• Gabrijela (7/5): Probably the first and last visit - Location is pretty good having plenty of convenient stores nearby as well as the Akabane train and bus station connecting you to a lot of the major transport lines. There was a lot of hair laying around in the bathroom when we arrived. No elevator and the two staircases are quite narrow making carrying larger luggage difficult and even dangerous at times. Not to mention, the whole building is freezing especially at night, so you either accept the freezing temperatures, or have the ac running the whole time you're in the room (if you visit during the colder times). The walls are also quite thin, and I don't mean the standard thin you get in a lot of other places especially in Japan, I mean I can hear my neighbours talking almost as if the walls were not even there. Something that raised a few alarms as well safety-vise is the way you check in, the first day you just walk into the unlocked building and room with the key waiting for you on the table inside, no security system, staff, nothing. Sure, it might be convenient since you can immediately settle into your room without talking to anyone, however the fact is that anyone else can just as easily enter and exit the room before your arrival because it is literally unlocked until your arrival. I want to say we got what we payed for considering the price, however there are a bunch of other locations in the same price range with far better quality and security. The great location is not really worth it.

• Sretenovic (10/5): Recommendations - Location is very good, close to big train station from which you have connections to any part of the city. 30-45min to any important location in the city. Apartment was very clean and has enough space and utilities that you need of you're visiting all day. 3rd floor with very narrow stars, which are problem only for baggage carrying.
• Rafael Della Modesta (7/5): Definitely not soundproof! - Nice studio, not too far from Shinjuku. Everything was very clean! Friendly staff too It’s definitely not soundproof. You can hear the neighbors walking and talking. So annoying! And you should avoid doing noise too. Otherwise you’ll disturb them!
• Mark (10/5): Perfect - Great location and room was exactly as shown. Good value for money. Shopping centre 5 mins away, station 5 mins away. Quiet. I mean I guess the bathroom is a little cramped but this is Japan so it is what it is.
• Corina (8/5): - Lage in ruhiger Seitenstraße, aber zentral. Sauber, Waschmaschine vorhanden, aber ohne Trockner. Vermieter hat klare Anweisungen zu Ort, Check in und verhalten gegeben. Sehr gute Alternative zum Hotel, wenn man Zeit mitten in Tokyo verbringen möchte Kücheneinrichtung etwas wenig (1 Herdplatte, 1 Pfanne), haben es aber ohnehin nicht genutzt. Zimmer eher klein und leider sehr hellhörig (schnarchen des Nachbarn und Gespräche gehört), steile Treppe zum OG, mit Koffern ggf etwas schwierig.

Away from Akabane station, This property is self check-in too, the admin will give you instructions before check-in, we also requested early checked and they granted it. I can definitely choose this again next travel. There is no bidet in toilet and a little small. Can’t move properly just need to be careful.
• Kaylene (5/5): Adequate for short stay - Location of the property was just a short walk from the station but we got a $NZ7.00 taxi and probably wouldn't have found it if we didn't. Once there, it was a 5 min walk to the station so that was good. Had read the reviews about the 3 flights of stairs and should have taken notice, very narrow and hard with big bags. Kitchen and bathroom very small, not a lot of stuff in the kitchen, no toaster and one ring induction hob with one pan, no eating knives. The bathroom was very compact, smallest we had come across in 3 weeks in Japan, we are not very big and anyone well built would struggle in the shower and first non heated toilet seat. The bedroom was an okay size for us to have our suitcases on the floor and not in the way, bed pretty small and average on the comfort side. Small balcony for drying clothes and first apartment we had that didn't have a drying room in the bathroom, as we were on the way home that wasn't really an issue for us. Apartment was clean but felt it needed a spruce up, the window and sliding door had opaque glass which felt a little claustrophobic not being able to see out. 3 flights of stairs and rest covered above.

• Josh (9/5): Excellent budget stay - Everything was as described and worked well - washing machine, little kitchen with kettle/potable stove/some cutlery+crookery/mini fridge+freezer. Bathroom and shower was small but good pressure and got nice and hot. AC/heating worked well. Small balcony too. Small touches like washing powder, tissues, hangers, shoe horn were all a nice touch. And by the front entrance they provide umbrellas for guests to use for the day. Everything was cleaned to a good extent. Good location - 5mins from a well connected subway station. Easy self check in, well explained. All in all really good value for the price.

• Jai (9/5): Nice, affordable, clean, convenient - The location was great. 5 min to Akabane station which connects to all lines so transportation around Tokyo was easy and convenient. 1-5 min walk to nearest convenience store, clothes, coffee, shops, restaurants, bars. It was very clean and had everything I needed. The heater / AC worked perfect. Theres a little balcony for drying clothes. There’s a small kitchen for daily use. The bed was very comfortable and everything had sanitation covers so I felt comfortable knowing that would be changed after my stay. Communication with the property managers was quick and easy on Booking app. They sent thorough instructions before my stay. No complaints. Would stay there again!

• Huang (9/5): - 1.交通特别方便，往哪个方向一直走都能走到赤羽站，而赤羽站不管到东京、涩谷、池袋、上野等等很多地方都可以直达！ 2.在交通方便的基础上，这个价格和居住体验也是相对实惠和舒服的。床很舒适，拖鞋吹风机晾衣架电磁炉冰箱微波炉洗衣机卫生间浴缸配置非常齐全，卫生间和阳台略小，但是整体住起来很舒服！ 3.垃圾分类特别方便！不像很多地方需要自己进行很繁琐的预分类！ 4.房东是中国人，各种叮嘱和路线图都很完备，特别热心友善，不仅可以提前寄存行李和因为大订单附赠了接机，而且还请求之后帮忙代收了花火大会的门票从池袋帮忙送了过来！真的人特别好。 卫生间和阳台略小，但是完全够用了！

Need to soundproof the room.... could hear neighbors' walking up stairs and talking(but they seems to be in normal voice) The toilet is really small and the setting inside it is not convenient. Although the room is big,but there is a hallway, which you will hardly use. So the actual places you would use is not that many.

Binnen een half uur op de meeste bezienswaardigheden Er douche is erg klein en de wc heeft een wc-bril hoes wat erg onhygiënisch is. De keuken heeft geen borden, alleen 2 bakjes. Daarnaast kwam er onverwacht bezoek van de brandweer inspectie. We werden verwacht dat we het Apartement uit zouden zijn en de inspectie kon plaatsvinden. Deze informatie kregen we de nog geen dag vooraf. Erg jammer.

I accidentally left my electric toothbrush behind in the apartment, they kindly left it in a safe location for me to come and collect the following day. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and had everything we needed. Toiletries and clothes washing powder provided. Bed was comfortable. All very clean. The shower is perhaps a little too small for tall British people like ourselves 😅 but that’s probably not an issue for everyone! Overall, very clean and comfortable and ideal. Very small shower space. Not a big issue.

I give this place a 10! - I needed to extend my stay twice, and the host helped me extend my original room first, and then switch to a neighboring room on the same floor for the second extension of my stay. I'm thankful to the host for allowing me to extend my stay two times, and helping me do this. The value for the price is very good and the host is very communicative usually through the app, but a couple times they just came to the front door to ask a question or answer a question. I actually liked this place and would stay here again.
• Roddy (8/5): Reliable stay, just what I needed, and with a great host! - The host is very good at communicating. I did not have a Japanese phone number and the host helped communicate with the luggage delivery service from Narita Airport. I was able to wait and meet the luggage delivery person for a smooth hand off. The host was very quick to communicate with me for all my questions. The host also accommodated me when I needed to extend my stay. I was able to make the room warm or cool very quickly with the air conditioner / heater working very well. The laundry machine worked great. I just had to use a translator app to figure out how to use it. I really liked the area and it's about a ten minute walk to the train station. My room was on the third floor and I don't think there was an elevator. I was okay carrying our four heavy luggage up the narrow staircase - but this might be hard for some people. The bathroom area is small but everything in the bathroom worked perfectly. I could hear others talking, snoring, and moving above me - but I sleep with ear plugs so it was ok.

• Kerrie (10/5): Great accommodation option - Great location in quiet street, short walk from station and range of shops. Generous space, air conditioning and washing machine in room. Great communication. Easy to use JR Pass to access main Tokyo stations. Excellent value for money. No lift, so request ground floor if travelling with heavy luggage. No TV, only important if you are expecting the room to have one.
