• Caroline (9/5): Stylish, well equipt, comfortable modern unit in great location in Palm Cove. - A very stylish comfortable apartment, in a great location, with excellent large pool & Jacuzzi. Local person met you to provide excellent highly useful introduction to apartment & local area. Unfortunately we visited when essential works were happening to the building which were noisy & disruptive to our stay. Hopefully this will not affect things for too long.

• Maik (1/5): Gäste werden beschimpft, Androhungen gemacht und falsche Behauptungen unterstellt - Wir, als Familie sind jahrelang gute Kunden bei Booking com. Und reisen sehr viel! Aber sowas ist uns noch nie begegnet. Die Vermieter sind sehr unverschämt, unfreundlich und dreist. Sie drohen am Ende des Aufenthaltes mit Strafgelder, wenn Geschirr nicht richtig weggeräumt worden ist. Außerdem versuchen sie mit Lügen, man hätte was aus der Unterkunft mitgenommen, bei uns Matratzenschoner, um Vielleicht noch ein bisschen Geld aus den Gästen raus zu holen. Gäste werden schon ein bisschen wie Verbrecher behandelt. Sehr traurig! Unserer Meinung nach, sollten diese Leute Ihre Unterkunft nicht mehr anbieten!

• Andy (4/5): Over promised and under delivered. - I like the location in Palm Cove. I've stayed at the Drift more than half a dozen times since 2013 and generally had a good experience. However..... This was the first time I've booked a room that was not managed by the Drift Resort front desk. A few things really let this apartment down. The claim of a partial sea view. No sea view from within the apartment, and a tiny glimpse if you lean over the balcony. I specifically booked this room expecting more of a sea view. Photos attached. The air-conditioning air extraction system was was loud and sucking air through the apartment at high velocity 24/7. Air literally whistled through windows & doors on the pool side, and the front door slammed if you let go of it. There was no way of turning this extraction system off or down. The stiff entry door lock made it awkward to open the door....The host representative had trouble unlocking it as well. Tried using the microwave, but all the symbols have worn off on the buttons. Regarding the second bedroom; The Drift Resort used to call these daybeds. I would be disappointed if I was expecting to use that as a separate bedroom. You have to close glass shutters and glass sliding doors to create the bedroom, so no acoustic privacy between beds.

• Noël (9/5): - The apartment was spacious and clean overlooking the beautiful pool and had glimpses of the sea. The property was well stocked with everything you need, including towels, pantry staples and chilled water. The location is a huge plus, right on the beach and near excellent restaurants and shops. I would definitely return here. The coffee machine was tricky to use at times even with very detailed instructions.

Walking distance to most dining options and the supermarket/cafe. Spacious grounds with ample leisure areas around the pool. Easy access to public transport when required. Cold pool

• Glenn (10/5): The only thing I could say we did not like was when we left as we wish our trip was longer - The pool and other facilities were excellent and cleaned daily . The position of The Drift was in walking distance of cafe, restaurants, fishing off the jetty and as we hires a car was an easy drive to Mossmans Gorge , Daintree/ Cape Tribulation, Mission Beach , Kuranda and many other great spots we travelled to. Our room had everything we needed even down to a jar of vegiimite in the cupboard with many other daily items you use but would not expect to find in a holiday rental Nothing
• Mkcov (10/5): Beautiful stay in the most perfect location! - We absolutely adored this apartment. We had family members staying in apartments in the same building and it was noted how much care and effort has gone into sprucing this one up by comparison. It had been freshly painted just before our arrival and the whole apartment felt clean, bright and luxurious. We slept beautifully in our comfy bed and felt utterly spoilt waking up to the most amazing morning view of the pool downstairs. The location was also perfect. It was a short walk down the road to the Pullman where we were attending a wedding, next door to the Tavern where we had other events taking place and convenient access to the main strip/beach. There was even a lovely hair salon downstairs where we ended up getting my daughter’s hair styled for the wedding we attended! If we are ever lucky enough to be back in Palm Cove, we would choose to stay in this apartment again without hesitation. We miss it! Thanks so much Peter and Glenis. Minor suggestion is perhaps replacing the microwave. We had a bit of trouble working out how to use it because some of the labels have rubbed off.
• Vicki (10/5): Otherwise great. :) - Location Great, property great. Drift management not very helpful as we hired a private property. No mention of getting lift to third floor on instructions - no-one at reception desk and was unable to get access to 3rd floor - had to ring to find lifts after trying many stairs. My luggage was lost and I approached reception to see if it would be OK to go to lunch on the Friday (arrived on Thursday) if would they accept the bag - was told no because if one person wanted a favour then everybody would want one. Also someone parked in our allocated parking spot - notified reception who then thoughtfully gave us a flyer to put on the car you are illegally parked. Told us to park in visitors section.
• Clare (10/5): Palm cove - We loved the location and the apartment had everything we could have needed. Very comfy bed and beautifully decorated. Easy commute to all the tourist spots. Lovely to come back to Palm cove after the busy day. Great restaurants within a few minutes walk. Loved everything about our stay.
