• Barry (9/5): Great location, quiet and secure with spacious apartment. - The size and space and outlook of the apartment was very good, as was the location (close to beach, shopping & cafes, as well as light rail to City). Access to building and then 2nd floor apartment was relatively easy and lift worked OK. Building seemed to be reasonably secure, so felt safe. Air conditioning worked well, but effectively only for lounge. Wifi and TV easy to set up and use. Very hard to get information about check in procedure ( worst we have experienced in many stays in Port Melbourne). Final information only received after we arrived in Melbourne (after a few more emails). Could only find one pot ( no frying pan), so unable to cook any breakfast or dinners. Fan in 2nd bathroom not working.
• Rebecca (8/5): Overall, this was a great apartment. - We Liked the space & size of the apartment, as well as the Location thi swas great for our needs. The Cleanliness, the apartment needs a deep clean, there were spider webs, hair and dust.
• Erin (9/5): Lovely, honestly wish we could have stayed in Melbourne for a few days longer. - The apartment was within good walking distance to nearby shops,cafes and restaurants, we felt secure during our stay with the locked door out the front with swipe access to enter the building and the elevators. There wasn't anything at all we didn't particularly dislike, we were quite happy with our stay and the pricing on the apartment for the length of time we were present in melbourne.

• Carolyn (10/5): Great stay at The Bay - Perfect location for us as near where our son lives. Beautiful apartment and much bigger than it looks. Comfortable bed and great shower. All appliances work well Although plenty of toiletries to get you started there were no cleaning items, not even a starter pack. So no d washer tablets, kitchen roll or wash cloths or washing powder. Easily solved by buying them and wouldn’t stop me booking again
• Jill (7/5): The apartment was basic for the price but adequate as a place to sleep, clean and comfortable. - The apartment was chosen for the location and it worked for a two night stay. I found the communication poor. I had to request information on check in as I had been informed someone would be in touch a few days prior and there had been no word. Also, check out information only came by email after 9pm the night before.
• Kym (9/5): Conveniently located in great area with high quality feel. - Huge apartment with plenty of room. Nice and secure entrance and safe access coming and going. Location was great, could see the beach from the balcony and only one street away from shops/cafes/pubs. Very quiet with easy access. Very clean and comfortable dining/lounge area. Both bathrooms were roomy. Linen on beds were fresh and crisp. A little warm our first night in the bedroom as a/c is only in the living area. Could do with a ceiling fan or pedestal fan in the bedrooms just to circulate the air at night. No dishwashing tablets and hardly any dishwashing liquid for doing dishes but minimal inconvenience considering the property was amazing with everything else. Would come back and stay again.

• Jeffrey (8/5): It was a very comfortable unit, close to tram stop, pubs and cafes and the beach was at the end of the street. Darn near - It was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. On booking.com the unit was advertised as having secure onsite parking. This was not the case. We contacted the airbnb host and he was very helpful offering to pay for paid parking at a station around the corner from the unit.

• Renae (1/5): uncomfortable - great location and clean neat apartment in a good location bedroom one had a broken window winder that is completely rusted out It meant I was unable to close it all the way and it stayed open half and inch which let in a cold breeze constantly so we were unable to use it to sleep in. As the room was cold , I contacted the property owner and all the he did was offer me 3 hours extra to check out. I found that poor form since we paid almost 700 dollars for 2 nights and one room was not able to be used for sleeping. Myself and daughter slept in the couch instead.
