Guest Reviews
- Rachel (5/5): Great location but under average quality of accommodation. - Very handy location and lovely view. Enough space for four people. The apartment could have been cleaner and much better equipped. There weren't enough plates, no paper towels, no tissues, no bins in the bathrooms, only one extra bin bag, old, stained towels in the bathrooms, no door on the cupboard with the kitchen bin, broken lid on the bin and the whole place was generally very cheaply furnished and equipped. It was problematic that the hallway light had to be always on in order for power to be on, and the door was quite tricky to lock. Only one bedroom had air con and only one of the kitchen outlets was working. Not much was there in the way of welcoming information, though the person helping at the number provided was excellent and responded promptly, even over a holiday weekend.
- Jarrod (7/5): Good - Great location. Excellent lifts capacity, never had to wait long. Apartment was very worn and weathered. Cupboard door missing in kitchen. Marks on walls and carpet. No access to amenities, which you don't find out until after booking. Likewise with parking. Small for a 2 bedroom, but ok for a short stay.
- Julie (7/5): Average - The sofa was uncomfortable and felt like it was going to break every time you sat on it. Doors were missing off the kitchen units. Windows were broken and wouldn’t open. No coffee machine
- Bernadette (8/5): Comfortable stay, reasonable price given location. - Central location, walking distances to conference venue. Security. Toilet is a bit cramped, laundry detergent is empty, not a lot of coat hangers, spare fob not provided, door had to be locked from outside.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shirley (9/5): The apartment was perfect for our stay, well priced and very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again. - Excellent location, although the apartment is not known as the “Rare Southbank Gem” it is part of the Australia 108 building. This caused me some confusion when arriving, alone late at night.
10 minutes walk to train station and CBD.
Excellent restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores nearby.
Great views of the city at night.
The apartment was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen equiped with most utensils. Bathrooms very clean. I was travelling with a colleague for a conference. Unfortunately we were given two apartment door keys but only one “fob” to gain entrance into the main building complex and the lift. This made it difficult to attend individual appointments (could be easily fixed with 2 fobs).
No instruction folder for the appartments - wifi instructions, map of the city, team information etc. this would have been very useful.
Double plug on the bench had only one functioning power point - can be easily fixed.
Tea and coffee supplied but no milk.
A can opener/ bottle opener would be a useful addition.
- Nikki (9/5): Great place to stay and within walking distance to all the sights. - Proximity. Everywhere we visited was within walking distance. The view was spectacular. The ensuite bathroom exhaust took forever to switch off.
- Jane (8/5): Great location! Everything we needed was in the unit. - location The building creaked in high winds
- Lahoria (7/5): Good -
