up but not very
well and it had a really bad smell so we were not able to sit outside.
The coffee pods fell straight through so the machine was not usable. Lucky for us McDonald's was nearby for us coffee snobs.
Light switches next to front door didn't work
- Ashlea (10/5): Location, location, comfortable and convenient - We had such a good stay. The location of this property is sensational. Right on the beach, close to walking tracks, cafes, supermarkets and shopping malls. Barely used the car. The property was exactly like the photos and was comfortable and convenient. Even though there was no stove or oven we made do and thought outside the box for meals.
- Neal (5/5): Passable - Definitely needs some renovations, particularly skirter boards (water damage)
- Rhoda (9/5): Superb -
- Stuart (10/5): Best possible place that my partner could have chosen for the crisis situation I was going through! - We would just like to say a gigantic thankyou to you guys!!! The beach house retreat was very much needed and everything, even down to the artwork on the walls was utterly transformational for me and what I am going through. The 5th August is my grandmothers birthday (she passed away a few years ago) so for me felt like a sign she is walking beside me and carrying me through this very very diffficult time. Thankyou for your beautiful place of solice and serenity and we cannot wait to book again!! WE LOVED EVERYTHING!!
- Nathaniel (4/5): It would have been better if I hadn't had my car torched thanks to the spike I'm crime around this s - The Apartment was clean and well presented I didn't like the fact that I lost my car within the first 6 hours of being at the Air BnB
- Lesley (7/5): Good - Excellent proximity to the beach, shopping centre, train station and public transport.
Spacious rooms, good facilities and well equipped. Clean but could do with a thorough deep clean and a bit of tlc.
- Bianca (9/5): Superb -
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gloria (3/5): Not to our liking - It was a little in the more modern side It’s smelled like vomit. The stairs were super steep. The parking was taken up by the bins. The bathroom lock was broken. The AC filters needed cleaning.
- Julia (10/5): Wonderful break and great accommodation - Location and had everything we needed Parking was an issue on the first day
- Jodie (8/5): Fabulous location just needs a bit more attention to cleanliness. - The location is fantastic. So close to the beach, restaurants, pubs and shopping centre. The property could be better presented. The outdoor area was really untidy. The bbq was rusty and dirty. Couches and rug need a good clean. My friends bed had crumbs in it which makes you wonder was it even changed. The fridge had butter and some other marks so that definitely hadn’t been cleaned since the last stay.
- Jasmine (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable stay, will be back for sure! - Absolutely loved the proximity to the beach and also the shopping centre! the wasnt a full kitchen so cooking was a bit tricky but for a short stay you can make do with what they had available.
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - We've been back the 6th time here and no complaints from me or hubby beautiful location close to beach and shops and the Owen's are really nice and easy ongoing Nothing just the rain but can't help that with this weird Melbourne weather
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (7/5): Quirky townhouse set up, comfortable beds, clean upstairs bathroom. Not enough towels upon arrival until second evening. - Location, nice little outside furnished area, beds quite comfortable Sticky floor downstairs. Not enough towels left for all guests. Couldn’t park in allocated spot first night when I arrived late as someone else parked across the parking space.
- Jude (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Beautiful stay in great location - So close to the beach.
We utilized the cot for our 1 year old, really nice to stay somewhere with a cot!
Would have loved to stay longer!
- Linda-jane (8/5): Very good - The location , there was plenty of crockery and kitchen appliances . The Coffee Pod machine did not seem to work
- Shane (8/5): Very good -
- Alisha (8/5): Great family get away on the beach - On the beach, plenty of room, good parking.
- Ellis (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect, spacious house, family and animal friendly, walking distance to shops and beach we thoroughly enjoyed our time here I'll definitely book again in future...thank you so much
- Rohit (9/5): Superb -
- Donna (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (7/5): Overall ok, lovely beach very close. - Location great. Overall it was good for a short stay. I think if longer would be frustrating due to lack of facilities. Two bathrooms a bonus. Single bed like a rock. Outside furniture lack TLC. No iron, no spare rubbish bags.
- Graeme (6/5): Pleasant -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Great place right on the beach and walking distance to so much..beds were comfy, host was great and had good communication...they left us fruit and rocky rd.....cheers for that
Would stay again Not staying longer
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (9/5): Superb - Close to everything and good location There wS nothing to say
- April (6/5): Great location, - Great location There was construction at the adjoining property, it was very noise and there was no warning. Given I had a young child with me, had I known I would have not stayed as this was loud from about 7am and the language was not appropriate. It would have been nice to have some warning. The property could use some maintenance, the door handles are not secure and it could use a good clean, the showers could have been cleaner
- Craig (5/5): Passable - Easy Quite run down and the bedrooms are not really separate.
Was Google Home listening to us the whole time??
Milk was good but no tea etc.
- Scott (6/5): glad i never took kids would have been a nightmare for food preparation and dishes - location good, place nice and tidy, owner really nice to chat with No Car parking available
no kitchen sink and doing dishes is crazy in a hand basin
no stove top and no powerpoints for the frying pan in kitchen area had to use the vanity bench and space was so bad for cooking anything
tv Aerial didnt work, down stairs air con and heater didnt work
no TV up stairs where all the kids and you sleep
- Renee (8/5): Very good - Location
Close to everything even shops pubs The weather
- Jessica (8/5): Very good - Location, beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach. The draws where the dishes was dirty, I thought we had a balcony, and would have had a proper view of the beach. Couple of things broken in the house.
- Anonymous (8/5): Old house but excellent location and was perfect for our needs. - Location was great. A few things in the house that weren’t working
- Beck (10/5): Stay was excellent, will definitely be returning! - Location was excellent. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Very spacious and private. Comfortable bed and great with a pet!
- Anonymous (8/5): It was really enjoyable, thank you Vlad! - Almost everything! We would have liked a fully equipped kitchen as we were there with the family and found the kitchen facilities a bit limited. However, it didn’t prevent us from having a nice time.
- Claire (4/5): Disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend. - Close to beach cafes & shops Kitchen was awful, “fully equipped “ a stretch of the imagination. There was 1 towel per bed but no face washers or hand towels. No bedside lamps or windows that opened, so unable to get fresh air.
Very basic - disappointing. Parking was an issue too. Only 2 hour parking in the street. The longer term parking that was suggested had no spots available.
- Cate (8/5): Very pleasant & comfortable stay. - Very roomy & comfortable. Bed was very comfortable & the Fiona was very warm.
- Sillery (7/5): An enjoyable stay - Great location and easy to access the beech and the main bed is super comfy. We had the added bonus of dolphins chasing bait fish just off shore on the beach which is a 2 minute walk. No spoons or forks and the Reverse-cycle air-condition didn't work downstairs. I little run down here and there but over all pretty good.
- Gemma (7/5): Good -
- Daisy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ngaire (7/5): We enjoyed our stay but it would have been improved with more kitchen facilities and parking onsite. - The house was well located with great access to the beach and large shopping centre. Beds were comfortable. View was lovely from upstairs over the beach. The host provided prompt responses to our queries but it would have been nice if they also stated their name - just a little more personal and welcoming. We did not like that our car had to be parked across the bridge about 2 blocks away from the house - it felt insecure and it was inconvenient for my elderly mother to walk that far (which would have been worse if it was raining but lucky for us it wasn't.). The towel rails in both bathrooms were all broken so there was nowhere to hang wet towels. Although the owner supplies a toaster oven and a microwave, there are no dishes to cook anything in these two appliances. Kitchen utensils are very limited.
- Jordyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Quick stay - We were here for a treatment, found the house very clean and cosy. walking distance to center and beach. Nice pocket of Frankston The weather was windy so we could not do everything we wanted outdoors, next time will stay for longer
- Christian (10/5): Excellent winter break - Loved it. Long Island is like a differnt universe, peaceful days, beautiful nights, sea breeze and city views . The beds were comfy, big bedrooms, big living room. Nice backyard and we had lots of walks on a very nice beach. In the evening we crossed the river bridge and walked 5 minutes to a very nice bar! Also price was good Nothing
- Katherine (4/5): Disappointing -
- Stephanie (7/5): Good - Location, cleanliness, safety, separate levels for toddler to sleep, fast wifi, nice bedding/manchester Shared wall with extremely loud neighbours, no microwave to heat toddler bottle quickly, no rubbish bin, no free parking (only 2hr street parking), kitchen sink in bathroom, ensuite towel rack fell off wall
- Chonchaya (8/5): perfect location and good for family of four - clean and comfortable no private parking , if have washing machine would be nice
- Ryan (7/5): Good - The location was good
The little backyard was good
Beds were comfy
Close to the beach There was a light on in the garage that was on the whole time and made it very difficult to sleep as it blared into the bedroom
The neighbours also playing music loud till very late in the night around 1am
There was no microwave to heat my sons food up
