• Goran (1/5): Bad - Apartment was not as described or pictured. There were stains on the bedsheets and black mold growing on the bathroom wall and shower. The apartment was also dirty with shoeprints on the floor. The bathroom window had been broken from a previous break-in which was not shown in the pictures. We have never left a booking before, but did not feel safe or clean. We lost a day of our trip having to find an emergency place to stay. We reached out to the owner, but even though he acknowledged our complaints and concerns, he refused to refund us.

• Geertrui (9/5): Superb - The host was incredibly accommodating and flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was very much appreciated. Location is great too, you are but a few stops away from the Acropolis, and there is a direct line to the airport as well. Room was extremely spacious and had everything you could possibly want and need for a longer stay.

• Jovita (8/5): Comfortable for a short stay - The apartment is spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped for basic cooking, everything was clean and tidy. The value for money is very good, located not far from the center and very near a metro stop. The communication with the owner was smooth and he/she was very responsive to my messages and questions Just as other travelers mentioned - it is a bit noisy as it is right on a busy street, but if you don't need to open a window, then it is all fine. The apartment is in a half basement, so there's not much light, but it wasn't a problem for me. The booking process could be improved by the owner proactively reaching out to the guests with information about the check in. Although the owner was very quick to respond to all questions and requests, perhaps it would be a better service if he or she reached out with information proactively.

• Jack (9/5): Great host, great place. - The host took pity on my 4:30 AM arrival and had the property ready at 9 AM, for which I am enormously grateful. The apartment had everything I needed, was in a great location close to the metro and where I needed to be, and was hugely affordable. Excellent all around. Only complaint was this it's a bit noisy, but it's in the middle of Athens, so it's mostly unavoidable.
