• López (1/5): Horrible - Era lo unico que tenía lugares libres en semana santa. Tuve que ir a este hostel porque era el unico que tenía lugar. Además está en una ubicación tranquila y segura. Uff, ¿Por donde empiezo? En primer lugar, el dueño es un chanta y un prepotente. Al momento de pagar, me cobró más de lo que dice booking, supuestamente por un recargo de servicio. Además, solo acepta efectivo, si le pagás con otro medio de pago te cobra un recargo de 10%. Las habitaciones compartidas están en la planta baja. Al bajar las escaleras, lo primero que noté es un fuerte olor a cloacas que me acompañó las dos noches de mi estadía. Además, por el precio que cobran, el hostel no está bien decorado. Los pisos y las paredes se ven viejos y mal pintados. El hostel está repleto de dibujos hechos a mano por el mismo dueño. Y que decirles, resultan un tanto perturbadores. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas para la cantidad de camas que tienen. Si están completas, los huéspedes terminan teniendo poco espacio. El baño de las habitaciones apenas califica como baño. Es un pasillo angosto con un inodoro, una ducha incómodisima, y un lavabo. No hay staff nocturno ni horario de silencio. Al ser un hostel social, los otros huespedes tienden a beber y escuchar musica fuerte hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Las habitaciones están dispuestas alrededor de la sala común, y no hay aislamiento sonoro, por lo que preparense para no poder dormir. Ademas la escalera y el piso superior son de madera, y cada paso se escucha como si alguien estuviera tocando la batería al lado de tu cama. Dado todo esto quería irme a otro hospedaje la segunda noche, pero el dueño no quiso devolverme el dinero. Le inventé una excusa para ser educado, pero igual no me lo quiso devolver. Todo esto no sería malo si fuera un hostel barato, pero me costó aproximadamente 25 ARS la noche.

• Rosemarie (6/5): Ok if you like very basic hostel - A very basic, rustic hostel. Rather DIY in places. Location not good, 6klm out of town, up a very rocky dusty road. Dorm’s incredibly small, tight on luggage space, and not much room to move about. Shower/toilet room incredibly tiny, no place or pegs to put clothes or towel when using. Bunks comfy enough but again small size and no guard rail on top bunk. Kitchen good size and ok equipped. Good seating area. Nice outside area. Dorm size, far too small for 4 beds Shower/toilet size and nowhere to hang clothes or towel whilst using. You have to hope they don’t get wet.
• Sabina (6/5): Pleasant - The kitchen was big and well equipped. There was always one of the bathrooms free to use. The place is just too noisy. I slept in one of the bedrooms downstairs and you can hear every single step above you, it has wooden floors and it's impossible to sleep until everyone is gone. Breakfast is kind of sad, almost no fruit or cereal unless you're the first to arrive.
• Bart (4/5): Do not reccomend - Breakfast is simple but good. You can take as much as you like. The owner makes a nice drawing each day regarding the weather The hostel is very noisy, you hear everything. The dorms are downstairs and if somebody walks on the stairs it's like they go trough your room. Other guests don't take each other into account and there are no silent hours. The matresses are of horrible quality. The bathrooms have no lock and could use some deep cleaning. The doors are very low which is a problem if you're over 6 feet. Price/quality are very off. Way too expensive for what you get.

Delicious breakfast, clean, bicycles for rental, helpful manager - an artist who cares nicely about details and guests. Facilities like supermarket, bar/cafe are not very closeby. Garden lacks view/sun.

• Nikola (1/5): Scam with payment, room not like on photos - Where to start… we book 4dorm. Hostel policy is only cash. Marcelo was doing check in for us and our price was 29usd. He use official exchange rate so we should pay around 24,000ars(29x830). But he said we need to pay extra 6000 for booking commission. From when guests need to pay booking commission?? We came from El Chalten after 27hours in bus, on holiday, so we were too tired to look for other accommodation. So we pay. Next day i contact booking and they confirm that i should NOT pay for booking commission but because i paid with cash i didnt have any prove. Marcelo scam us and cheat us. He show us room, its 6dorm and not 4 how we book. I complain and he said sorry 4dorm is full… in room was two more girls and after we came back from dinner they was not more there, idk if they change room or they leave place. Or Marcelo move them because new couple arrive, so on end it was 4pp in room including us. Room is terrible. I get bed without pillow, blanket was dirty, toilet is next to bed and smell bad. Door from toilet you cant close and dont even have lock or doorknob. So sharing room with strangers and you cant even close bathroom/toilet??? Amazing Toilet and shower was connected, no even curtain, everything get wet…

Amazing place to enjoy Bariloche It is a few KM out of the city centre but easy to get to on the 20,21 or 10 bus which comes frequently
